Given the state of affairs in our world today, it's easy to get angry.
When some folks get angry, they go home and pour themselves a glass of scotch. When other folks get angry, they threaten people, kill people, smash things and start fires.
In a world where extortion and thuggery aren't tolerated, of course, threats and arson just don't pay off.
Unfortunately, we don't live in that world.
We live in a world today where extortion, thuggery and terror often do pay off, and sometimes handsomely. We live in a world where those least willing to play well with others often find themselves most rewarded for their behavior. In the meantime, those who operate under the normal, traditional rules of rational discourse and proper etiquette find themselves increasingly silenced and shunted to the sidelines in order to make ample room and comfort for the loudest and least reasonable among us. Our pointy-headed elites send out to the world the message that the future belongs to those least willing to accept compromise and conciliation, and to those who are willing to undertake whatever means they think necessary to advance their cause.
Long ago, the West set foot on a path to a society in which decisions were made based on persuasion and discourse. A system based on persuasion and discourse requires, of course, that everyone (or at least the vast majority) in the group buys in to the game. Unfortunately, there have always been those who preferred to "short-circuit" the system and revert to more "medieval" methods of persuasion in order to get their way. After all, if those methods work, what's to keep them from being used to trump the system? Nothing at all save personal morality and conscience. As you might have noticed, these are often in short supply, particularly among the ranks of the world's terrorists and extortionists. Thus, in the absence of a serious and meaningful official response to violence (or the threat of violence), violence (or the threat of violence) will ultimately carry the day.

Oklahoma State Rep. Sally Kern (R) issued the following statement today regarding a 30-minute meeting she had yesterday with representatives from the pro-homosexual group PFLAG (Parents, Families and Friends of Lesbians and Gays). Kern said PFLAG’s account of the meeting — which has been spread around on homosexual websites — misrepresented her statements and intent:
As a state representative who is always willing to meet with any and all of my constituents on any issue with an open and sincere dialog, it is apparent from the statement released by PFLAG that their “open dialog” was for the purpose of politicizing the conversation totheir benefit.
While I did meet with PFLAG in what was a cordial and polite meeting, they have taken my statements and have spun them to make it appear that I am backing off my comments that homosexuality is a sin. As a Christian who believes in the authority of God’s Word, I will never retract my comments that homosexuality is a sin.
PFLAG has also spun my words to say that I am in favor of “sexual orientation” laws. I unequivocally do not support “sexual orientation” laws. While I do not advocate employers going on a witch hunt to fire homosexual employees who are performing their jobs in a manner just like any heterosexual employee, I do not support laws that would force employers to check their First Amendment rights to freedom of religion, speech, and association at the workplace door.
Since PFLAG has shown their lack of integrity by misinterpreting my statements from our meeting to fit their agenda — thus revealing their purpose of open dialog to be just a means of seeking to weaken my position and strengthen theirs — I see no benefit in having future meetings with them.
God’s Word does not change. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever. His Word expresses His moral character. Therefore, my opinion also will not change.

The answers to the following questions are among the most important ones ever sought. If they had been asked, and honest, accurate, answers offered, the American people would have held the potential solutions to this nation's most crushing problems within their minds and also within their grasp. Because they were not asked, or asked by only a tiny number of caring, astute, educated, constitutionally literate citizens, most of us have fiddled while Washington burned. It is so late in the day, I do not believe that if we moved right now with every resource at our disposal, this nation can be saved from the ultimate ride into the septic tank of history, due to the flushing action of the economic markets, banks, big oil and of course, the Federal Reserve System (an extension of the Rothschild European banking conspiracy).
Understand that the banks have already made their big money, have always made money--even during the "depression." They will emerge from the next great financial crises-somewhat bruised, but always ahead of the game. They will destroy economies, whole nations, indeed perhaps civilization, but they will emerge like maggots from dead carrion, bloated from their "meals" of your savings, your retirement systems, your former investments and your life's work. These vultures are circling over America at this moment and could care less what happens to the crumbling domino effect created by their insatiable, indeed evil greed for money. They can not EVER be trusted to pursue the morally upright path with the people's or the nation's treasure. Since a cabal of paid off, corrupted and treasonous Congressional representatives voted late in the night of December 23, 1913, to surrender the nation's banking responsibility--congressionally given to the United States Department of the Treasury-the PEOPLE"S treasury, to a PRIVATE banking group--the Federal Reserve System--this nation, from that moment to this very moment, has beenrunning toward a date in its destiny that would see the end of free government and real liberty unlike any the world has ever known.
We are witnessing the end of a nation, it's magnificent history forgotten, it's potential for world leadership absolutely ruined by lying presidents, a prostituted military general staff overseeing the killing of its fighting core, bought and paid for legislators in the service of the banks, and a court system caught somewhere between military rule and the elusive but deadly concoction of "maritime" law and suspended constitutional government. The still in effect state of emergency used since March 9, 1933, including the bankruptcy of the US, and its "dissolution" of the government is the result. That is why judges rule without regard to the constitutionality of the issue before the court. That is why judges have assumed the power they have without the authority or constitutional right to do so. That is why judges everywhere ignore legal rights, deprive the accused of informed jury rulings, and dismiss tax cases at will. THE CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES IS SUSPENDED AND NOT AVAILABLE TO DEFEND CITIZENS WITHIN THE COURT SYSTEM.
Congress can do what it likes and ignore you. The Council on Foreign Relations dictates to congress and the President what it wants achieved toward the ultimate goal of US assimilation into the world's government and a complete loss of our independence or sovereignty. That is why the Executive branch and the President are racing to close the deal with Canada and Mexico to create a giant borderless region where the banks win again. That is why mutual security or defense pacts are being brokered or already set in place to assure that unrest over this or any other slave creating legislation is protected, placing our economy AND YOUR JOBS on the fast track for annihilation. It explains the lack of any significant roundup of illegals or protection from international criminal drug running. It makes clear why a useless, meaningless war is fought endlessly in Iraq and why no one has had an original thought concerning oil independence in 60 years. These are issues and questions that have not been asked before a responsible, serious governmental agency for a generation or more. These same questions have been ignored by candidates running for public office, and have not been considered important by the very people who are going to be at the mercy of those officials, some of whom have held congressional public office since the early 1960's. We are sowing what we have reaped.
