A Line In The Sand

This line in the sand for freedom is separating people in a major way. And this is not necessarily a bad thing. In the same way that God commanded Abram to separate from his home and kin, so, too, the Spirit of God is separating people many times from their friends, their neighbors, their kinfolk, and, yes, their church families. I seem to recall that during the period of the early church, the conflict of principle forever separated the apostles Paul and Silas. And during America’s War for Independence, the conflict of principle separated Benjamin Franklin and his son William–as it did tens of thousands of others.

Perhaps not since the days of Patrick Henry, Sam Adams, et al., have Americans been forced to deal–intellectually, reasonably, emotionally, volitionally, and spiritually–with the fundamental issues of liberty as we are being forced to do today. For way too long, Americans have taken freedom for granted. For way too long, our educational and religious institutions (not to mention our homes) have not taught the fundamental principles of liberty. This negligence has brought our country to the brink of oppression and despotism. And, just as was the case in Colonial America, a line in the sand for freedom is being drawn in the hearts of men.

This internal line in the sand is being drawn irrespective of a person’s education, temperament, upbringing, intelligence, or faith. While some men seem to be content to live under the heel of governmental oppression, many others have an innate thirst for freedom that all of the armies in the world cannot quench.
In truth, the thirst for freedom is part of Natural Law. A horse is not broken without a fight; a tiger or lion will pace its cage as long as it can walk looking for an avenue of escape; a bird will fly around its cage ten thousand times looking for an opening to return to the sky. Yes, animals can be broken–and so can be some men, unfortunately. But the innate desire for freedom is born in the soul of every man.

However, the desire for comfort, ease, and material pleasure is a handsome tempter that many people find more attractive than the harsh and weather-torn face of liberty. Plus, the further liberty slips out of view, the more vague the memory of it becomes. And before we realize it, the face of liberty is only seen in the irrelevant relics of the songs and statues of history. But it is exactly at this point that the Spirit of God begins to renew in the hearts of men the Natural thirst for liberty. And that is precisely what is happening now.

A Humble Beginning

He did not wait for a castle. He didn’t hold out for a perfected people. He came when we least expected Him…when all He could be offered was a humble greeting and abode.

And so, it is appropriate this day that we hear the angel’s greeting: "Do not be afraid." Do not be afraid that the abode of your heart is not a castle, that you are not a perfect person, that you are in fact a sinner most in need of forgiveness.

You see, it is not a problem for Jesus to come and dwell among the poor, the sinful, the wretched. Why do we always think that we must be holy and perfect before He will even so much as glance our way? It is not true...Christmas tells us differently.

Jesus desires to come to you now, as you are, even in your sinfulness. He can do this because He is Love itself. But it is also true that He desires to make you holy and perfect. Not for His sake, but for your own. The more holy you are, the happier you will be. And He wishes to do this for you because He is Love itself.

And so this day, open your heart to this gentle Child. Let nothing...no fear, no failure, no sin...stop you from welcoming Him into the humble and poor manager that is your heart. Because He is Love itself, He will love you, cleanse you, and heal you. He wishes, in fact, to transform you into love itself. That is His gift to you.

Come to Him with a humble beginning.

It's Still The Cross

Jesus did not seem to let the fact that He was despised and rejected bother Him.He certainly did not complain about it. I am sure He felt intense pain, just as you and I do when we are rejected, but He did not allow it to prevent Him from fulfilling His purpose.

If condemnation is filling our consciences, it is not from God, He sent Jesus to die for us to pay the price for our sins. Jesus bore our sin and the guilty condemnation that accompies sin. We should get rid of the sin and not keep the guilt. Once God breaks the yoke of sin from us, He removes the guilt too. 

We are free in our trust in God. When He saves us...we are Free!

All That Is Left...

Jim Quinn discusses the fourth turning, a cyclical event in which we currently find ourselves – like it or not. In his recent article Twenty-First Century Breakdown Quinn walks us through the previous Saeculums, periods comprised of 80 – 100 years, and demonstrates how we are now in the fourth, or final, phase of the current Saeculum – the Crisis.
There is no way to avoid this Crisis. It can’t be bypassed. Just as the seasons must progress from Spring to Summer through Fall and into Winter, a Crisis must follow an Unraveling. History does not have a rewind button. Secular Winter has arrived and the country couldn’t be less prepared for the challenges ahead. The government and the governed enter this highly dangerous period weakened and fragile. The short-sighted economic choices and deferred fiscal decisions will collide with peak oil and uncontrolled globalization to inflict a horrific resolution to this Crisis. The gravity of our situation cannot be overstated. As politicians and the mainstream media play pretend games of recovery and false optimism, the country hurtles closer to the abyss. The country had a chance to prepare for this Winter by:
  • Forging consensus regarding the problems we face.
  • Preparing our governmental institutions for the challenges ahead.
  • Political leaders bluntly describing the issues before us, stressing duties over rights.
  • Developing community teamwork to solve local problems.
  • Treating our youth as a national priority.
  • Preparing elders for the sacrifices and unfulfilled promises in their future.
  • Reducing government and personal debt.
  • Conserve military resources for the long road ahead.
You may have noticed that as a country we not only did not prepare for Winter, we proceeded like it would never come. No leader has emerged to bluntly speak the truth to the American people. Culture wars still rage. Government has expanded and our military has been depleted in useless wars of choice. All that is left is for individuals to prepare their families for the immense challenges ahead.

