THE OPPONENT'S INTENTIONS TO PORTRAY EVERYTHING OF A MYSTICAL NATURE AS ERROR.
There are things which the human being is unable to explain to himself and
which he therefore rejects as an unsolvable problem. He is not inquisitive and
thus does not ponder them either, and since his will does not aspire to
solve such things they will also remain inexplicable to him. However, what
appears to be unexplainable cannot just be dismissed as˜non-existent or be
thrown into the field of fraud or sorcery due to lack of evidence. This
particularly applies to all mystical phenomena which cannot be solved by human
intellect alone and which are therefore unhesitatingly dismissed as a deliberate
attempt of deception or a person's morbid plan.
Mystic phenomena can only be explained by mystics, i.e. only the spiritually
aspiring human being can penetrate spiritual spheres. People's mere
intellectual ability will never be able to lift the veil, and therefore they will
also try to destroy other people's belief in spiritual matters, in spiritual
activity. And this is what they will then call enlightenment and will thus be
concealing what the human being should recognise as most important. the
working of the spiritual beings in the beyond who want to provide people with the
evidence that life after death on earth is not over.
O world of unbelievers and scorners....
Where a visible sign is offered to you, you try to refute it, and you are
thereby refusing the spiritual beings access to you. With your wisdom and
actions you intend to destroy the activity of these beings. It is more pleasing
to you to ridicule the spiritual aspirations of profoundly thinking people in
the eyes of the world, and are effectively locking your own entrance to the
kingdom which is sending signs to people in order to make their recognition
easier.
And the working of negative forces can be clearly seen in people who, with
absolute conviction, deny everything of a spiritual or supernatural nature.
They speak on behalf of the opponent because he wants to destroy people's
belief in the continuation of life after death, in eternal life and the hour of
accountability. And people support his will instantly and do not shy away from
surrendering their faith, thus merely affirming what they can touch or feel
but denying everything that appears to be supernatural. How highly the human
being values his intellect... . and how little he will achieve with it if God
Himself does not stand by him and guide him into enlightenment.
Yet on the other hand, human intellect is decisive for humanity.... It
unconditionally accepts what it is intellectually presented with. It frequently
and without hesitation surrenders its acquired spiritual truths, because God's
adversary knows how to show his superiority by using convincing words. Hence
he will find willing listeners everywhere, because the world prefers to hear
that life after bodily death has come to an end. And it will therefore
readily agree when expressions from the spiritual world are described as
imagination, fraud or error and are therefore completely dismissed. Amen

Like Michelle Obama, I am a "woman of color." Like Michelle Obama, I am a working mother of two young children. Like Michelle Obama, I am a member of the 13th generation of Americans born since the founding of our great nation.

 

Unlike Michelle Obama, I can't keep track of the number of times I've been proud - really proud - of my country since I was born and privileged to live in it. At a recent speech in Milwaukee on behalf of her husband's Democratic presidential campaign, Mrs Obama remarked, "For the first time in my adult lifetime, I am really proud of my country, and not just because Barack has done well, but because I think people are hungry for change."

 

Mrs. Obama's statement was met with warm applause from other Barack supporters who have also apparently been devoid of pride in their country during their adult lifetimes. Or maybe it was just a Pavlovian response to the word "change." What a sad, empty, narcissistic, ungrateful, unthinking lot!

 

I'm just seven years younger than Mrs. Obama. We've grown up and lived in the same era. And yet, her self-absorbed attitude is completely foreign to me. What planet is she living on? Since when was now the only time the American people have ever been "hungry for change"?

 

Michelle, ma belle, Barack is not the center of the universe. Newsflash: The Obamas did not invent "change" any more than Hillary invented "leadership" or John McCain invented "straight talk." We were both adults when the Berlin Wall fell, Michelle. That was earth-shattering change. We've lived through two decades' worth of peaceful, if contentious, election cycles under the rule of law, which have brought about "change" and upheaval, both good and bad. We were adults through several launchesof the space shuttle, in case you were snoozing. And as adults, we've witnessed and benefited from dizzyingly rapid advances in technology, communications, science, and medicine pioneered by American entrepreneurs who yearned to change the world and succeeded. You want "change"? Go ask the patients whose lives have been improved and extended by American pharmaceutical companies that have flourished under the best economic system in the world.

