...the World's Out of Control!

While the panel was discussing the rapidly escalating "signs of the times," it occurred to me that messages are being sent today to the unregenerated (unsaved) and regenerated (saved) world. Both are getting a targeted message that is biblically based. But the two have entirely different worldviews.

I saw a recent newspaper headline that read, "Everything Is Spinning Out of Control." I hear talk show hosts saying the same thing as well as Web site writers. There is always an attempt to pin the tail on some of the worst issues going on today. Some acknowledge that in this "pinning the tail on the donkeys," there may not be enough donkey tails! Some will even admit that the can-do, bootstrap approach embedded in the American psyche may be slipping. Eroding it is a powerlessness that is chipping away at the country's sturdy conviction that man and government can alter destiny, right wrongs, and set the planet on a new course.

Yes, the world got infected with a campaign slogan of "Yes, we can!" when, in fact, we can do nothing without God's guidance, mercy, and blessing.

So, "no we can't" stop the birth-pang signs that are supposedly "spinning out of control." That's why nobody said it would be easy to be born for such a time as this! So now we have a potential global pandemic. This doomsday scenario will create in some great anxiety (and new legislation may be passed since the new administration says we should never waste a crisis).

From pandemics to loose nukes, human government is trying to do the supernatural. The results would be humorous were they not so pathetic. All of the efforts to "save the earth" by spending trillions of dollars will be dashed because that is not in God's plan.

The unbelieving world is being steered by secular humanists who have great faith in man and none in God. They believe all things are possible with the right human leaders. They are opening themselves up to receive a supernatural man, likely in the near future, known in the Bible as the Antichrist. He will appear as a man-with-a-plan and perfect "Mr. Fix-it." And he will have a legion of issues to fix!

These people do not have the light of the Holy Spirit in them, and thus they cannot connect the dots that the time is short and that they are deluded. Please share your faith with them! If you wondered why you may have been born for such a time as this, here is one major reason. God is bringing people into your life who need to hear the gospel and whose soul needs saving. Many of you have been placed on the planet to do this while there is still time. Ignore the gospel of global warming and focus on the gospel of Jesus Christ, His soon return, and the need for your loved ones to come to saving faith in Him.

The world of the believer is being sent a message as well. Human government has been and always will be a failure. Unregenerated man will act only in self-serving ways, pretending to "serve the people" but in realty, only serving self.

Believers, on the other hand, are being sent a reminder that only a theocracy will ever work and the Bible talks about only one such forthcoming Kingdom. It is Jesus ruling out of Jerusalem for 1,000 years. He will not rule out of Washington, Cairo, or London. Only Jerusalem -- historically rich but poor in natural resources. King Jesus will make right the world that has gone haywire, driven by greed and power.

The most powerful leader in the world always resides in Washington, D.C. That makes that real estate the most important in the world. But someday soon, it is going to be dwarfed into irrelevance as the King of kings rules the world with perfect government from literal Jerusalem.

Bill Cosby...A Black Man Who Is Right!

'They're standing on the corner and they can't speak English. I can't even talk the way these people talk: Why you ain't, Where you is, What he drive, Where he stay, Where he work, Who you be... And I blamed the kid until I heard the mother talk. And then I heard the father talk. Everybody knows it's important to speak English except these knuckleheads. You can't be a doctor with that kind of crap coming out of your mouth. In fact you will never get any kind of job making a decent living. People marched and were hit in the face with rocks to get an Education, and now we've got these knuckleheads walking around.



The lower economic people are not holding up their end in this deal. These people are not parenting. They are buying things for kids...$500 sneakers for what? And they won't spend $200 for Hooked on Phonics. I am talking about these people who cry when their son is standing there in an orange suit. Where were you when he was 2? Where were you when he was 12? Where were you when he was 18 and how come you didn't know that he had a pistol? And where is the father? Or who is his father?



People putting their clothes on backward: Isn't that a sign of something gone wrong? People with their hats on backward, pants down around the crack, isn't that a sign of something? Or are you waiting for Jesus to pull his pants up? Isn't it a sign of something when she has her dress all the way up and got all type of needles [piercing] going through her body? What part of Africa did this come from? We are not Africans. Those people are not Africans; they don't know a thing about Africa.