Whether cycles are real or not is a hotly debated concept. Our personal view is that cyclical events are everywhere, from the birth-to-death cycle of human life to the 26,000 year galactic alignment, we can see cyclical events everywhere in nature.
And, because our economies and political systems are man-made, we would suggest that they, too, must follow natural cycles.
As Quinn points out, we have gotten to a point where most of those who have the power to make the necessary changes have refused to do so, either because they are ignorant of the facts or are ignoring the signs altogether.
This leaves us with one option, which is essentially to prepare ourselves, as individuals, families and close community units, to weather the coming storm.
Remember that this is a cyclical event which may very well last two decades or more. We’re talking much more than just storing freeze-dried food, ammo and gas. To prepare for an event like this requires a different kind of mindset – one of sustainability and self reliance that will require a dynamic approach to a variety of problems.
While we recommend to our readers that they should be prepared for an array of potential disaster scenarios, the only way to mitigate a crisis of this magnitude, one that lasts many years, is to develop skills that will allow you to be more self reliant in terms of income generation, food procurement, and energy production.
It’s time to get back to our rugged American roots and start doing for ourselves instead of holding out our hands looking for freebies from a broke government support system.

"Woe" To Judgement

Over the past week or so I have been reading the Book of Isaiah. To be honest I am blown away at the similarities mentioned about Israel and then looking at modern day America. I do believe that when people or nations turn their backs on God, the laws of nature & God's Law, comes into play. I believe that God has a “template to judge a nation” with which He uses.

I am one who also firmly believes that our nation was brought about by divine providence. King James, the very same king who put his name to the only Authorized Version of the bible, also sent people to "the new world" to spread the Gospel and claim the land for God in the name of His Son, Jesus Christ. This is the basic tenant of the James Town Charter claiming America for His Glory. We are not God's chosen people and in no way do we replace Israel, but I believe we have a special place in God's plan and because we have remained a Christian nation up until about 40 years ago, God has blessed us immensely.

As a nation we have made some really bad mistakes and choices, but we have "repented" in our past and came out on the other side stronger and corrected our failures and mistakes. At the base of the Statue of Liberty it states, "Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free" We are a nation built upon the principles of God and His Word. But somewhere on this journey, our great republic strayed and instead of being good, we have chosen the path of evil.

I look around at what is taking place here in the US as well as globally and I see man working towards his own demise through the pleasures of the world and of the flesh. Instead of exporting the Gospel, we export pornography. Instead of saving the innocent, we kill millions of our children through abortion. Instead of standing for God, we work to eradicate His existence from our lives, our monuments and our schools. Instead of the holy matrimony between husband and wife we have sodomites, pedophiles, hedonism, practitioners of bestiality, all becoming the norm. Instead of caring for our fellow man, we have allowed greed and selfishness to replace compassion. The natural affection of man is gone. Brutality is its replacement. Corporate greed and the serving of mammon today has become a norm.

But that is not all. It seems that which gender one is having sex with is now more important in the halls of congress than the wholesomeness and protecting the family unit. We care more for this world and justify its shallow perspectives more than the things of God and His 'eternal' perspective. Do you know that there is an epidemic of teachers accused or convicted of having sex with their students, hundreds of them, mostly female? Has this come to the forefront of national and international news in recent years? No. Isaiah 5:20 says, "Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! Isaiah 5:23, says, "Which justify the wicked for reward, and take away the righteousness of the righteous from him."

I read many articles where so many of these child predators are just given a slap on the wrist. Where liberal judges reward the evils and yet lock up those who are righteous. A prime example of this is the two border guard agents who spent time in jail for doing their job and yet a drug smuggler is on the loose coming and going in and out of our country.

Sins of the flesh are being taken to a new high. At a past Sundance Film Festival not only did we have a movie where the main highlight was the raping of a 12 year old girl, which was done all in the name of “ART.”  But get this… There was also a film called “Zoo,” the primarily focus of the film was sex with animals. Leviticus 18:23 says, "Neither shalt thou lie with any beast to defile thyself therewith: neither shall any woman stand before a beast to lie down thereto: it is confusion."