 

If American ingenuity, a robust constitutional republic, and the fall of communism don't do it for you, hon, then how about American heroism and sacrifice? How about every Memorial Day? Every Veterans Day? Every Independence Day? Every Medal of Honor ceremony? Has she never attended a welcome-home ceremony for the troops? For me, there's the thrill of the Blue Angels roaring over cloudless skies. And the somber awe felt amid the hallowed waters that surround the sunken U.S.S. Arizona at the Pearl Harbor memorial.

 

Every naturalization ceremony I've attended, where hundreds of new Americans raised their hands to swear an oath of allegiance to this land of liberty, has been a moment of pride for me. So have the awesome displays of American compassion at home and around the world. When millions of Americans rallied to help victims of the 2004 tsunami in Southeast Asia - including members of the U.S.S. Abraham Lincoln Carrier Strike Group that sped from Hong Kong to assist survivors - my heart filled with pride. It did again when the citizens of Houston opened their arms to Hurricane Katrina victims and folks across the country rushed to their churches and offices of the Salvation Army and Red Cross to volunteer.

 

How about American resilience? Does that not make you proud, Michelle? Only a heart of stone could be unmoved by the strength, valor, and determination displayed in New York , Washington , D.C., and Shanksville , Pa. , onSeptember 11, 2001.

 

I believe it was Michael Kinsley who quipped that a gaffe is when a politician tells the truth. In this case, it's what happens when an elite Democratic politician's wife says what a significant portion of the party's base really believes to be the truth: America is more a source of shame than pride.

 

Michelle Obama has achieved enormous professional success, political influence, and personal acclaim in America . Ivy League educated, she's been lauded by Essence magazine as one of the 25 World's Most Inspiring Women; by Vanity Fair as one of the ten World's Best-Dressed Women; and named one of "The Harvard 100" most influential alumni. She has had an amazingly blessed life. But, you wouldn't know it from her campaign rhetoric and her griping about her and her husband's student loans.

 

For years, we've heard liberals get offended at any challenge to their patriotism. And so they are again aggrieved and rising to explain away Mrs. Obama's remarks.

Thoughts on seeing Apocalypse Now again:

It's 1979 and a young Martin Sheen is taking us up that fateful river again. He is our wise and somber Virgil, our guide, our narrator, the ORM (the Only Rational Man) leading us up that labyrinthine river of death and insanity which is our national crucible, our Vietnam War. That great river of no return, that winding thread of dark infuriating lies that will take us further and further into the Heart of Darkness, into the Heart of Darkness of our greatnational shame and guilt and self-loathing. This was the real secret mission of that clandestine journey. And they almost succeeded.

It's the summer of 2008 and I'm taking that trip with him once again and I am breathless and speechless in shock and wonder at the enormity my previous innocence and gullibility. I am overcome by the tragedy of it all. Not just by the horrors ofthat bloody and inconclusive war, but overcome by what they, the narrators have done to us all. Our trusted and revered guides have all but ruined us with the binding threads of their dark unscrupulous lies. Up the river we follow them into that great cynical myth, slaughtering myriad innocent women and little children, laying waste to the fertile land, sacrificing a small courageous people in the fiery embrace of Napalm, swooping in on the little schoolchildren playing in their schoolyard, like great birds of prey, accompanied by those brutal and bombastic sounds of the furies of hell, those Hitlerian Wagnerian orgasms of supremacist passion, the demonic sounds of that self-righteous, contemptuous warrior's passion. We are all too young, much to young to know what the hell we're doing, we're all dopeheads and surfers, sadistic, drunken sex-starved smiling adolescent American monsters, smiling the awful smiles of insanity as we slaughter our helpless prey. Meaningless slaughter. Pointless death. Ghastly unnecessary erroneous war. Monumental moral blunder.

And what finally do we find at the end of that gruesome river, at the end of our perilous journey? We find ourselves. And the discovery is alarming. Madness, arrogant, ruthless, contempt of all that is fine and good in human nature, thoughtlessly obliterating a fine nation for inscrutable and indefensible motives. A big stupid illiterate giant stumbling around the world in our drunken orgy of self-gratification. We have become the monsters we once abhorred, too young and naive to even begin to appreciate the enormity of our loss, that loss of all that which we once held dear. This is the grave and ominous lesson of that journey into the Heart of Darkness, into the Heart of our National Moral Darkness. This is the lesson of that ominous voyage, the message of our profound and wise Virgil, our trusted guide, our ORM. This, then, shall be our new national narrative: The epic downward spiral of a once great nation into that great hopeless moral miasma.