I say this all of the time. It would be like white people saying they are European-American. That is totally stupid.

I was born here, and so were my parents and grand parents and, very likely my great grandparents. I don't have any connection to Africa, no more than white Americans have to Germany, Scotland, England, Ireland, or the Netherlands . The same applies to 99 percent of all the black Americans as regards to Africa . So stop, already! ! !


With names like Shaniqua, Taliqua and Mohammed and all of that crap... and all of them are in jail. Brown or black versus the Board of Education is no longer the white person's problem. We have got to take the neighborhood back. People used to be ashamed. Today a woman has eight children with eight different 'husbands' -- or men or whatever you call them now. We have millionaire football players who cannot read. We have million-dollar basketball players who can't write two paragraphs. We, as black folks have to do a better job. Someone working at Wal-Mart with seven kids, you are hurting us. We have to start holding each other to a higher standard.

We cannot blame the white people any longer'

Seek After Me

And they went out quickly, and fled from the sepulchre; for they trembled and were amazed: neither said they any thing to any man; for they were afraid. Mark 16:8

My holy people; true resurrection power does not leave you feeling all together, but instead it leaves you altogether undone. Such is the condition of hearts that truly find Me and the truth of My resurrection.

Seek Me with all your heart. Seek Me for all that I have and for all that I wish to do, for I am looking for hearts desperate to know Me fully. For these, I will grant resurrection power to shake them from their waywardness and from their fear, to find great grace for such a time as you live right now.

Many seek Me Sunday mornings by way of praise and worship and singing and praise. This is not seeking Me with all your heart. Do you understand that? I am looking for a people that when they get away from the public eye, that they run to Me in private. Resurrection power comes to those that truly seek after Me.

Looking For Fathers

And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. Ephesians 6:4

My holy people; I am looking throughout the whole earth for fathers: those who will mentor, those who will disciple and those who will put relationship above activity.

There is a tendency amongst many to cast up a stumbling block in the way of those I would use as fathers. This stumbling block is jealousy and selfishness. Where My holy people have not died to themselves, jealousy and selfishness will bring a wreck to whatever fruit you may bear.

Seek to find Me, rather than fulfill quotas of activity. Those who find Me will find freedom from dead works. Those who continue in their own way shall find it increasingly difficult to bear any fruit whatsoever.

Seek My Face. Call upon My Name. Share what I have shown you with others that are interested in following Me.

His Voice

But the voice answered me again from heaven, What God hath cleansed, call not thou common. Acts 11:9

My holy people; at this time I am bringing many to Me that are unexpected from your stand point. Many prodigals, I am speaking to at this time. Drawing them to Myself. Restoring what was broken down, so that which is in shambles may be built up.

I intend to use the least of these as builders in My Kingdom. These will have much to rejoice about, since they have received much from My Hand. Do not call these people common or unclean or any such thing. Some of these are your sons and your daughters. Others are complete strangers. Embrace them and welcome them into My family. Honor what I am doing and what I have already done and what I will do in and through their lives.

It is time to step forward and mentor those that I bring your way. Do so gently. Do so diligently. Mentor and disciple them as though they were your very own children, for such is the Kingdom of God.

My holy people; your prayers are being answered. What has been held back is begun to be released. The heart-cry has been heard from heaven and My answer will soon be evident.

Seek My Face. Call upon My Name. Be and become an accurate expression of Christ in the earth.

He Who Endures To The End

But he who endures to the end shall be saved. Mark 13:13

Avid readers typically fall into one of two categories when reading a book: those who like to be surprised by the ending, and those who read the last page before even starting. Some people just love knowing what to expect so that no matter what happens in the middle, they know how it all turns out.

Sometimes Christians approach life this way as well. It can be difficult to trust God with our lives because we can't see the ending or understand the reason for everything in the middle. But in reality, though we may not know the details of how our individual life will turn out, we know that Christ will have the victory, for Scripture tells us that "…the Lamb will overcome them, for He is the Lord of lords and King of kings; and those who are with Him are called, chosen, and faithful" (Revelation 17:14).

Because God has already won over all earthly kings and armies, gods, Satan, death, and sin, we can rest knowing that no matter what happens between now and eternity, there are no surprise endings.

