On The Eve (Cross-Post)

The sun shall be turned to darkness and the moon to blood before the great and terrible day of the Lord comes. Joel 2:31

THREE years ago to this day, I heard then, on the eve of the Feast of the Mother of God (also New Year’s Day) the words:

"This is the Year of the Unfolding".

Five months later, at the brink of springtime, the dimension of those words came in another whispering in my heart:

"Very quickly now….The economy, then the social, then the political order".

Then, the Unfolding began...

For this reason, I know the readers of this blog take good care of their families, but if possible you have in your community these older Americans or handicapped people, could you just check on them?

Lying Wonders

When people are saying, All is well and secure and, There is peace and safety, then in a moment unforeseen destruction will come upon them as suddenly as labor pains come upon a woman with child; and they shall by no means escape, for there will be no escape.
1 Thessalonians 5:3

Globalism is a godless counterfeit of God’s intended plan. Deceived backers from among “peoples, multitudes, nations, and tongues” are destined to share “one mind” with respect to globalism’s empty promises. Anticipating a mass planetary shift to enlightenment, duped global citizens will put their trust in “lying wonders.” In the end, sudden destruction, not peace, will be their unanticipated recompense.

The eco-socialist new world order counterfeits God’s true design. In the end, the Lord will assume His rightful, uncontested place on the planet, earmarked by restoration. The coming Millennium on earth is a one-thousand-year theocracy under rule of Jesus Christ.

A King Is Born!

"...and you shall call Him "Jesus".

About two thousand years ago God reached down and invaded this sphere of Earth through the birth of His son Jesus. God's invading force was met with rebellion and murder by a hostile King Herod who had no right to the Throne of David. He was not the true king of the Israeli people.
Men have not changed one whit today. Today world leaders still greet the Babe of Bethlehem with hostility and death. Just as the Roman Caesars and the Edomite king on David's throne greeted the King of Kings, today's leaders are no more willing to acknowledge the supremacy of God's rule on this earth or to give up their perceived self-importance and primacy in the affairs of men.
The birth of Jesus was the dividing point of history and the focal point of Scripture. From the very beginning, right after sin entered the world, God promised the Savior, the coming of the Messiah. Provision was made before the Garden of Eden was closed up to man.
Jesus Christ turned the world upside down forever. This Baby born in a manger usurped the throne of man. Even today we still think the state is going to solve all our problems and that the state is going to be the "salvation" of mankind and right all wrongs. But Jesus refuses to go away. He refuses to be relegated to the dustbin of history.
Join Bill Heid and Mark Rushdoony as they discuss the cataclysmic event that Jesus's birth was, how it turned the belief that man and kings were superior to God upside down, and how this Babe in a manger ushered in the possibility of western civilization and the ideas of liberty and freedom enshrined in our Declaration of Independence and Constitution.

O Holy Night

O Holy Night Lyrics

The words and lyrics of the old carol 'O Holy Night' were written by Placide Cappeau de Roquemaure in 1847. Cappeau was a wine seller by trade but was asked by the parish priest to write a poem for Christmas. He obliged and wrote the beautiful words of the hymn. He then realised that it should have music to accompany the words and he approached his friend Adolphe Charles Adams(1803-1856). He agreed and the music for the poem was therefore composed by Adolphe Charles Adams. Adolphe had attended the Paris conservatoire and forged a brilliant career as a composer. It was translated into English by John Sullivan Dwight (1812-1893).

O Holy Night

O Holy Night! The stars are brightly shining,
It is the night of the dear Saviour's birth.
Long lay the world in sin and error pining.
Till He appeared and the Spirit felt its worth.
A thrill of hope the weary world rejoices,
For yonder breaks a new and glorious morn.
Fall on your knees! Oh, hear the angel voices!
O night divine, the night when Christ was born;
O night, O Holy Night , O night divine!
O night, O Holy Night , O night divine!

Led by the light of faith serenely beaming,
With glowing hearts by His cradle we stand.
O'er the world a star is sweetly gleaming,
Now come the wisemen from out of the Orient land.
The King of kings lay thus lowly manger;
In all our trials born to be our friends.
He knows our need, our weakness is no stranger,
Behold your King! Before him lowly bend!
Behold your King! Before him lowly bend!

Truly He taught us to love one another,
His law is love and His gospel is peace.
Chains he shall break, for the slave is our brother.
And in his name all oppression shall cease.
Sweet hymns of joy in grateful chorus raise we,
With all our hearts we praise His holy name.
Christ is the Lord! Then ever, ever praise we,
His power and glory ever more proclaim!
His power and glory ever more proclaim!

Attitudes & Feelings

Ephesians 4:17 This I say therefore, and testify in , that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind. 18 Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of Elohim through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart: 19 Who being past feeling have given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness.