This is what they have done to us, this is what they have wrought. Our honored Virgils, our trusted guides, our respected ORM. This, what we have become, is their doing, this is the product of their genuis and ideology and their talent. With the power of their heavy-handed symbols and crude metaphors they have almost succeeded in redefining our national narrative. We have almost become lost in that impenetrable jungle of lies and propaganda. We have almost lost our way and have almost lost our humanity. We have, they have convinced us, sinned greatly, monumentally, against all mankind, and all that saves us from oblivion is heeding their grave warnings, the warnings of our false Virgils, the concerned admonishments of our counterfeit ORM. Oh, and they have worked their magic well. They have taught us how to hate ourselves with great sincerity and how to love our enemies, and , finally, how to find hope and solace in our boundless self-contempt. There is, they tell us, still that one possible chance for salvation -- our willingness to face up to our past mistakes and to try to make amends. To give up all of our old selfish and contemptible imperialistic warrior dreams and join the humble brotherhood of man. It's not too late yet, they tell us. There is still time. If we just follow their lead.

So I have taken that old trip up that long loathsome river once again and I am all but speechless in shock and wonder at my previous ignorance and gullibility. But no longer. Now my eyes have been opened, now I can see the corrupt degenerate treachery of our false guides, our false Virgils. Their lessons are lies and their messages are empty. They have almost ruined us with their deceptions and their purposeful distortions of the truth. They had almost succeeded, they had almost robbed us of our self-respect, our hard-won and well-earned self-respect. But ultimately they have failed to destroy us. Because we can still remember, we can still remember the truth of who we are, despite their most talented and ambitious efforts to obliterate it.

We are a great fine people. We are a great fine nation. We owe no apologies to anyone -- least of all to ourselves. In the end the false storytellers with their secret agendas have failed. It is the beginning of a new season now, we are beginning to create a new narrative. A narrative founded on truth and hope and promise. We are looking for new guides now, for new Virgils. Not to lead us down into the depths of self-immolation and despair, but to lift us up to the heights of promise and fulfilment. We are looking for guides now who will teach us how to love ourselves once again and regain the strength of the righteous warriors that we are. We are free and we are kind and decent. And the old men's tales, the False Virgil's lies just won't do anymore.

New Earthquake 'Swarm' Hits Cascadia Subduction

You may have to be a certain age to remember one of my favorite "love" songs. Back in the 1980's Bette Midler came out with a song that has always touched my heart. The song's title is 'You are the wind beneath my wings". After hearing the song on the radio I bought it as a gift for my wife Melody. The words of the chorus are especially meaningful. Notice them, "Did you ever know that you're my hero, and everything I would like to be? I can fly higher than an eagle, 'cause you are the wind beneath my wings. It might have appeared to go unnoticed, but I've got it all here in my heart. I want you to know I know the truth, of course I know it; I would be nothing without you."

Actually I hadn't heard or thought about that song for a long time then I ran across an amazing story; actually I've had it in a stack of things I have saved on my desk for about a year. Anyway I reread it and things just clicked. Notice this wonderful testimony to a caring heart.

"Astonished, I watched the man roller-skating toward me on the bicycle path. An owl, wings outstretched, clung to a leather patch on his shoulder. As they got closer, I could tell that the giant bird had lost part of one wing. The skater stopped for a breather. "Twice a day we go out so he can pretend he's flying," the man told me.

"I'm sure he would repay you if he could," I replied. "He already has," the skater said. "I used to weigh 25 pounds more and I smoked." With that, man and bird took off again". ("Life In These United States", Readers Digest Magazine).

As I contemplated this story I wondered how many of us have a person who is or has helped us to fly, perhaps to soar when the world has tried to push you down. And I also wondered when might be the last time we thanked them?

I am continually astonished! I have many wonderful people in my life that are a constant encouragement to me and I hope I in some small way return the favor. There are times that my wing is broken and I am flapping around in circles on the ground then someone comes along and maybe unknown to you, you help me to fly again and I am astonished at you. Astonished that you care, astonished at God's love seen through you!

I am astonished when I think of what Christ has done for me! Go back and watch the movie, 'the passion of Christ' once again if you dare, remember what he did for you and be astonished!

Each dayI try to make it a practice to say thank you to ourGod! Thank you for my life, for our world, for all that he has done and is doing for me! What I want you to understand is this: to someone else you may be the hand of God, reaching out and lifting them up and helping them to fly when they can no longer fly themselves.