Additional questions about the operations of our intelligence agencies, domestic eavesdropping, satellite surveillance on American citizens, court approved or private interception of our phone conversations, e-mail and text messaging captures by the CIA, FBI, BATFE, the Pentagon, the IRS, various state police agencies, and phone companies themselves show conclusively that our freedoms are absolutely gone. Believe it or not, the first amendment is in serious doubt by congress and the courts. Say what you believe? Get a boat load of guts, because being right and saying so loudly, will give you a one-way ticket to a U.S. detention camp soon enough. We have virtually no 4th amendment protections left, none. The second amendment is in great peril by those who fear its threat to tyranny, and that we may just follow the Declaration of Independence and escort them out of town.
Still further questions about the integrity of our pharmaceuticals, the lack of accountability by clinics and hospitals that are killing more than 100,000 people yearly due to inbred infections rampant through the carelessness of lazy doctors and nursing staff who lack or ignore simple sterile protections observed even in the third world arise every day in America. Who is safeguarding us? Hospital administrators? Surgical teams? Apparently not.
Big Pharma and its pill brigades? Not in the last 50 years or more.
Get back to grandma's remedies. They work and cost next to nothing. Oh, that's right, I should have known better. Those old time solutions are VERY cost effective. That's why the big name pharmaceutical companies want ALL natural remedies regulated, eliminated, outlawed or bought up by themselves. It's about MONEY-not the cure or the gain for you and me.
Where are the citizen committees asking these and thousands of other questions? Still too busy with crap that doesn't matter. Still to set on boozing it up this Friday instead of tending to the nation's business. Still making excuses why you just can't afford to prepare for a rendezvous with history that will leave you breathless. Permanently breathless.
Where were the open and honest investigations starting in just the 1990's concerning Oklahoma City, Waco, Ruby Ridge, Flight 800, September 11, 2001, the activities of the depraved and corrupted Democratic version of Heinrich Himmler, Attorney General Janet Reno, the whacked out Republican Attorney General John Ashcroft, his Patriot Act I and later II. German Fatherland (oops), that's US Homeland Security, Director Chertoff and the Gestapo? The list goes on forever. Where were your questions and your outrage? Do you have any even now? Are you grasping all of this? Do you care? Have you given up? Are you so worn down, you can't think or reason? Who will you blame when the trucks stop rolling? Where will you go to get toilet paper? Will you have enough soup on the shelf? Will you demand to know why our own United States Department of Agriculture demanded that every domesticated animal in America be chipped? Will you ask why every move you make and every free action you attempt is now regulated? Do you have the courage to refuse a REAL ID in the form of a driver's license that will regulate and locate you anywhere, anytime? Are you rushing to get a "chip on board" US passport? WHY? Will you stop obeying these endless absurd "laws" and just say NO!? Have you stopped to consider that the only thing left for you to do is to start breaking the "law?" Will you ask just one more question? Are you able or willing to do anything at all????? Will you begin this process by fighting political correctness, fighting special rights for only certain people, challenging stupid anti-common sense environmental and societal needs like letting children do what they want without discipline and allowing endangered centipedes to have more habitat considerations than my family?
As I have stated in recent weeks, America is issuing an SOS, the lifeboats are within reach, the implosion is accelerating and you had better prepare. THIS IS THE DAY, THIS IS THE TIME, AND THIS IS THE HOUR! We see the evidence of genetics run wild in our dwindling wheat supply. We see rogue nations, rogue dictators, rogue oil company executives, rogue oil refinery managers and cowardly congressional morons encouraging by their inaction to protect us, the destruction of the economy and our personal home budgets. We STILL do nothing. We can't get from here to there on an airliner. Drugged up engineers are running railroad trains. Baseball heroes lie about their drug use and Congress uses them to show that they (the congress critters) are doing the people's business.
Have you taken care of your finances? Have you moved to protect what you have? When will you decide what to do with your accounts? Do you own precious metals? Is your vehicle in good shape? Do you have some extra gasoline, kerosene or diesel fuel? Do you have a good inventory of tools, rope, chain, steel cable, barbed wire, concertina wire? Do you have a big supply of NON-HYBRID seeds? Is your winter clothing the real thing or does it just look good? Do you have a good supply of firewood? Can you live off the electrical, water and phone grid? Have you plotted a first, second, third and fourth route to your retreat? What if they close the roads? Are you within one tank of gas to your destination? Can you defend yourself or your family? Do you have an RV trailer, even a smaller one, to use during reasonable weather-until you can do something else, go somewhere else or figure something else out? What food supplies do you have? Can you prepare something that is not out of a "helper" box of some kind? Can you live without refrigeration? Can you stalk game and kill it? Can you dress it out safely? Do you know where and how to fish?
Have we asked the questions of our elected leaders at all levels that need to be asked? Have you sought them out and pinned them down as to what they believe, what they vote for and what they do in your name? Have you encouraged others to do those same things? Have you agreed with people who think like you do to agree to vote only for those who are willing to sign a pact with you outlining their beliefs and their PROMISE to do what is right for this nation and her people? Will you accept that unless we do that, America is absolutely doomed to the course of destruction that has been set by world elites that care not the least for you or America? Is God a part of your life and do you acknowledge your need for Him?
Will you start using your status as a citizen with a hard agenda, right now? Will you make life miserable for the very people you elected that have made your life miserable? Will you get ready before it is too late?
Have you taken this article seriously? I have asked fifty questions to help prepare your ability to withstand what is ahead. They have gone straight to the heart of why we are on the precipice of disaster. One question remains.