But that is not all. More and more television shows are portraying homosexuality in a very positive light. Showtime was touting their hot show “ The “L” Word” It is a show that glorifies and is about life as a lesbian. Romans 1:26 says, "For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature."

And now, look at us as a nation...We have allowed a POTUS that is an usurper, vile, proud, and taunts his own homosexuality. We've viewed the photos and stories of his drug use, tolerated his lack of "experience" and have become "fearful" of standing on our Oath to the Constitution, for what? Our own greed and selfishness? Towing the "party" line? Believing in "tolerance" to accept what is vile before God's eyes?

Does "Babylon has fallen" ring a bell? If it hasn't, then YOU are also the problem. Using words like Barack Obama has done in this link, as the "headline" in today's news.....it is past time to humble thy selves as a nation. The destruction hasn't even reached it's peak....hold on because it's going to be a destructive, deadly ride.

A Thanksgiving "Goodwill"

Thanksgiving is a day of gratitude and thankfulness for all the blessings we have enjoyed this year. It has been a tough year for many of us in many arenas, and we will be remiss to not add a prayer of goodwill for all who are suffering, experiencing loss, and in need a bountiful harvest. Please think of our friends and family who are away, our troops, the sick, the destitute, others who are alone during this time of celebration, and send them a heartfelt prayer or goodwill thought.

I would like to also use this special occasion to say a huge Thank You to my readers, all who stop by to comment or just read this blog, my fellow bloggers, my friends on the various social media communities, activism related colleagues, friends online and off, family and more…

Store Up Those Warehouses!

Are you deeply concerned about the future of America? Is something in your gut telling you that our system is fundamentally broken and that the mainstream media and our Government is not telling you the truth about what is happening?

Right now, there are millions upon millions of Americans that are absolutely horrified as they watch this nation deteriorate. There is more anger, frustration, hatred and division in the United States today than there has been in decades, and there is very little hope that the great storms that are looming on the horizon will be averted.

Those that are wise are preparing for what is coming. Those that are not are going to be absolutely blindsided by what is rapidly approaching. America is drowning in the biggest ocean of red ink in the history of the planet and the middle class is being systematically destroyed. As of now there are certain factors that are going to cause the problems of the middle class to greatly accelerate.

This Christmas, let me remind you, it's not the big screen TV's or latest technology that will feed you. Many don't even have the extra funds to buy gifts for loved ones. Let that not depress you, for the gift that is most important to give is the gift of sharing in our Lord's Reign and His provisions of  "storing up your warehouses"...as the Lord said, "occupy, until I come."

We must open our eyes to the tragedies on the horizon and prepare for hard times. If you have true faith, you know the Lord will provide and I encourage you to remember your loved ones this Thanksgiving and Christmas that the belief in our God is real and He will provide to those that hold that faith in Him and "Occupy." The greatest gift you can give is the gift of the knowledge of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. So, store up those warehouses!

May I stand firm in the truth of Your Word
So I will not be a victim of Satan’s lies.
I put on the Breastplate of Righteousness!

The Saint Must Walk Alone

Most of the world's great souls have been lonely. Loneliness seems to be one price the saint must pay for his saintliness.
In the morning of the world (or should we say, in that strange darkness that came soon after the dawn of man's creation), that pious soul, Enoch, walked with God and was not, for God took him; and while it is not stated in so many words, a fair inference is that Enoch walked a path quite apart from his contemporaries.
Another lonely man was Noah who, of all the antediluvians, found grace in the sight of God; and every shred of evidence points to the aloneness of his life even while surrounded by his people.
Again, Abraham had Sarah and Lot, as well as many servants and herdsmen, but who can read his story and the apostolic comment upon it without sensing instantly that he was a man "whose soul was alike a star and dwelt apart"? As far as we know not one word did God ever speak to him in the company of men. Face down he communed with his God, and the innate dignity of the man forbade that he assume this posture in the presence of others. How sweet and solemn was the scene that night of the sacrifice when he saw the lamps of fire moving between the pieces of offering. There, alone with a horror of great darkness upon him, he heard the voice of God and knew that he was a man marked for divine favor.
Moses also was a man apart. While yet attached to the court of Pharaoh he took long walks alone, and during one of these walks while far removed from the crowds he saw an Egyptian and a Hebrew fighting and came to the rescue of his countryman. After the resultant break with Egypt he dwelt in almost complete seclusion in the desert. There, while he watched his sheep alone, the wonder of the burning bush appeared to him, and later on the peak of Sinai he crouched alone to gaze in fascinated awe at the Presence, partly hidden, partly disclosed, within the cloud and fire.