The writer of the book of Hebrews encourages us regarding our relationships with these words in Hebrews 12:12-15: "So take a new grip with your tired hands and stand firm on your shaky legs. Mark out a straight path for your feet. Then those who follow you, though they are weak and lame, will not stumble and fall but will become strong. Try to live in peace with everyone, and seek to live a clean and holy life, for those who are not holy will not see the Lord. Look after each other so that none of you will miss out on the special favor of God."

Perhaps you can mark the path, lift up someone, look out after someone or at least let someone know how much you appreciate them being in your life. Just perhaps you can for someone, be "the wind beneath their wings' and they will be astonished that you care, and more importantly they will see Jesus through and in you!

I am astonished by God's plan and the ability to make it work in my life! ("But those who wait on the LORD will find new strength. They will fly high on wings like eagles." Isaiah 40:31

Over the last several years, the media has attempted to scare us with stories about the horrors that took place on 9/11, the Wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, the anthrax scare, the bombings in London, Madrid, and Saudi Arabia, international terrorism, dirty bombs exploding in one of our cities, nuclear bombs for North Korea and Iran, the tsunami in Indonesia, Hurricanes Katrina and Rita, avian bird flu pandemics, illegal immigration, famine in Africa, AIDS spreading all the world, antibiotic resistant tuberculosis, flesh eating bacteria, hepatitis A B and C outbreaks, increased sunspot activity, rising gasoline and natural gas prices, peak oil and sustainability of our way of life, another war in the Middle East, the dire consequences of supposed global warming and even a full blown UFO invasion or worse yet secret UN meetings with extraterrestrials who want to help us prepare for peaceful disclosure of their existence.

No wonder people are fearful.

We are constantly warned in television documentaries about future earthquakes in California and along the New Madrid fault, that the Yellowstone caldera is going to explode, that a gamma ray blast from the sun will annihilate us, that the Mayan calendar ends in 2012, about the dangers of recombinant DNA and cloning and that a rogue asteroid or comet could strike us at anytime. Doomsday scenarios abound and impending planetary catastrophes are just around the corner. The end of the world is approaching fast and we are told that we cannot stop it.

The Bible prophetically warned us 2000 years ago that near the end (today?) that:

"You will hear of wars and disturbances, do not be terrified for these things must take place first but the end does not follow immediately…nation will rise up against nation and kingdom against kingdom and there will be great earthquakes and in various places plagues and famine and there will be terrors and great signs from heaven…when you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies…and there will be signs in the sun and moon and stars and upon the earth dismay among nations, in perplexity at the roaring of the sea and the waves, men fainting from fear…" (Luke 21:9-11, 20, 25-26).

The Bible also warned that sometime soon:

"A burning mountain will strike the earth and that the earth will be burned up and 1/3 of the trees and the green grass will be burned up and 1/3 of the people will be killed by plagues" (Revelation 8).

"The day of the Lord will come like a thief in which the heavens will pass away with a roar and the elements will be destroyed with intense heat and the earth and its works will be burned up" (2 Peter 3:10).

"But the present heavens and earth by His word are being reserved for fire, kept for the Day of Judgment and destruction of ungodly men" (2 Peter 3:7).

People should be fearful.

But the word of God tells us, however, not to fear!

How can that be? All that we need to do is trust and hope and believe in the Lord because the "Lord is patient toward all, not wanting any to perish, but for all to come to repentance" (2 Peter 3:9).

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding" (Proverbs 3:5).
"God is my salvation. I will trust and not be afraid for the Lord is my strength" (Isaiah 12:2).
"Hope in the living God who is the Savior of all men especially Believers" (1Timothy 4:10).

Remember, that "God has not given us the spirit of fear but of peace and love and a sound mind." (2Timothy 1:7).

God tells us in His word:

"Do not fear for I am a shield to you" (Genesis 15:1).
"Do not fear, I am with you" (Genesis 21:24).
"Do not fear, stand by and see the salvation of the Lord" (Exodus 14:13).
"Do not fear or be dismayed" (Deuteronomy 1:21).
"Do not fear or be dismayed. Be strong and courageous" (Joshua 10:25).
"I am your Lord, your God; you shall not fear" (Judges 6:10).
"Peace to you,do not fear" (Judges 6:25).
"Do not fear, I will do what you ask" (Ruth 3:11).
"Take courage, fear not" (Isaiah 35:4).
"Do not fear, I am with you" (Isaiah 41:16).
"Fear not, peace be unto you, be strong" (Daniel 10:19).
"Fear not but let your hands be strong" (Zechariah 8:13).
"Fear not them which kill the body but not the soul" (Matthew 10:28).
"Fear not for your prayers are heard" (Luke 1:13).
"Fear not because I bring you good tidings of great joy" (Luke 2:16).
"Fear not; believe only" (Luke 8:50).
"Fear not for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom" (Luke 12:32).
"Fear not, behold the King Cometh" (John 12:18).
"Fear not, I am the First and the Last" (Revelation 1:17).