Are you willing to do what you MUST, to help America back to righteous government and moral world leadership? Your refusal to be run over by a train while waving the red, white and blue flare for freedom, means we may still be able to safely stop this runaway giant-if--the crew is still in control.

"When they come, resist with all your might,Never,
EVER, surrender your weapons!"
The subject of faith is grossly misunderstood by many. The fact is, that everyone has faith. Even the atheist has faith. Faith is not confined to religious people. All faith must have an object. (something we believe in).The most important thing about faith is its
object. I demonstrate faith every time I sit in a chair, but if that chair, without my knowing it, has a broken leg, than the strength of my faith rests on the ability of the chair to hold me.
We talk about people having great faith, however, we should consider that we have a
great God who responds, regardless of the size of my faith. Who said that our faith is measureable? Jesus said it only requires faith the size of a mustared seed to remove a mountain, but we must focus on the fact that it is still God who moves the mountain and that mountain must be standing in the way of God's will being done. It makes no
difference how big your faith is. If it is contrary to God's will and God's glory your request will not be answered.. There is a fine line between faith and presumption. Faith seeks God's will, and presumption prays for my will and purposes to be accomplished.
There is only one reliable object of faith; it is God alone. He never goes back on His
promises. Sadly, people are resting their faith on something that will fail them. They resttheir eternal destinies on some thing that is factually untrue or unreliable like how they feel, their religious beliefs, or their (supposed) moral values. What are you resting your
faith in to have eternal life? Why not forsake your false securities and trust Jesus Christ alone to give you eternal life?
True faith and true prayer are inseparable. The big question is not when God will answer or why doesn't He answer? The most important thing is How He Answers. When we pray, it usually is with some expectation. God does not answer that way and when we discover how He answers we receive peace. The question often asked is "does God
answer the prayers of the unsaved?"Why not? He is God. Sometimes those prayers result in salvation. Many times when God answers those emergency prayers He is forgotten and ignored until the next emergency.
First let's define what prayer is. G.Campbell morgan offered an intersting definition as: "A wishing forward." Based on that ,I would like to expand and offer one of my own. "Prayer is the inner compulsion that cries out to the God Who Is There." It bothers
me when people use the cliche" you're in our prayers." Whatever does that mean from people we know never pray and who live lives of corruption? In Romans chapter 8, we are told that for the believer, there exists the presence of the indwelling Holy Spirit who prays with inner groanings to God and He prays according to the will of God and according to our true need. True prayer can only take place because of the indwelling Spirit.
I can recall many times in my life when I prayed and God answered in an entirely different way than I expected. Because God does not give me the answer right away, when I think I need it, it doesn't mean that the answer is no. It means rather to perservere because faith is strengthened through difficulty. When I pray in the will of God it will be answererd (I John 5: 14,15). It will be answered in such a way that your response will be," I couldn't imagine how God's way, God's timing and God's provision could be so perfect."
If you are not a Christian and have experienced God's answer to prayer,Why not decide to become a faithful follower out of gratitude? If you are a Christian, make
restitution when necessary, keep your relationship to Christ clean, and trust Him to turn your trial into a blessing to His Honor.

Michael Reisig is a local author of several books about the 'end of times'.
You can find his books at: <http://www.michael-reisig.com/>
www.michael-reisig.com or <http://www.amazon.com/> www.amazon.com.
He is also the editor of our paper The Polk County Pulse in Mena,
Arkansas where he wrote this article. I have heard some of these things before
about Obama but Michael put a different angle on it. A little long, but a good read.
This was in the paper on February 20, 2008..
President Obama. By Michael Reisig Well, having observed the progress of
the Democrat and Republican Primaries I would have to say at this point,
America is probably close to electing Barak Hussein Obama as its next president.
I understand the need for change - but for all my observation of Obama I
have yet to hear any decisive, detailed plans - it all seems to be continual
rhetoric on the concept of change. It's all rather a puzzlement to me,
and more than anything I think this phenomena is representative of the new
Survivor/ Oprah Winfrey/ American Idol consciousness (where the bizarre
is applauded as reality and image is more important than substance), and it
is undoubtedly brought about by the overwhelming dissatisfaction Americans
have for a government that has cheated, lied and stolen from them for at
least the last two generations. But for minorities, and in particular blacks,
this election represents a moment of long-awaited validation. There is no
question that the election of an African-American president will empower
the blacks of this country. Don't misunderstand me - this is not a racist
statement, this is just a fact, and in many respects this could be a
good thing. But there is no denying the sense of audacious rebellion that
constantly simmers in much of the black community, particularly with the
youth of the large metropolitan areas. I have some concern that the
election of a black president will take us back to a consciousness that
promotes the power of race over intelligence, reason, and the value of
law, and that this may divide black and whites more than uniting them. I
hope that I'm wrong. Obama speaks a lot about a uniting of black and white
America, but the church he has attended for years would contradict that.
Although you won't hear much of this on national television, one has but
to go to Obama's church of choice, Trinity United Church of Christ (go to
the website to check for yourself) to find, and I quote, "An unabashedly
black congregation with a non-negotiable commitment to Africa. "An African
people, 'true to our native land, the mother continent, the cradle of
civilization." Nowhere in the website is America even mentioned. Can
you imagine if one of the other white candidates for president were a member
of a church that declared itself "unashamedly white?" What would the media
have done to them already? I was also startled by a number of the points
in Trinity United Church's 10-Point Vision: *A congregation with a
Non-negotiable Commitment to Africa. *A congregation committed to
Cultural Education (Africa). *A congregation committed to the Historical
Education of African People in Diaspora. *A congregation committed to Liberation. *A
congregation committed to Restoration. (Could this mean restitution?)