The prophets of pre-Christian times differed widely from each other, but one mark they bore in common was their enforced loneliness. They loved their people and gloried in the religion of the fathers, but their loyalty to the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, and their zeal for the welfare of the nation of Israel drove them away from the crowd and into long periods of heaviness. "I am become a stranger unto my brethren, and an alien unto my mother's children," cried one and unwittingly spoke for all the rest.
Most revealing of all is the sight of that One of whom Moses and all the prophets did write, treading His lonely way to the cross. His deep loneliness was unrelieved by the presence of the multitudes.
He died alone in the darkness hidden from the sight of mortal man and no one saw Him when He arose triumphant and walked out of the tomb, though many saw Him afterward and bore witness to what they saw. There are some things too sacred for any eye but God's to look upon. The curiosity, the clamor, the well-meant but blundering effort to help can only hinder the waiting soul and make unlikely if not impossible the communication of the secret message of God to the worshiping heart.
Sometimes we react by a kind of religious reflex and repeat dutifully the proper words and phrases even though they fail to express our real feelings and lack the authenticity of personal experience. Right now is such a time. A certain conventional loyalty may lead some who hear this unfamiliar truth expressed for the first time to say brightly, "Oh, I am never lonely. Christ said, `I will never leave you nor forsake you,' and `Lo, I am with you alway.' How can I be lonely when Jesus is with me?"
Now I do not want to reflect on the sincerity of any Christian soul, but this stock testimony is too neat to be real. It is obviously what the speaker thinks should be true rather than what he has proved to be true by the test of experience. This cheerful denial of loneliness proves only that the speaker has never walked with God without the support and encouragement afforded him by society. The sense of companionship which he mistakenly attributes to the presence of Christ may and probably does arise from the presence of friendly people. Always remember: you cannot carry a cross in company. Though a man were surrounded by a vast crowd, his cross is his alone and his carrying of it marks him as a man apart. Society has turned against him; otherwise he would have no cross. No one is a friend to the man with a cross. "They all forsook Him, and fled."
The pain of loneliness arises from the constitution of our nature. God made us for each other. The desire for human companionship is completely natural and right. The loneliness of the Christian results from his walk with God in an ungodly world, a walk that must often take him away from the fellowship of good Christians as well as from that of the unregenerate world. His God-given instincts cry out for companionship with others of his kind, others who can understand his longings, his aspirations, his absorption in the love of Christ; and because within his circle of friends there are so few who share inner experiences, he is forced to walk alone. The unsatisfied longings of the prophets for human understanding caused them to cry out in their complaint, and even our Lord Himself suffered in the same way.
The man who has passed on into the divine Presence in actual inner experience will not find many who understand him. A certain amount of social fellowship will of course be his as he mingles with religious persons in the regular activities of the church, but true spiritual fellowship will be hard to find. But he should not expect things to be otherwise. After all he is a stranger and a pilgrim, and the journey he takes is not on his feet but in his heart. He walks with God in the garden of his own soul - and who but God can walk there with him? He is of another spirit from the multitudes that tread the courts of the Lord's house. He has seen that of which they have only heard, and he walks among them somewhat as Zacharias walked after his return from the altar when the people whispered, "He has seen a vision."

The truly spiritual man is indeed something of an oddity. He lives not for himself but to promote the interests of Another. He seeks to persuade people to give all to his Lord and asks no portion or share for himself. He delights not to be honored but to see his Savior glorified in the eyes of men. His joy is to see his Lord promoted and himself neglected. He finds few who care to talk about that which is the supreme object of his interest, so he is often silent and preoccupied in the midst of noisy religious shoptalk. For this he earns the reputation of being dull and overserious, so he is avoided and the gulf between him and society widens. He searches for friends upon whose garments he can detect the smell of myrrh and aloes and cassia out of the ivory palaces, and finding few or none, he, like Mary of old, keeps these things in his heart.
It is this very loneliness that throws him back upon God. "When my father and my mother forsake me, then the Lord will take me up." His inability to find human companionship drives him to seek in God what he can find nowhere else. He learns in inner solitude what he could not have learned in the crowd - that Christ is All in All, that He is made unto us wisdom, righteousness, sanctification and redemption, that in Him we have and possess life's summum bonum.