Do not believe that some extraterrestrial stargod or starpeople or heavenly messiah in a spaceship of the gods will save you. They will not. Even if they call themselves mary or yahweh or the elohim, run from them before they will just lead you smiling with them to the gates of hell. There is only one Savior of mankind, only one name by which we must be saved, and that is Jesus Christ (Acts 4:12). It is neither Joseph Smith, nor Mary nor Moses nor Muhammad nor Buddha and especially not some Stargod or Heavenly fallen angel i.e. extraterrestrial. Military Aviation Historian, Trevor James Constable, told us that the battle with UFOs is not for the planet of man but for the soul of man. We have been warned of these imposters two thousand years ago.

"For false Christs and false prophets will arise and will show great signs and wonders so as to mislead, if possible, even the elect. Behold I have told you in advance…do not believe them" (Matthew 24:24-26). "They will secretly introduce destructive heresies…and the way of the truth will be maligned…and they will exploit you with false words" (2Peter 2:1-3)

Long ago, the Apostle Paul warned us about spiritual warfare with so called extraterrestrials which are actually fallen demonic angels and their false teachers who are bent on deceiving us with craftiness and scheming.

"For our struggle is not against flesh and blood…but against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places…stand firm against the schemes of the devil" (Ephesians 6:12, 11).

All I can say to all of you is remember that I

"Spoke the word of God to you…imitate [my] faith. For Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and yes and forever. Do not be carried away by varied and strange teachings" (Hebrews 13:7-9).

If you choose to trust in the Lord Jesus Christ, He

"Will never leave you nor forsake you. The Lord [will be your] helper and [you] will not fear" (Hebrews 13:5-6).

Be Still And Know

In my life I have faced many struggles.

I am human and by nature I have grown sin weary and overburdened.

My hands have worked alone, in vain to build masterpieces
that always fall short of perfection.

In the midst of despair, I place my discouraged heart
in the hands of the one who softly whispers,
“Be still and know that I am God.”

I place my confidence in the one who faithfully works
to do what is positively right for me.

I rely on the perfect knowledge that keeps Him from doing
anything in my life that is not exactly what I need.

He is the Lord of creation, and yet He is committed to gently
knocking at the door of my heart.

I adore the God whose love is so pure that He sent His son to
live a perfect life for me.  His love is so holy that He sent
His son to shed His blood on the cross for me.

I treasure the God who will never stop forgiving me.

My hope is in the one who knows the depths of my heart and still
loves me so passionately and watchfully.

The one who softly whispers,

“Be still and know that I am God.”

Indeed, the leaders of Israel should have hidden their faces from God! The very idea of repudiating the God who had created them, redeemed them from death, and then established them as a great nation, in favor of a vain evolutionary, pantheistic polytheism rampant among their heathen neighbors, is preposterous. God's people should have tried to lead these pagan evolutionists back to the Creator, instead of adopting their own utterly impotent cosmogony. They surely had sense enough to know that wooden images and stone idols could never generate living human beings!

But this ancient delusion is highly sophisticated and realistic, compared to our modern "scientific" evolutionism. Modern "inflationary" cosmogonists actually believe that the entire ordered universe evolved out of a "quantum fluctuation in a primeval state of nothingness." Modern "origin-of-life" biochemists have faith that dead chemical elements in a primordial soup generated complex living cells against infinitely impossible odds. And many modern physical anthropologists credulously insist that chattering chimpanzee-like "hominids" were miraculously transmuted into intelligent, spiritual human beings--all in spite of the fact that true science utterly repudiates every aspect of this impossible evolutionary fantasy.

Paul, speaking of the ancient evolutionists, commented as follows: "Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools" (Romans 1:22). Yet these early idolaters never carried their anti-creationism to such absurd reductionist extremes as do their modern descendants. The Bible calls them fools.