In addition, Trinity's senior pastor Dr. Jeremiah A. Wright, Jr., is
considered by many to be a black racist, who, without question, preaches
radical Afro-centric theology. It appears, by affiliation, that we have
a man who wants to be president of America while much of his loyalty is
invested in black Africa. But there is also a deeper, perhaps darker
consequence in terms of America and its multi-national population when
we consider Mr. Obama as our new leader. Investigations have shown that
Obama's father and stepfather were devout Islamics. Both faithfully practiced
their religion. His stepfather, who had a much greater impact on Obama's
upbringing, was a radical Wahabbi Muslim. Obama's mother married Lolo
Soetoro, a Wahabbi extremist who lived in Indonesia. When Obama's
mother moved to Indonesia - before she married her second Muslim husband - she
enrolled her son in Francis Assisis Catholic School. He was enrolled as
a Muslim because he was a Muslim. Obama's campaign website has been hailed
as a testament to the candidate's transformative politics. But at least
part of the senator's online outreach, "Muslim Americans for Obama '08"
proposes installing Muslim prayer areas in public places and giving Muslims time
off for prayer, and has denounced Obama's colleagues in the U.S. Senate who
happen to be Jewish. Further troubling are the issues and solutions on
3. Make the 2 Eid's (Muslim festivals), recognized National Holidays on Calendars with days off from work.
policy affecting majority Muslim Countries. I have to wonder how many
encampments of Islamic extremists hidden in the hills of Afghanistan and quiet room
of Baghdad and Tehran listen to the news of America's primary elections
with unadulterated glee, considering first, that we may have a president who
has virtually no experience in managing a government, or attending to
military/international affairs, and secondly; the chance (as remote as it is) of
a quasi-Muslim president of the United States. Think of the possibilities.
I have sent this is almost everyone I know. If you agree with this, I
hope you will do the same, or at least make sure you vote. It really scares
me to think of Obama being president.
Its time we as Christians stand up and let our voices be heard. Let's
stop being the silent majority!

Are We Headed For Jericho?
By Chuck Baldwin
March 28, 2008
A friend recently turned me on to the CBS television series, Jericho. I watch so little network television that I confess to never having seen the show before this week. Obviously, then, I am quite uninformed as to the overall plot and previous episodes. What I saw Tuesday evening, however, stunned me. Why? Because it very aptly depicted what could become a very real-life scenario for these United States in the not-so-distant future.
If I accurately picked up the basic plot of the show, average,
freedom-loving citizens in the Western U.S. are fighting against
tyrannical elements of their own government, including military
forces. The State of Texas has declared its independence from the corrupt new government and another civil war is breaking out in
America. And all this was predicated upon a nuclear attack, which some believed was an inside job. Am I close?
Contributing further to my amazement was the way Jericho used
real-life political events to depict America's fall into tyranny. I
was flabbergasted to see the characters of Jericho refer to the
Continuity of Government act as the foundation for the government's declaration of martial law after the nuclear attack had occurred.
Ladies and gentlemen, the Continuity of Government (COG) act is not television make-believe: it is the real deal.
To read up on COG, go to Wikipedia's entry at
In addition, I have reported the potential problems associated with
COG in this column.
Here is a quote from the Wikipedia entry: "The George W. Bush
administration put the Continuity of Operations plan into effect for
the first time directly following the September 11, 2001 attacks.
Their implementation involves a rotating staff of 75 to 150 senior
officials and other government workers from every Cabinet department and other parts of the executive branch in two secure bunkers on the East Coast . . . .
"The Bush Administration officially admitted the implementation of the plan on March 1, 2002. Key congressional leaders say they didn't know this government-in-waiting had been established.
"On July 18, 2007 Rep. Peter DeFazio, D-Ore., a member of the U. S. House Committee on Homeland Security, was denied access to the classified version of the continuity of government plan. Though
members can access classified information, this is the first time
documents have been denied."
As I wrote on January 12, 2007, "In a nutshell, proponents of COG
envision a terrorist attack that would precipitate the suspension of
the U.S. Constitution. Specifically, COG would authorize Congress to appoint its own members, including those in state legislatures,
without a vote of the people. COG even envisions the enactment of such authority for reasons of 'incapacitation' (whatever that is) even if no emergency exists."
Noted author, Dr. Jerome Corsi, wrote this of Bush's enactment of COG, "Translated into layman's terms, when the president determines a national emergency has occurred, the president can declare to the office of the presidency powers usually assumed by dictators to direct any and all government and business activities until the emergency is declared over."
Contrary to the ranting of politicians and media talking heads about how great things are going in these United States, millions of
Americans are becoming increasingly aware of the total corruption,
crookedness, and chicanery of government officials. They have had it with being lied to, cheated, and beaten down with thousands of rules, regulations, and laws, which serve only to empower the political and business elite. They do not trust any of their politicians to tell them the truth. Their money and jobs are disappearing; their children are being brainwashed in government schools; their homes and property are being taxed out of existence; and even their country's very sovereignty is being forfeited to foreign interests. I believe the level of frustration and anger is rising to the point that a Jericho scenario could very easily occur.
I personally believe there are only three reasons why we are not
already living the Jericho experience. One, people have been quite comfortable in their own personal lifestyles. They have enjoyed
comfortable homes, nice automobiles, fine clothes, and pleasure-filled vacations. Who in their right mind wants to give up the tranquility of hearth and home? Two, most of America still rests upon a Christian foundation. As such, Americans believe in peace and harmony. They believe in law and order. They believe in submitting to authority. Three, there has not been an overt, large-scale attempt by government to confiscate the firearms of the American people. Remember, it was the Crown's attempted gun confiscation at Concord that ignited the American Revolution back in 1775.
However, the materialistic comfort of the average American is quickly fading away. People are losing their jobs, their livelihoods, their homes, and their savings. More than that, they are losing hope for a better tomorrow, and they are losing confidence in their government to honestly protect their freedoms--even their national identity.