He who breathes into our hearts the heavenly hope, will not deceive or fail us when we press forward to its realization.

Shake Off The Filth

And I will make her that halted a remnant, and her that was cast far off a strong nation: and the LORD shall reign over them in mount Zion from henceforth, even for ever. Micah 4:7

My holy people; I can take the very worse and can create something beautiful, something of great worth: for I am the One who works wonders.

Many believe it is impossible to turn things around, but I say: simply repent. Seek Me with all your heart and you will find Me. I will reveal your sin and will show mercy to you, as you turn from your backsliding and return to Me.

Now is the time to run to your prayer closet. Not to pray for the latest set of prayer requests or daily oblations. Instead, I am looking for a people who will run to their prayer closet, realizing that it is the Church that I desire to repent, not the world. It is not about declarations and intercession and proclamations. It is about following Me. I am looking for a Church without spot or wrinkle or any such thing.

How filthy My Church has become, purveying wickedness in her heart rather than passionate love for Me. How wrinkled are your clothing, for you have forgotten your first love. How spotted are even your dealings with Me, for you do not seek Me out, but choose to follow ritual and religious form.

I sent My Son to die, that you may live. My holy people, it is high time to live. Shake off the filth that you are hiding behind. Come to Me. I will make you whiter than snow. I will make you beautiful. Seek My Face. Call upon My Name. Be and become an accurate expression of Christ in the earth.

Easter Monday Cruicified With Christ

"And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts." (Galatians 5:24)

Death by crucifixion was surely one of the cruelest and most painful forms of execution ever devised. Yet the Lord Jesus "for the joy that was set before him endured the cross" (Hebrews 12:2); He "hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit" (1 Peter 3:18).

But just as He sacrificed Himself for us, we are now privileged to offer our "bodies a living sacrifice" to Him (Romans 12:1). This spiritual sacrifice is actually compared to crucifixion. "Our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin" (Romans 6:6).

Crucifixion is not an instantaneous death, but a very slow and painful death. Just so, the death of a Christian believer to sin does not take place in a moment of special blessing, but--as in physical crucifixion--is painful and slow. Nevertheless, it is basic in the truly effective Christian life.

In the Book of Galatians, we are told three times by the apostle Paul that the Christian believer should be following Christ in His crucifixion--in crucifixion to self, to the flesh, and to the world. First we are to be crucified to the love of self. "I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me" (Galatians 2:20). Secondly, we are to be crucified to the flesh, for "they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts" (today's text).

Finally, we should be crucified to the lure of this world. "God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world"

(Galatians 6:14).

A "Higher Love" On Good Friday

This is the "higher form of love" that Jesus calls each of you to: to give of yourself, not until you are fed up, but until you are raised up—up upon a cross.

Whatever your situation, it may not end as you would like (and nor should you feel you need to remain in a situation in which you or your family are in danger, or it is debilitating beyond your ability to function, etc….) However, your suffering will not go unnoticed nor be wasted. For through this crucible, Christ will sanctify your soul. And this is an immeasurable gift that will bear enormous fruit for the rest of your life and into eternity.

How many trials I have had in the past that, at the time, I wish would have disappeared, such a death. But looking back, I see that these trials have been part of the royal road toward holiness, and I would not give them up for anything, since they were permitted by God’s will. The path to holiness is not lined with roses, but the blood of the martyrs.

If your trial makes you angry, then tell God you’re angry. He can take it. You can certainly pray to have the trial taken away:
Father, if you are willing, take this cup away from me; still, not my will but yours be done. Luke 22:42

It requires faith to pray this way. Do you lack it? Then listen to the next verse:
And to strengthen him an angel from heaven appeared to him. Luke 22:43

What I’m saying here will make some of you angry. "You don’t understand!" No, I probably don’t. There are many things I don’t understand. But I do know this: every crucifixion in our lives will be followed by a resurrection if we but persevere.

In each and every painful test…there is only one place to go: into the darkness of the tomb to wait for the Light of Dawn. And every time in those nights of faith—every time—Jesus was there. He was always there in the tomb with me, waiting, watching, and praying with me until the sorrows turned to peace, and darkness to light. Only God could do that. Only a supernatural grace from the Living Lord could conquer the utter blackness which surrounded me. He was my Rescuer… He is my Rescuer.