The picture of spiritual disintegration will be visible in utmost clarity at
the dawn of the day when the grand disaster will strike this earth. In times
of trouble people will take refuge to God....But in this disaster only a
fraction of the populace will remember Him, Who alone can bring rescue, and the
spiritual low of the people will be clearly recognizable by their despair, not
knowing of any way of liberation. And this is exactly why this affliction,
happening unto man, is necessary through which the thinking of same perhaps can
change some, whereas the despair is immeasurably great and earthly
deliverance impossible.
The one living in faith won´t be frightened by the disaster to the same
extent as the unbelievers will be, since he is at any time willing to surrender
himself to his God and Father. But such are few and those few are not capable
of getting through to move the hearts of their fellow men to deep and fervent
prayer. The stubbornness is so great and the arrogance even greater and
these two are thus insurmountable obstacles for a humble submission and the
asking for mercy.
The angrier the elements are raging, the harder and more stubborn the spirit
of those will be who are in the center of it. And yet, in spite of it, the
Lord will remember the few who remember Him....He will reward their faith, with
them in return singing to Him praises of thanks, for the Lord does not leave
His own and He guides them into peace and true everlasting life, if they have
to give their earthly life up and acknowledge the Father and commend
themselves to His mercy.
Therefore do not regret having to give up your life while in the faith....keep
in mind that the One who gives life, can again take it.... and likewise, the
One who takes it can give it back again, although much more beautiful and
joyful, as the most enjoyable earthly life could ever be. Hence do not doubt God´
s love, compassion and righteousness.... Even though many innocent must suffer
with the guilty ones, this sorrow will be reimbursed to them a thousand fold,
having endured it for the sake of so many going astray. And the wise
Divinity has in other ways created compensation that, through God´s approval the
land of affliction will become extraordinarily fertile through this very event ...
.and the humans who survived that episode through God´s goodness, will
dedicate their lives with deepest faith in their Lord and live in the Lord truly
and also will fight for His name.
And now the time of the spiritual change begins, all will be united through
love and will be functioning in love one for the other, and they will
recognize God´s love, wisdom and power, and their thinking and doing will be correct
before God, and the Lord will rest His eye on those with pleasure, who found

Keeping The Love

Matthew 24:11-12 - And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

In our blood if viruses and germs are like sin then love is like the white blood corpuscles which fights them. The more of the white blood corpuscles we have, the more can we overcome any viruses or germs. But if the ratio changes then our fighting ability come down totally and we become a victim to the disease. Jesus spoke about the last days when sin would abound and love would perish. But He says only those who keep this love alive are the ones who will be saved.

This fight is not something that will happen only in the last days, but even today inside of you and me.

We all have weaknesses due to which we fall into sin. We all must have tried very hard to fight this nature and failed or are very tired fighting this battle. The only way we can fight this nature is with 'love'. When we love the Lord and increase it more and more everyday, then only will we be able to overcome our sinful nature. This love does not only help us, but as it radiates within us it changes even the people around us. Increase these white blood corpuscles more and more and increase the immunity against sin.

Prayer-
Lord, it is only because of your love that You are cleansing us of our sins and making us holy. I love You and your love within me gives me the strength to overcome my sinful nature and sin. Fill me with more and more of your love that I may never lack strength. I make this prayer in Jesus' Name, Amen.

The Word of God was given free to us, therefore we should also share it freely with others.

Follow Me

And many spread their garments in the way: and others cut down branches off the trees, and strawed [them] in the way.

My holy people; how radical is your worship of Me? I have said that those that worship Me, must worship in Spirit and in Truth. I have also said that you should love Me with all that is within you … heart, soul, mind and strength.

Worship is not about what is going on in your life and finding a way to get Me to do something for you. Worship is not about making a lot of noise or even singing along to a lot of great music. Worship is about taking what is close to your heart, laying it down for Me, and offering it to Me. Your heart, your innermost feelings [good or bad], your giftings and talents, your possessions and treasures, every part of every aspect of your life, offered up to Me.

That is acceptable worship and that is what I am looking for from you, My holy people. These pleasing sacrifices honor Me and invite Me to dwell in your midst. I am looking over the whole earth for hearts that have surrendered all to Me. These truly prepare the way before Me.

Seek Me with all your heart. Seek Me early in the morning, before the cares of the world take your attention. Seek Me and find Me and listen to what My Spirit is saying to you. As you follow Me, as you lay down all that is you, as you believe the simple gospel message, you become a tool in My Hand, a servant that is ready to do My bidding, not your own.