Plus, most Christians know that there is such a thing as lawful
rebellion. Even Christ's early disciples said no to various
governments during extreme situations. And for us Americans, freedom and liberty runs deep in our veins. Many of us have not buried our Don't Tread On Me banners. We share the sentiment of Benjamin Franklin who said, "Rebellion to tyrants is obedience to God."
Furthermore, Hurricane Katrina put the American people on notice that their government is more than willing to confiscate their firearms. Plus, the forthcoming Supreme Court ruling regarding the right to keep and bear arms is likely to authorize even tighter government regulation on this fundamental right. Even more disconcerting are the reports we are hearing from soldiers coming home from Iraq and Afghanistan telling us that they are being told to prepare for orders to turn their weapons on the American people, should the President declare martial law. (I have had more than one Iraq War veteran tell me this.)
I am afraid that the CBS television series Jericho is more than
fantasy: it could be a prediction of the future. As Thomas Jefferson
said, "I tremble for my country."
A Pathway of Freedom for Others to Follow
Then the band and the captain and officers of the Jews took Jesus, and bound him,
My holy people; you can expect those things that happened to Me, to happen to you. Do you realize that at times people will take you and bind you, even against your will? I did not want these things to happen, but they happened so our Father's will could be accomplished. The binding of Me in this way, prepared Me to fulfill My purpose on earth. Without it, I would have been incomplete.
Many of you have felt bound by people, by circumstances, even by jobs and responsibilities. My holy people; these things shape you for things to come. There is nothing good about them, in themselves. This is uncomfortable, even humiliating. Without these things, however, you will not be complete. Through the bonds, you will not only realize a greater freedom, but your bonds will make the way for the freedom of others.
I am calling each and every one of My holy people into a greater freedom. Some will lead the way. Some will bear humiliation and suffering, that the Father may be glorified. Do not despise what is happening in your life. It is the power of God, preparing you for greater victories, greater triumphs, greater battles. Through Me, you can do all things. Through faith in Me, you can accomplish what you could never do on your own.
Seek My Face. Call upon My Name. In the face of suffering and bonds, realize that it is I AM that is at work, in and through your life, making a pathway of freedom for others to follow.

Defining Barack Obama
We are witnessing a political phenomenon with Barack Obama of rare magnitude. His speeches have inspired millions and yet most of his followers have no idea of what he stands for except platitudes of 'change' or that he says he will be a 'uniter.' The power of speech from a charismatic person truly can be a powerful thing. Certainly Billy Graham had charisma and both his manner of speech and particularly the content changed millions. On the extreme other hand, the charisma of Adolph Hitler inspired millions and the results were catastrophic. Barack Obama certainly is no Hitler nor a Billy Graham, but for many Americans out there feeling just like a surfer who might be ecstatic and euphoric while riding a tidal wave, the real story is what happens when it hits shore.
Just some of what defines Barack Obama:
He voted against banning partial-birth abortion.
He voted No on notifying parents of minors who get out-of-state abortions.
He supports affirmative action in Colleges and Government.
In 2001, he questioned harsh penalties for drug dealing.
Says he will deal with street level drug dealing as minimum wage affair.
He admitted marijuana and cocaine use in high school and in college.
His religious convictions are very murky.
He is willing to meet with Fidel Castro, Hugo Chavez, Kim Jung Il and Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.
He has said that one of his first goals after being elected would be to have a conference with all Muslim nations.
He opposed the Patriot Act.
First bill he signed that was passed was campaign finance reform.
He voted No on prohibiting law suits against gun manufacturers.
He supports universal health-care.
He voted Yes on providing habeas corpus for Guantanamo detainees.
He supports granting driver's licenses to illegal immigrants.
He supports extending welfare to illegal immigrants.
He voted Yes on comprehensive immigration reform.
He voted Yes on allowing illegal aliens to participate in Social Security.
He wants to make the minimum wage a 'living wage'
He voted with Democratic Party 96 percent of 251 votes.
He is a big believer in the separation of church and state.
He opposed to any efforts to Privatize Social Security and instead supports increasing the amount of tax paid.
He voted No on repealing the Alternative Minimum Tax.
He voted No on repealing the 'Death' Tax.
He wants to raise the Capital Gains Tax.
He has repeatedly said the surge in Iraq has not succeeded.
He is ranked as the most liberal Senator in the Senate today, and that takes some doing.
If your political choices are consistent with Barack Obama, and you think that his positions will bring America together or make it a better place, then you will probably enjoy the ride and not forward this Email.
If you are like most Americans that, after examining what he stands for, you are truly not in line with his record, it would be prudent to get off the wave or better yet, never get on, before it comes on shore and undermines the very foundations of this great Country. We have limited time to save America , or the Supreme Court as we know it. Inaction is action.

Illinois Democratic Sen. Barack Obama gave one speech in Philadelphia this week, but he made two different presentations.
The first was an apology and attempted explanation for his 20-year relationship with a preacher, the Rev. Jeremiah Wright, who is viciously anti-American, racist and anti-Semitic and for his membership in a church which had honored Louis Farrakhan.
The second presentation was an eloquent but fundamentally inadequate speech about racism and poverty in America. It was an invitation to a national dialogue that conservatives and all Americans should accept.
A Failure of Judgment? Or a Failure of Honesty and Courage?
Sen. Obama's first presentation was very troubling. It offers two possibilities for judging his character, both of which are unsettling.
The first possibility is that Sen. Obama did not notice the racism, anti-Americanism and anti-Semitism coming from the pulpit in 20 years of attending Pastor Wright's sermons. He failed to register as troubling Pastor Wright's trip to Libya with Louis Farrakhan to see Muammar Qaddafi or the church's giving Farrakhan a lifetime achievement award.
But if this is true, it is a devastating insight into any possibility that Sen. Obama is ready to be President. How could we expect him to act with judgment and responsibility in Iran and Iraq, to pick a Supreme Court Justice or to undertake any other complex act under the pressing reality of being president when he could not notice reality in 20 years at his church.