Two things remain to be said. One, that the lonely man of whom we speak is not a haughty man, nor is he the holier-than-thou, austere saint so bitterly satirized in popular literature. He is likely to feel that he is the least of all men and is sure to blame himself for his very loneliness. He wants to share his feelings with others and to open his heart to some like-minded soul who will understand him, but the spiritual climate around him does not encourage it, so he remains silent and tells his griefs to God alone.
The second thing is that the lonely saint is not the withdrawn man who hardens himself against human suffering and spends his days contemplating the heavens. Just the opposite is true. His loneliness makes him sympathetic to the approach of the brokenhearted and the fallen and the sin-bruised. Because he is detached from the world, he is all the more able to help it. Meister Eckhart taught his followers that if they should find themselves in prayer and happen to remember that a poor widow needed food, they should break off the prayer instantly and go care for the widow. "God will not suffer you to lose anything by it," he told them. "You can take up again in prayer where you left off and the Lord will make it up to you." This is typical of the great mystics and masters of the interior life from Paul to the present day.

The weakness of so many modern Christians is that they feel too much at home in the world. In their effort to achieve restful "adjustment" to unregenerate society they have lost their pilgrim character and become an essential part of the very moral order against which they are sent to protest. The world recognizes them and accepts them for what they are. And this is the saddest thing that can be said about them. They are not lonely, but neither are they saints.     

America's New Pharaoh

A few weeks ago, the local news reported the latest assault on freedom by the current administration. The daily news reveals it continues to intensify. I listened to my wife’s brokenhearted response and wrote in a matter of minutes a commentary titled “America’s New Pharaoh.” I believe God’s timeless truth provides a relevant message for everyone who loves freedom and understands that “whom the Son sets free is free indeed” (John 8:36).
I pray this can be used in a small way, even as God used Thomas Paine’s “Common Sense” to unite the strong, diverse leadership we recognize as America’s founders. They gave us the greatest freedom any nation has been blessed to experience; we must protect it for our posterity.
God has always used individuals to inspire others through their witness and concern. Please join together in getting out that which I truly believe God can use to help inspire people to stand against the forces of deception and destruction. Please, please pass this on until every freedom-loving person reads it and takes a stand against the freedom-destroying forces against us. Tweet about it. Put it on Facebook. Forward it to your newspaper, television, and radio commentaries; pastors, priests, and employers; family members, neighbors, and friends. Please do this for the sake of freedom. 

America’s Pharaoh is not a person or a political party. It is a power source other than God upon which people erroneously and foolishly depend, even begin to worship. It replaces God, exalting an unprincipled, unbiblical worldview. The advocates and supporters of this system consistently assault absolute principles while rejecting revealed truth. As a result, freedom is redefined as “everyone doing what is right in their own eyes.”
Those who disagree with America’s national leadership and, in particular, the statements, policies, and laws endorsed or enacted by the current administration are demonized in every possible way. Many who question the president’s views are branded a racist. If you don’t cave to their every demand, you are called a hostage-holder. If you insist on any adjustment or change, you may be called an assassin, holding a gun to the heads of Congress. If you support the ideal of marriage, you are chastised as a homophobe who opposes fairness and equality. If you uphold the sanctity of human life, you are characterized as opposing freedom of choice. If you allow your faith in Christ to actually mean something, impacting your words, actions, and beliefs, you are compared to Jihadists and labeled an enemy of America.
Well, I don’t agree with these negative caricatures. I refuse to accept the lame, dishonest labels some media pundits, representatives, and politicians try to put on principled Americans. I will not bow down to any idol that man may choose to laud as the all-provident source upon which people must learn to trust. There is no substitute for the true and living God—the Father and Creator of all life and the only way to freedom, both personally and nationally.
I will stand against the lies promoted and substituted for God’s eternal, unshakable truth and the only foundation upon which we can safely build our lives and futures. We are witnessing firsthand—up-close and personal—the exaltation of an idol that cannot succeed because it never has and never will. This idol is being presented as a substitute for God, who is the only real Provider, true Source, reliable Overseer, and worthy Father—The Way, The Truth, and The Life. Substitutes are not the true Father, not the Source and are certainly not the Way, the Truth, or the Life.
We are witnessing the enemy, the father of lies, attempting to overthrow God and exalt a new pharaoh, false kings, unreliable rulers, a federal monarchy, rotten policies, and terrible laws. We are now told if Congress has passed a law, it’s not to be challenged. That logic means we must bring back slavery and prohibition, which were once the law, and cancel a woman’s right to vote and all civil rights legislation because those changes were made to reject previous, bad laws. If this Senate passes it, we are now told, don’t dare challenge it.
We have awful laws and policies now being thrust—yes, forced—on the American people. They are not only unprincipled; they are unbiblical, ineffective, and unsustainable. If you believe in proven principles and dislike bad practices and proven-to-fail policies, you are now to be perceived as the enemy. Americans who pray and care deeply are not trying to bring the government down—they are trying to bring it under control.
Call me any name you wish. Put any misrepresentation or so-called “politically correct” label on me—but I am declaring America is being encouraged to believe and embrace lies…to support them, to cast aside our founders’ principles—including God’s Word and eternal truths—and submit to the bondage of an out-of-control state. The federal government and deceived representatives are forcing legislation, policies, and practices on American citizens, demanding that our tax dollars—our money, which God has trusted to our watchcare—be used to support worthless, godless, freedom-damaging policies, programs, and laws. This nonsense—this insanity—has to stop…and stop now! Americans must come to their senses and reject this idolatry. We must refuse to bow to any false god or to trust it as our source. Not Pharaoh, not Saul, not Nebuchadnezzar, not Babylon, not Rome, not emperors, not kings, not monarchies, not Washington or Uncle Sam. Only God!
Our federal government must be brought back under control to serve the people—not force us into servitude and submissive bondage. Paul told the New Testament Christians that the damaging results of Israel’s idolatry serves as an example for us and was written for our instruction.[i]  The government must once again be by the people, of the people, and for the people. It must never be presented as the all-provident God. It is not! We must vertically look up to God and horizontally reach out to one another in truth and love. This is the transforming power of the cross. Look up to God the Father in childlike trust, and reach out to our neighbors with compassionate love and meaningful assistance.
Now is the time to stand against the gates and forces of hell as faithful witnesses—ambassadors of truth—exalting God’s Word and life in His kingdom now. Refuse to stay hidden, keeping His truth only in church buildings! Become the blood-bought, born-again body of believers, the church of the living God, a shining city set on a hill that cannot and will not be hidden any longer! Failure to heed God’s invitation to live in His shadow and shelter while following the Shepherd will lead to the loss of freedom we have been blessed to know, and it will vanish from this earth. The Bible says, “The earth is the Lord’s, and the fullness thereof.”[ii] Believers must stop turning God’s planet over to the deceiver and another pharaoh. Let’s reclaim the land that was established and built on freedom’s promise.
In order to stop the slide and correct our nation’s course, all who have legitimate concerns must learn to work together in supernatural harmony, unity, and commitment. Thomas Paine is still right: “It is not in numbers but in unity that our great strength lies.”
Together, let’s join the apostle Paul, refusing to go down without a fight. Let it be said of each of us: We’ve proclaimed the Word and encouraged the truth. We’ve kept a clear mind, never fearing sacrifice or suffering because we were determined to fight a good fight, finish the course and keep the faith until the righteous one—the Judge—appears to grant His prize to all who eagerly look forward to His appearing.[iii]
I long to see God’s glory on the church so the world will see the real and living Jesus revealed clearly through us before He comes in glory for us!