Yes, this is the hour of temptation for many of you, to either trust in Jesus or to run. To follow Him now in His Passion—your passion—or to join the throngs who mock Him and reject the scandal of the Cross. This is your Good Friday… but if you persevere… Eastern morn will truly come.

Spiritual Ugliness

"Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men's bones, and of all uncleanness." Matthew 23:27

"Beauty is only skin deep" seems to be the modern secular equivalent of this "woe" in Matthew 23. The corresponding Old Testament statement is probably this: "As a jewel of gold in a swine's snout, so is a fair woman which is without discretion" (Proverbs 11:22). This principle has lasted for millennia simply because it is easily observed in all cultures. Our Lord's application to the scribes and Pharisees was particularly pointed: "Even so ye also outwardly appear righteous unto men, but within ye are full of hypocrisy and iniquity" (Matthew 23:28). God is not interested in the "pretty outside" but in what's on the inside. "But the LORD said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the LORD seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart" (1 Samuel 16:7).

Hypocrisy and iniquity are the two attributes of "uncleanness" identified by Christ. The core of hypocrisy is the intent to deceive others, either with actions or words. And the core of the biblical teaching about deception is the false teacher--those who look like and talk like God's people, "but inwardly they are ravening wolves" (Matthew 7:15). Iniquity is the biblical term for "without law." Such a person has no desire to submit to authority, and is both willing to do evil and is dangerous to be around. Cain murdered Abel, the Bible insists, "because his own works were evil, and his brother's righteous" (1 John 3:12).

Such a condition should never plague us. Jesus "gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works" (Titus 2:14).

Open Door Policy

Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need. Hebrews 4:16


The second president of the United States, John Adams (and his wife, Abigail), was the first president to occupy the White House. In his day, and for many years afterward, it was possible for average citizens to walk into the White House unannounced to attempt to see the president. Try that today! Multiple levels of security shield the president from the average citizen seeking an audience.

If it's difficult to see the president of the United States, or the leader of any modern country, think how much more difficult it ought to be to have an audience with God. But it's not difficult at all! Scripture tells us that all who have been made pure by the blood of Christ can come "boldly to the throne of grace" to "obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need." But how many take advantage of that free access? If we don't, it's not because we don't need mercy or grace; it's not that we don't have times of need. It's more that we just can't comprehend what it means to have unfettered access to the God of the universe.

Have you entered into God's presence today? The door is open, waiting for you to walk through, if only you will.

The door is closed to prayer unless it is opened with the key of trust.

Double Damnation

"Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made, ye make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves." (Matthew 23:15)

Among the eight "woe's" in Matthew 23 is this frightening possibility that false teaching will produce double wickedness--a multiplying effect that redounds to terrible consequences. Jesus said that these self-righteous and hate-filled Pharisees were of the devil (John 8:44) and were so intent on resisting the truth that they were ready to kill if they could silence the message of liberty. Paul condemned Elymas the sorcerer as "full of all subtilty and all mischief, thou child of the devil, thou enemy of all righteousness" (Acts 13:10).

During a great revival in Iconium, "the unbelieving Jews stirred up the Gentiles, and made their minds evil affected against the brethren" (Acts 14:2). And they were not content with that. When Paul and his fellow helpers fled to Lystra, the God-hating group from Iconium followed them to Lystra and "persuaded the people, and having stoned Paul, drew him out of the city" (Acts 14:19).

Make no mistake about this issue; those who hate truth and God will turn their hate against the people of God. "If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you
. . . because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you. . . . If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also" (John 15:18-20).

Our country has enjoyed some 250 years of liberty while centered on righteousness. But rising atheistic and secular favor has given boldness to the enemies of truth. May God grant us boldness to speak His Word (Acts 4:29) amidst "many adversaries" (1 Corinthians 16:9).

It Is Time For True Worship

And the angel said unto him, Gird thyself, and bind on thy sandals. And so he did. And he saith unto him, Cast thy garment about thee, and follow me.
Acts 12:8

My holy people, follow the Truth. It is time for true worship.

It is time to mix faith with My Word, to produce some real results. This is in every area of your life: your family, your job, your relationships, your friends, your spare time, your pursuit of Me, our fellowship time, our times of exuberant worship, our times of awe, our times of hearing My Word, and in all other areas.