On the other hand, if he noticed the goings on in his church but failed to act on them, what does that tell us about his honesty and his courage?
Pastor Wright Falls Short of Obama's 'Don Imus' Standard
After all, it was Sen. Obama himself who set the standard. As Boston Globe columnist Jeff Jacoby noted, "When Don Imus uttered his infamous slur on the radio last year, Obama cut him no slack. Imus should be fired, he said. 'There's nobody on my staff who would still be working for me if they made a comment like that about anybody of any ethnic group.'"
I understand this standard. When I first became speaker of the House, we hired a House historian who turned out to have written very controversial things. We asked for her resignation within 24 hours of learning what she had done.
Clearly, when it comes to Pastor Wright, Sen. Obama has fallen short of his own standard by about 20 years.
Still, the fascinating opportunity Sen. Obama offers is to begin a genuine dialogue on race and poverty in America.
The Opportunity of Our Lifetime to Engage With the Left in How to Help Every American Pursue Happiness
The sections of his speech on race and poverty were eloquent -- but they were fundamentally inaccurate and inadequate.
As such, they create a real opportunity to engage Sen. Obama in a national dialogue about why poverty exists on the Southside of Chicago, why Detroit has been a disaster and why there is so much crime in Philadelphia.
This is the best opportunity conservatives have had in our lifetime to engage a serious politician of the left on a national dialogue about how to help every American pursue happiness.
Sen. Obama's analysis in his Philadelphia speech was so filled with inaccuracies and was so inadequate in its proposed remedies that it must be responded to. However, the event could be the beginning of a major national effort to discuss how we can help poor people, poor neighborhoods and impoverished Americans.
What Would Sen. Obama Do About the Tragedy of Detroit?
In Real Change (which with your help has now entered its ninth week on the New York Times bestsellers list), I outline the disaster of Detroit, which has dropped from 1,800,000 people in 1950 to fewer than 900,000 today (the first American city to drop below one million in our history). Detroit had the highest median income of all major cities in America in 1950. Today it ranks at No. 66 out of 68 major cities in media household income.
The tragedy of Detroit can't be blamed on the decline of the auto industry alone. Grand Rapids -- another Michigan city dependent on the auto industry but one with good government -- is prospering.
African-Americans in particular have been impoverished by the bad government policies of Detroit. What would Sen. Obama do to reform the bad city government, failed public safety policies and terrible school system?
The Challenges of Racism and Poverty Won't Be Solved With the Attitudes and Policies of the Left
As speaker, I helped pass the welfare reform bill. On the 10th anniversary of the passage of welfare reform, Christine Kim and Robert Rector highlighted some of its achievements:
- During the late 1990s, employment of never-married mothers increased by nearly 50%, of single mothers who are high school dropouts by 66% and of young single mothers (ages 18 to 24) by nearly 100%;
- The child poverty rate fell, from 20.8% in 1995 to 17.8% in 2004, lifting 1.6 million children out of poverty;
- The poverty rate among black children fell from 41.5% in 1995 to 32.9% in 2004 (a stark contrast from the period 1971 to 1995 when this poverty level had not changed much);
- The poverty rate also fell from 53.1% to 39.8% for children from single-mother families;
- The once explosive growth of unwed childbearing has ended. The unwed birthrate was 7.7% in 1965 and increased about one percentage point per year for the next thirty years. Had this rate of increase been sustained, the unwed childbearing rate would have hit 41.6% by 2003, but welfare reform interrupted this process. Between 1995 and 2003, overall unwed childbearing inched upward by only 2.4 percentage points, a fourth of the pre-reform rate of increase. The black unwed childbearing rate actually fell from 69.9% in 1995 to 68.2% in 2003; and
- Welfare caseloads began to decline in earnest after 1996 and have fallen by 56% since then.
Let's Have an Honest National Dialogue About What Works and What Fails in Helping People
Today at American Solutions, we are using the Platform of the American People to help develop a series of fundamental changes designed to help poor Americans pursue happiness and achieve prosperity. We can meet the challenge of racism and poverty in America but we cannot do so with the attitudes, the policies and the institutions of the left.
My message today to all conservatives is this: We should accept Sen. Obama's invitation.
Let us have an honest national dialogue about what works and what fails in helping people.
Let us visit the sites of institutions that are failing and the sites of places where people are doing the right things and having a positive result.
Let us have the courage to challenge conservative ideas and institutions but let us also have the courage to challenge left-wing ideas and institutions.
Stay Tuned for More Analysis of Obama's Speech Next Week in a Speech at the American Enterprise Institute
Sen. Obama has opened a discussion that could be very good for America. It may turn out to be a discussion that forces him to confront the degree to which today's problems are the problems of bad government, bad regulations, bad tax policy, bad litigation policy and bad attitudes.
American playwright David Mamet has just written a remarkable essay titled "David Mamet: Why I Am No Longer a 'Brain-Dead Liberal,'" in which he explains his own confrontation with his changing views on the role of government and what works in society. Mamet writes: "What about the role of government? Well, in the abstract, coming from my time and background, I thought it was a rather good thing, but tallying up the ledger in those things which affect me and in those things I observe, I am hard-pressed to see an instance where the intervention of the government led to much beyond sorrow."
This is such a complex and important area, and Sen. Obama's speech had so many inaccuracies and false assumptions about poverty in America that I will give a speech next Thursday at the American Enterprise Institute with a more detailed analysis of these sections from Obama's speech.
In the meantime, everyone should eagerly respond to the invitation to have an honest dialogue about how to help all Americans achieve their Creator-endowed rights.

After the fastest-growing third party selects a presidential candidate in April, Americans will start hearing about a man in whom they can believe, for the simple reason that the candidate nominated by the Constitution Party really will believe the things he’ll be telling us, because he’ll be telling us what the Founding Fathers said two centuries ago.