Veterans Day Prayer

On June 6, 1944, President Franklin Roosevelt led the nation in prayer for men who were landing on the beaches of Normandy. I want to share Roosevelt's D-Day prayer with you. I pray America can rediscover that same courage and faith that led us to victory then.

My fellow Americans: Last night, when I spoke with you about the fall of Rome, I knew at that moment that troops of the United States and our allies were crossing the Channel in another and greater operation. It has come to pass with success thus far. 

And so, in this poignant hour, I ask you to join with me in prayer: 
Almighty God: Our sons, pride of our Nation, this day have set upon a mighty endeavor, a struggle to preserve our Republic, our religion, and our civilization, and to set free a suffering humanity. Lead them straight and true; give strength to their arms, stoutness to their hearts, steadfastness in their faith.
They will need Thy blessings. Their road will be long and hard. For the enemy is strong. He may hurl back our forces. Success may not come with rushing speed, but we shall return again and again; and we know that by Thy grace, and by the righteousness of our cause, our sons will triumph. 
They will be sore tried, by night and by day, without rest-until the victory is won. The darkness will be rent by noise and flame. Men's souls will be shaken with the violence's of war. 
For these men are lately drawn from the ways of peace. They fight not for the lust of conquest. They fight to end conquest. They fight to liberate. They fight to let justice arise, and tolerance and good will among all Thy people. They yearn but for the end of battle, for their return to the haven of home. 
Some will never return. Embrace these, Father, and receive them, Thy heroic servants, into Thy kingdom. 
And for us at home -- fathers, mothers, children, wives, sisters, and brothers of brave men overseas -- whose thoughts and prayers are ever with them -- help us, Almighty God, to rededicate ourselves in renewed faith in Thee in this hour of great sacrifice. 
Many people have urged that I call the Nation into a single day of special prayer. But because the road is long and the desire is great, I ask that our people devote themselves in a continuance of prayer. As we rise to each new day, and again when each day is spent, let words of prayer be on our lips, invoking Thy help to our efforts. 
Give us strength, too -- strength in our daily tasks, to redouble the contributions we make in the physical and the material support of our armed forces. And let our hearts be stout, to wait out the long travail, to bear sorrows that may come, to impart our courage unto our sons wheresoever they may be. 
And, O Lord, give us Faith. Give us Faith in Thee; Faith in our sons; Faith in each other; Faith in our united crusade. Let not the keenness of our spirit ever be dulled. Let not the impacts of temporary events, of temporal matters of but fleeting moment let not these deter us in our unconquerable purpose.
With Thy blessing, we shall prevail over the unholy forces of our enemy. Help us to conquer the apostles of greed and racial arrogance. Lead us to the saving of our country, and with our sister Nations into a world unity that will spell a sure peace, a peace invulnerable to the scheming of unworthy men. And a peace that will let all of men live in freedom, reaping the just rewards of their honest toil.
Thy will be done, Almighty God. Amen. 