I desire you to follow Me. Most of all, I desire you to follow Me and as you do so, amazing things will happen. My Kingdom comes to those who seek Me, find Me and follow Me. We have the preliminaries of who I am out of the way, now it is time to concentrate on what I desire you to be doing. Be My hands and feet and voice and heart to those around you. As you yield to Me, I will lead you on the most amazing adventure of a lifetime; the adventure of following Me.

Seek My Face. Call upon My Name. And then with all of your heart, all of your mind, and all of your strength - Follow Me.

Recommended Reading2 Corinthians 4:16-18What if you were to win an all expense paid, first-class trip around the world, but while checking your baggage at the airport you stubbed your toe? Would you say, "I wish I had never won this trip! Look! I've stubbed my toe!"?
No. You'd say, "This momentary discomfort cannot compare to the enjoyment of the trip we're about to take."

The Bible says that all our earthly problems fall into that category. They aren't worth comparing to the glory that will be revealed when we get to heaven. Paul wrote, "For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all" 2 Corinthians 4:17.

So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. Whatever our situation here on earth, we know that our eternal quality of life will be beyond anything we can imagine or think about. We're looking for the glory to be revealed, the eternal glory that far outweighs all the stubbed toes and broken hearts of earth.

When Christ calls me Home, I shall go with the gladness of a boy bounding away from school.

I Say, Prepare Yourselves For Battle

My holy people; such is the shock of finding the truth of the resurrection in any life.

Prepare yourselves for battle. I say, prepare yourselves for battle, for there is much resistance to My moving in the place of your jurisdiction. Whether you are in the Bible belt, the northeast, the northwest, the Midwest, the southeast, the southwest or even the farthest nation or region: there is a growing resistance to following Me.

There has been some headway and for this I thank those who have fearlessly prayed and waited upon Me for My divine decrees and declarations to be delivered across the land. This has caused a turning back of the enemy, but this is just one major battle. The enemy of your souls is regrouping. Do not take ease, for the war is not yet secured.

I am asking for My holy people to make a stand. Both in their personal lives and in the corporate gatherings that they are a part of: to make a stand against this growing resistance to following Me. It is a great wickedness that has spread out across the entire earth and even now flexes its muscles in stern rebellion against all that My Kingdom stands for.

This means prayer and fasting. This means corporate gatherings of prayer. This means a crying out for cleansing of My Church and a renewed manifestation of My resurrection life in the earth. If My people, who are called by My Name will humble themselves and pray and seek My Face and turn from their wicked ways: I will hear and will answer and will cause the work of the enemy to be turned back in your life and in the lives of those around you. I will once again manifest the truth of the resurrection and cause the fear of the Lord to be established in the land.

Pick up the stones that are found in the midst of My Presence, in the midst of My River. Pick up the stones and hurl them toward the enemy with precision and with power, for now is the time. The waiting is over. Loose the bands of wickedness. Undo the heavy burdens. Let the oppressed go free. Break every yoke.

I will release a manifestation of My resurrection life that will carry with it power to save, power to heal and power to deliver. Perhaps most of all … power to establish the fear of the Lord in the land, once again.

My holy people; return with zeal to My standard of righteousness. Be and become an accurate expression of Christ in the earth.

Come Unto Me

And all that sat in the council, looking stedfastly on him, saw his face as it had been the face of an angel.
Acts 6:15

My holy people, do not be amazed in the days that commence. More and more difference shall be seen among those that follow Me and those that do not. Normal, everyday believers will be more and more like Me and My glory will be seen upon them. Others will likewise continue to be worse and worse, taking on the very appearance of evil instead.

Those that are seeking Me, those that are finding Me, those that are preferring My ways than their own: these I will make more and more like Me.

Do not be surprised. Do not be confounded. Instead continue to look to Me and be ready to follow Me steadily day by day. This is My working in you.

There are some who are beginning to understand My call for cleansing in My Church. There are those that know that My great desire at this time is to make My Church without a spot or wrinkle or any such thing. Those that cry out for mercy and turn from their wicked ways will be heard and I will answer their prayers and I will bring tremendous healing.

Come to Me … all that are weary and heavy laden and I will give you rest.