Islam is not a religion nor is it a cult. It is a complete system.
Islam has religious, legal, political, economic and military components. The religious component is a beard for all the other components.
Islamization occurs when there are sufficient Muslims in a country to agitate for their so-called "religious rights."
When politically correct and culturally diverse societies agree to "the reasonable" Muslim demands for their "religious rights," they also get the other components under the table. Here's how it works (percentages source CIA: The World Fact Book (2007)).
As long as the Muslim population remains around 1% of any given country they will be regarded as a peace-loving minority and not as a threat to anyone. In fact, they may be featured in articles and films, stereotyped for their colorful uniqueness:United States -- Muslim 1.0%
Australia -- Muslim 1.5%
Canada -- Muslim 1.9%
China -- Muslim 1%-2%
Italy -- Muslim 1.5%
Norway -- Muslim 1.8%
At 2% and 3% they begin to proselytize from other ethnic minorities and disaffected groups with major recruiting from the jails and among street gangs:Denmark -- Muslim 2%
Germany -- Muslim 3.7%
United Kingdom -- Muslim 2.7%
Spain -- Muslim 4%
Thailand -- Muslim 4.6%
From 5% on they exercise an inordinate influence in proportion to their percentage of the population.
They will push for the introduction of halal (clean by Islamic standards) food, thereby securing food preparation jobs for Muslims. They will increase pressure on supermarket chains to feature it on their shelves -- along with threats for failure to comply. (United States).France -- Muslim 8%
Philippines -- Muslim 5%
Sweden -- Muslim 5%
Switzerland -- Muslim 4.3%
The Netherlands -- Muslim 5.5%
Trinidad & Tobago -- Muslim 5.8%
At this point, they will work to get theruling government to allow them to rule themselves under Sharia, the Islamic Law. The ultimate goal of Islam is not to convert the world but to establish Sharia law over the entire world.
When Muslims reach 10% of the population, they will increase lawlessness as a means of complaint about their conditions (Paris -- car-burnings). Any non-Muslim action that offends Islam will result in uprisings and threats (Amsterdam -- Mohammed cartoons).Guyana -- Muslim 10%
India -- Muslim 13.4%
Israel -- Muslim 16%
Kenya -- Muslim 10%
Russia -- Muslim 10-15%
After reaching 20% expect hair-trigger rioting, jihad militia formations, sporadic killings and church and synagogue burning:Ethiopia -- Muslim 32.8%
At 40% you will find widespread massacres, chronic terror attacks and ongoing militia warfare:Bosnia -- Muslim 40%
Chad -- Muslim 53.1%
Lebanon -- Muslim 59.7%
From 60% you may expect unfettered persecution of non-believers and other religions, sporadic ethnic cleansing (genocide), use of Sharia Law as a weapon and Jizya, the tax placed on infidels:Albania -- Muslim 70%
Malaysia -- Muslim 60.4%
Qatar -- Muslim 77.5%
Sudan -- Muslim 70%
After 80% expect State run ethnic cleansing and genocide:Bangladesh -- Muslim 83%
Egypt -- Muslim 90%
Gaza -- Muslim 98.7%
Indonesia -- Muslim 86.1%
Iran -- Muslim 98%
Iraq -- Muslim 97%
Jordan -- Muslim 92%
Morocco -- Muslim 98.7%
Pakistan -- Muslim 97%
Palestine -- Muslim 99%
Syria -- Muslim 90%
Tajikistan -- Muslim 90%
Turkey -- Muslim 99.8%
United Arab Emirates -- Muslim 96%
100% will usher in the peace of "Dar-es-Salaam" -- the Islamic House of Peace -- there's supposed to be peace because everybody is a Muslim:Afghanistan -- Muslim 100%
Saudi Arabia -- Muslim 100%
Somalia -- Muslim 100%
Yemen -- Muslim 99.9%
Of course, that's not the case. To satisfy their blood lust, Muslims then start killing each other for a variety of reasons.
"Before I was nine I had learned the basic canon of Arab life. It was me against my brother; me and my brother against our father; my family against my cousins and the clan; the clan against the tribe; and the tribe against the world and all of us against the infidel. -- Leon Uris, "The Haj"
It is good to remember that in many, many countries, such as France, the Muslim populations are centered around ghettos based on their ethnicity. Muslims do not integrate into the community at large. Therefore, they exercise more power than their national average would indicate.

The Glory of Easter lives on. The tomb where they laid His body is empty. The stone has been rolled away. The Son of Man has ascended and is seated at the right hand of God the Father. He will come again to judge the living and the dead. This we know. This we believe. It is to this great truth that we bear witness.
We can believe this truth. This truth is the most important of all truths. Our mission will not be completed until Jesus Himself returns and reigns in righteousness and justice. Yet we undertake this mission with a sense of that same invincible hope that inspired those who peered with amazement into an empty tomb, saw the risen Savior face to face, and then proceeded to turn their world upright. We pray that you and your family will be especially blessed this resurrection Sunday. We thank you for your prayers for us. And we say: He is Risen! He is risen indeed! Hallelujah!

My God Reigns!
"The fool has said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that does good." Psalm 14:1.
Most of us would never dream this verse could apply to us.
After all, we're believers!
We'd never say that there is no God.
Maybe we should think again.
It's true that with our mouths we would never say something like that...
-but what about with our actions?
Do we say it by sinning just a little here and there and thinking it won't matter?
Do we go to an immoral movie or have a gossip session about a servant of God?
- ignoring God's command to the contrary?
With our actions are we saying:
"There is no God!"
Psalm 14:1 connects that kind of thing to corruption.
Whether he realizes it or not...
- the more a person acts that way,
- the more corrupt he's going to become.
Don't make the foolish mistake of publicly proclaiming Jesus as your Lord,
-and then privately denying Him with one little action at a time.
Use wisdom in everything you do so that both your heart and your life shout loudly:
"My God reigns!"