True worship prepares the heart for obedience. Follow Me.

The Religous Right Is AWOL!

The Religious Right Is AWOL From The Real War by Chuck Baldwin July 23, 2008 I want to begin this column with one of my all-time favorite quotes. It comes from the great German reformer Martin Luther. He said, "If I profess with the loudest voice and clearest exposition every portion of the truth of God except precisely that little point which the world and the devil are at that moment attacking, I am not confessing Christ, however boldly I may be professing Christ. Where the battle rages, there the loyalty of the soldier is proved; and to be steady on all the battlefield besides is mere flight and disgrace if he flinches at that point." Luther's trenchant statement reminds us that today's Christians, especially our Christian leaders, are conspicuously absent from the field of battle. Oh, they may host large crowds in their gatherings; they may deposit multiplied millions of dollars in their financial accounts; they may receive thunderous applause from politicians, but they have fled the battlefield at the point of attack. For the record, the real battlefield today is not abortion. It is not homosexual marriage. It is not Social Security. It is not al Qaeda. It is not taxes. It is not inflation. It is not electing conservatives. It is not posting the Ten Commandments. It is not even the high cost of gasoline. That is not to say that those issues are not important and not deserving of our best efforts and attention, because they are. But those issues do not represent the major battlefield today. The battlefield where the devil has amassed his greatest forces and is thrusting his deadliest armies is the surrender of our national sovereignty and independence, and the creation of global government. And it is our own political and corporate leaders that are facilitating this chicanery. Furthermore, by refusing to oppose this surrender, our Christian leaders are complicit as well. Obviously, the surrender of our independence has been ongoing for some time. However, under Bill Clinton and especially under G.W. Bush, the pace has quickened exponentially. Doubtless, the biggest reason President Bush has more aggressively hastened the pace of America's merger into supranational government is because he enjoys widespread support among evangelical Christians. Absent opposition from Christian leaders, G.W. Bush has virtually had a free hand. And please know this: before Bush was a Republican, before he was a "conservative," before he was a Christian, he was and is a globalist, as was his father and grandfather before him. Because our national Christian leaders are content to revel in the lap of political cronyism with President Bush (and the Republican Party), they have abandoned their positions as watchmen on the wall. Instead of being watchmen and heralds of truth, they have become political lackeys and toadies for the GOP. Now, just yesterday, James Dobson declares that he "might" support John McCain. This in spite of the fact that only a few months ago Mr. Dobson promised, "I cannot and I will not vote for Sen. John McCain as a matter of conscience." Ah, but that is just the problem: when it comes to groveling before the GOP, our Christian leaders have no conscience. Hence, James Dobson is now publicly saying he "might" support McCain. The ones who are doing the yeoman's work in trying to warn the American people to what is happening in regard to the surrender of our country's liberties and independence are people such as Congressman Ron Paul and Dr. Jerome Corsi. Many of you know Corsi as the man who co-authored the Number 1 New York Times best-seller, "Unfit for Command: Swift Boat Veterans Speak Out Against John Kerry." Jerome Corsi holds a Ph.D. from Harvard University in political science. He is not some fringe-radical (not that Harvard hasn't produced its own radicals). Religiously, my understanding is that Corsi is either a Roman Catholic or Episcopalian. However, Corsi is doing what James Dobson, Tony Perkins, et al. should be doing, but aren't: he is sounding the trumpet of truth for the real battlefield. In a nutshell, Corsi warns us that G.W. Bush is secretly working to merge the United States into a trilateral government with Canada and Mexico. Corsi maintains that back in March of 2005, President Bush, Mexican President Vicente Fox, and Canadian Prime Minister Paul Martin entered into an agreement that binds the three countries into a regional or hemispheric government. Corsi insists that this is one of the central reasons why Bush is so adamant about granting amnesty to Mexico's illegal aliens. Bush is simply following through with his commitment to Fox and Martin. Corsi also notes that this new hemispheric entity already has a name. It is called the North American Union (NAU), and it is being created without any input (or even knowledge) from our legislative or judicial branches of government. The official name of the agreement made between the three leaders is the "Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America" (SPP). Obviously, the new NAU is modeled after the already established European Union (EU). Folks, please be aware that President Bush has already committed the United States to a regional or hemispheric government. When completed, this regional government will control everything relative to the "security" and "prosperity" of this new North American Union. That includes everything relating to travel, law enforcement, trade, education, military matters, etc. So, what is left out? Nothing. Please remember, too, that all of this is being done without any input from the American people or their elected representatives at the state or federal level. I would even dare say that the vast majority of congressmen and senators are completely oblivious to the fact that this is even happening. With the attention of the American people (and Congress) focused on the Middle East, Bush and his cabal of elitists are moving forward with plans to surrender our national independence and merge our country into a regional government. Friends, this is the real war; this is the real battlefield. When America loses its sovereignty and independence, we will lose all of our fundamental liberties. The Constitution will be meaningless and irrelevant. The Bill of Rights will be moot. The principles of religious liberty, the right to life, and the Christian foundation of our country will be passé. And, as I said at the outset of this column, our national leaders, especially our Christian leaders, are totally absent from this battlefield. The surrender of our national sovereignty and independence is where the battle currently rages; it is where the devil is at this moment attacking (to quote Luther). But where is the Religious Right? They have flinched and fled in the face of battle. They would rather hold onto their precious perks of power within the ivory towers of partisan politics. The World Is Spinning Out Of Control!