To the millions who have always been there to stop the tyrant, protect the weak and preserve the peace -- we have not forgotten you. A grateful nation thanks God for giving us men and women like you.

"If you can induce a community to doubt the genuineness and authenticity of the Scriptures; to question the reality and obligations of religion; to hesitate, undeciding, whether there be any such thing as virtue or vice; whether there be an eternal state of retribution beyond the grave; or whether there exists any such being as God, you have broken down the barriers of moral virtue, and hoisted the flood gates of immorality and crime. Avalon-We Will Stand

 Acts 9:10 Now there was a disciple at Damascus named Ananias. The Lord said to him in a vision, “Ananias.” And he said, “Here I am, Lord.” 11 And the Lord said to him, “Rise and go to the street called Straight, and at the house of Judas look for a man of Tarsus named Saul, for behold, he is praying, 12 and he has seen in a vision a man named Ananias come in and lay his hands on him so that he might regain his sight.” 13 But Ananias answered, “Lord, I have heard from many about this man, how much evil he has done to your saints at Jerusalem. 14 And here he has authority from the chief priests to bind all who call on your name.” 15 But the Lord said to him, “Go, for he is a chosen instrument of mine to carry my name before the Gentiles and kings and the children of Israel. 16 For I will show him how much he must suffer for the sake of my name.” 17 So Ananias departed and entered the house. And laying his hands on him he said, “Brother Saul, the Lord Jesus who appeared to you on the road by which you came has sent me so that you may regain your sight and be filled with the Holy Spirit.” 18 And immediately something like scales fell from his eyes, and he regained his sight. Then he rose and was baptized; 19 and taking food, he was strengthened.

To my brothers on the left and my sisters on the right. To my sisters on the left and my brothers on the right...Come with me and let us stand together.We are all on this road called "Life" together.

God can use the even the most unexpected people in extraordinary ways to further His kingdom purposes. Is there someone in your life who seems so far away from God that he or she will never become a believer? Be encouraged and encourage each other. God's transforming power can bring us together to make the change that is needed in our lives.

I pray for the unsaved people in our world to take my hand, and together, we will stand!

You Need All Of Me

Ephesians 3:14 For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, 15 Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, 16 That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; 17 That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, 18 May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; 19 And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.

My holy people; don't you know what I am doing? Don't you know what I am preparing? Don't you know what is happening at this time?

Many would try to characterize the moving of My Spirit as one thing or another. True, in times past I have emphasized water, fire, oil and other manifestations and giftings. However at this time I am pressing on to better things. Much better things. For the things of the past were merely introductions to what I am doing at this time.

Let Me usher you into a fuller knowledge of My Great love and as you begin to grasp the many faceted dimensions of My love, you will also be filled with all of Me. Isn't it clear by now ... you do not need just a particular part of Me ... you need all of Me.

Prepare your hearts, make room in your hearts for more of Me, for at this time I am filling those who will come with all the fullness of Me. All the fullness; do you understand that? I am not wanting to show you just one aspect of My love, not just one aspect of My anointing or giftings, but I want to show you all of Me and fill you with all of Me, so you can go into all the world and demonstrate all of Me to those I send you to.

Look for My lingering presence in times alone. You don't have to hype yourself up, but it is time to really enter into what Holy Spirit is offering at this time. I am offering this to whosoever will receive. Take time to receive. Don't beg, don't wail and cry, don't pray with endless words and pleas and don't work at it. No, it is time to enter into My Presence and receive.

Do you really understand the depths of God's love for you? We need to understand the width and length and depth and height of God's love for us, and that we will become rooted and grounded in that boundless love.

Ask God to reveal to you more and more of His love and to expand your capacity to receive this awesome love and fullness of God.