Ephesians 4:17-19 says that unbelievers can be so callous and hard that they are "past feeling."  But the same verse says that they live by their feelings in unbridled sensuality and carnality. The Lord showed me that they are past doing what they should be doing with their feelings.
God gives people feelings for a specific purpose and use in their walk with Him.  But people who have alienated themselves from God are hardened to the place where they are beyond using their feelings for the right purpose.  Satan moves them into an area where they live riotous lives, doing whatever they feel like doing.  "If it feels good, do it!"  You and I are not to live that way, but to make the truth of God's Word our standard and to obey it by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Ephesians 4:23 And be constantly renewed in the spirit of your mind.

We are to be "constantly renewed" in the spirits of our minds, having  "a fresh mental and spiritual attitude."  Attitudes begin in the mind.  Our minds are renewed by the Word of God.  Reading the Word daily renews our minds and changes our attitudes.

A Christmas Letter From Jesus

Dear Children,
It has come to my attention that many of you are upset that folks are taking My name out of the season. Maybe you've forgotten that I wasn't actually born during this time of the year and that it was some
of your predecessors who decided to celebrate My birthday on what was actually a time of pagan
festival.  Although I do appreciate being remembered anytime.

How I personally feel about this celebration can probably be most easily understood by those of
you who have been blessed with children of your own.  I don't care what you call the day. If you
want to celebrate My birth, just GET ALONG AND LOVE ONE ANOTHER.

Now, having said that let Me go on. If it bothers you that the town in which you live doesn't allow a
scene depicting My birth, then just get rid of a couple of Santa's and snowmen and put in a small
Nativity scene on your own front lawn. If all My followers did that there wouldn't be any need for
such a scene on the town square because there would be many of them all around town.  Stop
worrying about the fact that people are calling the tree a holiday tree, instead of a Christmas tree.
It was I who made all trees. You can remember Me anytime you see any tree.

Decorate a grape vine if you wish: I actually spoke of that one in a teaching, explaining who I am
in relation to you and what each of our tasks were. If you have forgotten that one, look up
John 15: 1-8.

If you want to give Me a present in remembrance of My birth here is my wish list. Choose something
from it:

1. Instead of writing protest letters objecting to the way My birthday is being celebrated, write letters
of love and hope to soldiers away from home. They are terribly afraid and lonely this time of year.
I know, they tell Me all the time.

2. Visit someone in a nursing home. You don't have to know them personally. They just need to
know that someone cares about them.

3. Instead of writing The President complaining about the wording on the cards his staff sent out this
year, why don't you write and tell him that you'll be praying for him and his family this year. Then
follow up. It will be nice hearing from you again.

4. Instead of giving your children a lot of gifts you can't afford and they don't need, spend time with
them. Tell them the story of My birth, and why I came to live with you down here. Hold them in
your arms and remind them that I love them.

5. Pick someone that has hurt you in the past and forgive him or her.

6. Did you know that someone in your town will attempt to take their own life this season because
they feel so alone and hopeless? Since you don't know who that person is, try giving everyone you
meet a warm smile; it could make the difference.

7. Instead of nit picking about what the retailer in your town calls the holiday, be patient with the
people who work there.  Give them a warm smile and a kind word. Even if they aren't allowed to
wish you a "Merry Christmas" that doesn't keep you from wishing them one. Then stop shopping
there on Sunday.  If the store didn't make so much money on that day they'd close and let their
employees spend the day at home with their families.

8. If you really want to make a difference, support a missionary - especially one who takes My
love and Good News to those who have never heard My name.

9. Here's a good one. There are individuals and whole families in your town who not only will have
no "Christmas" tree, but neither will they have any presents to give or receive. If you don't know
them, buy some food and a few gifts and give them to the Salvation Army or some other charity which believes in Me and they will make the delivery for you.

10. Finally, if you want to make a statement about your belief in and loyalty to Me, then behave like
a Christian. Don't do things in secret that you wouldn't do in My presence. Let people know by your
actions that you are one of mine.  Don't forget; I am God and can take care of Myself. Just love Me
and do what I have told you to do. I'll take care of all the rest.

Check out the list above and get to work; time is short. I'll help you, but the ball is now in your court.
And do have a most blessed Christmas with all those whom you love and remember:

I LOVE YOU, JESUS

Do You "Hear" The Word?

And he said to them, “Take care about what you hear. The measure you use will be the measure you receive. Matthew 4:24

The more time we spend thinking about the Word we read and hear, the more power and ability we will have to obey it and the more revelation and knowledge we will have about what we have read or heard. Basically this tells us that we will get out of God's Word what we put into it.  If you want to receive the maximum benefit from God's awesome Word, be diligent to read it, study it, and apply it to your life.