I recently saw a newspaper headline stating that, "Everything is spinning out of control."  The underlying sentiment seemed to be that we should pin the tail on the worst issues going on in the world today. Quite frankly, there may not be enough tails!
 
Then to add to the distress, The New York Times printed an article, "Are you ready for the next disaster?" All natural disasters in the last 6 to 12 months have been preceded with headlines such as "unprecedented" or "record-setting."
 
This may sound depressing but keep reading. It isn't just gloom and doom.
 
The points are accurate that prices are skyrocketing and home values are abysmal. Airline costs, college tuition, and health care are becoming unaffordable.
 
Both U.S. presidential candidates want to add a sense of order to all of this and have their own solutions. No one has the slightest idea if any of their suggestions will make things better or worse and if God is maneuvering the world for His greater purposes, what world leaders do or say matters very little.
 
We live in an age of risk assessment and risk analysis, when doomsday scenarios have become daily anxieties, and planning for improbable but world-changing events has become a focus of disaster policy. Now with renewed jitters about a post-election terrorist attack, government officials are urging us to plan for the next catastrophe. Nobody said it would be easy to be born for such a time as this!
 
Maybe what the 21st century is all about is the great unravelingof some things long taken for granted.
 
The Bible indicates that right before the Lord's return many things will spin out of control. Most scoff at such suggestions as predicted in II Peter. And it does not help to have church pulpits totally silent on issues that relate to the predicted "end-times" and some of the things that will unfold in those days.
 
I maintain the unbelieving world cannot connect the dots when it comes to much of this.  They will blame it on man-made global warming, whoever is in the White House, Rush Limbaugh, and a host of other  issues. It is difficult, if not impossible, for the unsaved world to arrive at a satisfactory answer to life's great mysteries.  While this is not a suggestion that the unsaved world has no hope, they surely do not have the "blessed hope" (Titus 2:13).
 
So the next time you hear the suggestion that the sky is falling, tell them that, no, the sky will some day open up for the King of kings to appear in the clouds and call forth His church.  Some of the calamities occurring are reminding us that the hour is late and the door of the Ark may close. We have little time to waste.
 
If you are a part of a church that is sleeping at the wheel, move on. You will likely not hear of the Lord's glorious returning in 95% of the churches today. It does not encourage church growth they will tell you. Others will say it is divisive or impractical for this generation.
 
As Dr. David Reagan, one of our "Understanding the Times" conference speakers in 2006, 2007, and 2008 says, "Although prophecy constitutes almost one-third of the Bible, its importance is constantly downplayed by those who dismiss it as having no practical significance or by those who object to it on the grounds that it is a 'fad' that takes people's eyes off Jesus.

 

"Revelation 19:10 says that 'the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.'   Thus, if prophecy is properly taught, there is no reason for it to divert anyone's attention away from Jesus.  In fact, it should serve to emphasize the centrality of Jesus.

 

Reagan asks, "Is prophecy practical?  Consider that all the New Testament writers testify to the fact that the study of prophecy will motivate holy living.  What could be more practical than that?"

 

He concludes, "Prophecy does not have to be faddish, other-worldly, or impractical if taught properly.  Nor does it have to be a playground for fanatics.  It can and should be green pastures for disciples.

 

 "God's prophetic Word is food for our spiritual growth.  We need to take it off the shelf.  We need to open it up and feast upon it, and we need to do so with believing

hearts."

 

Somebody get excited. The King is coming!