Bold As A Lion

Proverbs 28:1 The wicked flee when no man pursueth" but the righteous are bold as a lion. 2 For the transgression of a land many are the princes thereof: but by a man of understanding and knowledge the state thereof shall be prolonged.A poor man that oppresses the poor is like a sweeping rain which leaveth no food.They that forsake the law praise the wicked: but such as keep the law contend with them.Evil men understand not judgment: but they that seek the Lord understand all things.Better is the poor that walketh in his uprightness, than he that is perverse in his ways, though he be rich.Whoso keepeth the law is a wise son: but he that is a companion of riotous men shameth his fatherHe that by usury and unjust gain increaseth his substance, he shall gather it for him that will pity the poor.He that turneth away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer shall be abomination. 10 Whoso causeth the righteous to go astray in an evil way, he shall fall himself into his own pit: but the upright shall have good things in possession.

The Dead Horse Theory

The tribal wisdom of the Plains Indians, passed on from generation to generation, says that: "When you discover that you are riding a dead horse, the best strategy is to dismount."

However, in government more advanced strategies are often employed, such as:

1. Buying a stronger whip.
2. Changing riders.
3. Appointing a committee to study the horse.
4. Arranging to visit other countries to see how other cultures ride dead horses.
5. Lowering the standards so that dead horses can be included.
6. Reclassifying the dead horse as living-impaired.
7. Hiring outside contractors to ride the dead horse.
8. Harnessing several dead horses together to increase speed.
9. Providing additional funding and/or training to increase the dead horse's performance.
10. Doing a productivity study to see if lighter riders would improve the dead horse's performance.
11. Declaring that as the dead horse does not have to be fed, it is less costly, carries lower overhead and therefore contributes substantially more to the bottom line of the economy than do some other horses.
12. Rewriting the expected performance requirements for all horses.
And, of course...
13. Promoting the dead horse to a supervisory position.

All the above are logical reasons why we still have a Senate/Congress.

Gulag Earth

It's the Federal Government, Stupid! Step out of your little-local box. It's an Internet Reformation Revolution!

Every part of the modern system, from politics, to education, to business, to justice has been carefully crafted to fit together like an intricate jigsaw puzzle, each piece supporting the next. It is only when you step back and survey the whole at special times in history – and this era of the Internet is one such – that you can visualize the whole and appreciate the extraordinary and energetic mendacity of its power-elite builders.

Nation-states, patriotism, wars "on terror," money "printed from nothing," religious beliefs diverted to create more social tension, gender and income disparities utilized for the same purposes. Common Core, Smart Meters, Sustainable Living, Affordable Housing...all of it UN Agenda 21. UN mandated gun control, the Military Industrial Complex with endless wars and R2P. I can go on and on ... the web of control is mind-numbingly vast and intricate.

Divide-and-conquer is the strategy. And yet, it is perhaps coming to an end ... or at least evolving. The Internet Reformation is changing the narratives "on the ground." Too many have been exposed. Too much manipulation has been internalized. The system is surely broken. Western dysfunction is no accident, nor is the rise of the alternative media and alternative political movements including the Tea Party. And while the system to some degree has been broken deliberately by the very elites that put it in place, they may have forgotten it is easier to create chaos than to contain it, especially in this modern era.

What just happened in Washington DC is no aberration. For those with the courage to understand and the intelligence to internalize, these times offer tremendous risks and inordinate rewards. A great game is afoot and nowhere near ending...What has been hidden, has now been exposed. It's time t face the music....

Unless this is understood, one will be baffled by what is transpiring during political disputes such as those that permeate current politics. Each side will declare the others motives devious, a matter of ill will, etc. Opposing parties will be demonized and one side will not listen to the arguments of the other since argument assumes the possibility of a rational outcome.

Far too many people listed to "hope" and "change" messages, then reacted as if looking in a mirror, feeling "Obama agrees with/cares about/understands me" without one shred of objective proof.The unfortunate  acceptance by the general culture has resulted in an aimless wandering by the citizenry, who don't seem to have a clue about what is going on or why things are they way they are.

It's time to have a national referendum as opposed to a Muslin President deciding for us. And let the outcome be the end of it. The worse that can happen then is we will be force to live with the shortcomings of democracy when the peoples lack of self responsibility rule. Voter ID, substance abuse, education, etc should be a tested passage for the Election process and voting. Morality, criminality, radicalism, etc should be a tested passage to hold an Office.

So, its in this time of beautiful chaos that the elites consolidate their power. They will write a check to fuel the tanks if needed, they can find 500,000 people that's all they need to fight a war, with the kinds of weapons the US has built. 170 plus yrs. the US has been the military muscle of the elites. The problem with chaos is it is chaos, and things can and do go wrong which the elites cannot control. The issues for them are, "will they get all they want in one fell swoop or take a little now and work on the rest of their agenda later?" and that's where the Internet Reformation is a problem for them, information knowledge hurts them. The more people that know of their plans, those plans fail. And hopefully, more info web sites will spread the reality of truth, and the elites and their evil plans will fail.

Wake up people, if they win we live on GULAG EARTH.