"Then Job answered the Lord, and said, Behold, I am vile; what shall I answer thee? I will lay mine hand upon my mouth." (Job 40:3, 4)
It is remarkable how the saintliest of men often confess to being the worst of sinners. The patriarch Job was said by God Himself to be "a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil" (Job 1:8). Yet when Job saw God, he could only say, "Behold, I am vile."
David, "the sweet psalmist of Israel" (2 Samuel 23:1), and "a man after |God's| own heart" (1 Samuel 13:14), said: "Behold, I was shapen in iniquity, and in sin did my mother conceive me" (Psalm 51:5). Isaiah, the greatest of the prophets, testified when he came into God's presence: "Woe is me! for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips" (Isaiah 6:5).
The angel recognized Daniel the prophet as "a man greatly beloved" by God (Daniel 10:11). Yet when Daniel saw God, he fell on his face, and said: "My comeliness was turned in me into corruption, and I retained no strength" (Daniel 10:8).
In the New Testament, the Apostle Peter said: "I am a sinful man, O Lord" (Luke 5:8), and Paul called himself the chief of sinners (1 Timothy 1:15). God dwells "in the light which no man can approach unto" (1 Timothy 6:16).
The closer one comes to the Lord, the more clearly one sees his own sinfulness and the more wonderful becomes God's amazing grace. No one who is satisfied with his or her own state of holiness has yet come to know the Lord in His state of holiness! None dare face the Lord except by His grace, through the mediator, Jesus Christ.

"|God| spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly; And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly." (2 Peter 2:5, 6)
These two verses speak graphically of two different kinds of terrible physical convulsions, both of which were divine judgments. The volcanic upheaval that sent fire from heaven pouring over the wicked cities of the plains was called an "overthrow" (Greek katastrophe, from which, obviously, we get our English word "catastrophe"). Great upheavals such as volcanic eruptions, earthquakes, and hurricanes are rightly called catastrophes.
But such events are only local or regional in extent, and occur relatively often. There was one event, however, which was unique in all history. When God brought the "flood" upon the ungodly antediluvian world, the word used to describe it was the Greek kataklusmos, and this word is never applied in Scripture to any event except the terrible Genesis flood, when "the world that then was, being overflowed |Greek, katakluzo| with water, perished" (2 Peter 3:6). From these Greek words we derive the English word "cataclysm".
There was never any flood like this flood! It covered all the world’s mountains, and everything on the land died, leaving great fossil deposits and great beds of lithified sediments all over the world.
There has been only one worldwide cataclysm in the past, but another is coming global fire instead of global water. Jesus said, "For as in the days that were before the flood they knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. (Matthew 24:38, 39).

...AND THE PULPITS ARE SILENT
By Coach Dave Daubenmire
March 6, 2008
For among my people are found wicked men: they lay wait, as he that setteth snares; they set a trap, they catch men. As a cage is full of birds, so are their houses full of deceit: therefore they are become great, and waxen rich. They are waxen fat, they shine: yea, they overpass the deeds of the wicked: they judge not the cause, the cause of the fatherless, yet they prosper; and the right of the needy do they not judge. Shall I not visit for these things? saith the LORD: shall not my soul be avenged on such a nation as this? Jeremiah 5:26-31
Despite what the political parties would like you to believe, the problem in America is not the politicians, it is the pulpits. I hate to break the news to you, but most of America’s pulpits are filled with cowardly men. They are a shame to the Christ they claim to serve.
Harsh words, aren’t they? Not the type of thing that will make any friends in this “cheap-Grace” culture in which we live. But that’s okay. I’m not looking to make friends.
I am about fed-up with what I see. How did we ever get such man-pleasing leaders? All that our fore-fathers held dear is being destroyed before our very eyes and hardly a peep from the pulpit. They don’t want to hear it. It's the pulpiteers that I am talking about. They are concerned with being too harsh, they tell me that “Jesus is in control,” that they are not “called” to fight evil and that "we should pray for our enemies.”
Where have these guys come from? What we need is a return of the Voice of God thundering through the prophets standing in America’s pulpits. Not the prissy Purpose Driven drivel passing as the Gospel today. The feminized-preachers of today cannot hold a candle to those who ushered in The Great Awakening which led to the American Revolution, and the abolition of slavery -- two world-changing events spearheaded by the pulpit.
Listen to the message of America’s premiere preachers today. Rick Warren and his Purpose Driven Life have infiltrated the Church. Over 400,000 pastors have attended his conferences and over 40 million of his books have been sold. Wikipedia tells us “Since September 2002, over 30,000 congregations, corporations, and sports teams across the United States have participated in a "40 Days of Purpose" emphasis. A May 2005 survey of American pastors and ministers conducted by George Barna asked Christian leaders to identify what books were the most influential on their lives and ministries." The Purpose Driven Life was the most frequent response. Today’s Christians are more familiar with the words of Warren than the Words of Jesus. Thousands of America’s churches have used it in their Bible Studies and thousands of preachers preach Warren’s message.
Joel Osteen was voted Most Influential Christian in 2006. His preaching style focuses on “the goodness of God rather than sin.” He is a self-described “Life-coach” and “thinks that there are probably others better qualified, or more gifted for explaining Bible verses. Osteen explains that he tries to teach Biblical principles in a simple way, emphasizing the power of love and a positive attitude.” Wikipedia. “Presently, Osteen and several Lakewood Church team members travel across the nation, presenting programs in large stadiums to a paying public.” He has sold millions of books to millions of feel-good Christians. Watch this.
While our nation is killing babies, our schools are indoctrinating Christian-kids in Secular Humanism, and “Truth has fallen in the streets,” our preachers are attending church-growth seminars, using ‘self-help” books to supplement the Bible, and chasing after the butts and bucks. They are fiddling while the nation burns, building their church rather than Christ’s Kingdom.
