If Jesus came to visit would you have to change your clothes before you let Him in?
Or hide some magazines, and put the Bibles where they'd been?
Would you hide your worldly music and put some hymn books out?
Could you let Jesus walk right in, or would you rush about?
And I wonder if the Savior spent a day or two with you,
would you go right on doing, the things you always do?
Would you go right on saying, the things you always say?
Or would life for you continue as it does from day to day?
Would you take Jesus with you everywhere you go?
Or would you maybe change your plans for just a day or two?
Would you be glad to have Him meet your closest friends?
Or would you hope they stay away until His visit ends?
Would you be glad to have Him stay forever on and on?
Or would you sigh with great relief when He at last was gone?
It might be interesting to know, that things that you would do,
If Jesus came in person, to spend some time with you.

Arise And Shine!
1Arise, shine, for your light has come
and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you.
2 For behold, darkness shall cover the earth,
and thick darkness the peoples;
but the Lord will arise upon you,
and his glory will be seen upon you.
3 And nations shall come to your light,
and kings to the brightness of your rising.
2 For behold, darkness shall cover the earth,
and thick darkness the peoples;
but the Lord will arise upon you,
and his glory will be seen upon you.
3 And nations shall come to your light,
and kings to the brightness of your rising.
4 Lift up your eyes all around, and see;
they all gather together, they come to you;
your sons shall come from afar,
and your daughters shall be carried on the hip.
5 Then you shall see and be radiant;
your heart shall thrill and exult,
because the abundance of the sea shall be turned to you,
the wealth of the nations shall come to you.
they all gather together, they come to you;
your sons shall come from afar,
and your daughters shall be carried on the hip.
5 Then you shall see and be radiant;
your heart shall thrill and exult,
because the abundance of the sea shall be turned to you,
the wealth of the nations shall come to you.
My holy
people; now is the time for you to arise and shine, for now is the time
I am restoring My glory to My house. Each of you are My witnesses and
each of you will see and partake of My goodness.
I have prepared you
for such a time as this. Take what I have given you, consecrate it to
Me and prepare to see it multiplied. Just as the loaves and fishes were
multiplied, I will multiply blessing to you, to your sons and daughters
and all those far off that are given to you. I really intend on
restoring My glory. I really intend on doing it now. Prepare yourselves.
For the delight of your soul is about to be revealed. What you have
dreamed about, had visions about, is about to transpire. For I am
restoring My glory and you will shine for Me.
Don't worry
yourself with the things of this earth. Instead, pour yourself into
worship of Me, obedience to Me and service to those I send you. For now
is the time to see My glory restored and you My holy people will partake
of what I am preparing. For all that I am preparing is intended for
you.
You will face
opposition. Religion and the world hates Me with a pure hatred. They
hate you, because you love Me. Therefore, do not be surprised when
religion is threatened and lashes out. It did the same thing to Me. They
feel threatened, feel as though they are losing something and fear
dominates their souls. For when they see Me move freely through you,
they will rise up, they will oppose, but remember this; I have overcome
the world. Arise and Shine!

A Savior In The Storm!
The hour has come, brothers and sisters. The great storm of our times, the “end times”, is here (the end of this age, not the world). We will lose these old, ragged, and sin infested, fleshly bodies and enter into a spiritual dimension. And I want to tell those of you who are trying to follow
Christ, despite your personal failures and setbacks, despite the trials
and suffering which are at times relentless:
We have s Savior in the storm!
Soon, this Storm is going to take on dimensions that
will impact the entire world, moving her irreversibly toward the
ultimate purification of evil from the planet. Few understand the scope
of what is about to take place. Very Few are prepared for the dimensions of this Storm. But you, I pray, will remember when the waves come crashing down:
We have a Savior in the storm!
The reason the Apostles panicked was because they took
their eyes off of Jesus and began to focus on the waves “breaking over
the boat.” We too often begin to focus on our problems, which at times,
seem as though they will totally sink us. We forget that…
We have a Savior in the storm!
Keep your eyes and heart fixed on Him. Do this by canceling out your will and living in and accepting His will in all things.
Matthew 7:24 “Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. 25 The
rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against
that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the
rock.
We are being called to walk on water—to tread
over the abyss amid wind and waves and a disappearing horizon. The days
are here and coming when we are going to have to depend upon God entirely. And I mean this in every way. But it is for a purpose, a divine purpose: that we would become the army of Christ in these last times
where every soldier moves as one, in obedience, in order, and without
hesitation. But this is only possible if the soldier’s mind is attentive
and obedient to his Commander. The Word of Christ comes to me....
My Holy People, because I love you, I want to show you what I am doing in the world today. I want to prepare you for what is to come. Days of darkness are coming on the world, days of tribulation… Buildings that are now standing will not be standing. Supports that are there for my people now will not be there. I want you to be prepared, my people, to know only me and to cleave to me and to have me in a way deeper than ever before. I will lead you into the desert… I will strip you of everything that you are depending on now, so you depend just on me. A time of darkness is coming on the world, but a time of glory is coming for my people. I will pour out on you all the gifts of my Spirit. I will prepare you for spiritual combat; I will prepare you for a time of evangelism that the world has never seen…. And when you have nothing but me, you will have everything: land, fields, homes, and brothers and sisters and love and joy and peace more than ever before. Be ready, my people, I want to prepare you…
We have a Savior in the storm!

Where Are We Going?
By David Dombrowski
Editor at Lighthouse Trails
The expression “Where are we going?” is not an uncommon one, but whether it be a child asking a parent or a fellow traveler posing the question, it usually denotes a sense of being lost and one of concern. Then, of course, posing the question to a stranger could be one of much graver concern. But, in any case, it is a good question to ask because it signifies a desire for safety – to get going in the right direction toward the right destination. When a hunter or a hiker asks that question, it could actually be a matter of life and death; oftentimes, he may have nothing more than a map and a compass, but these tools of navigation can make all the difference when it comes to survival.
I thank God that He has given us His Word to enable us to navigate our way through life, for we are on a life and death journey, and our destination is of utmost importance. The Bible indicates that we are sojourners through life (Psalm 39:12), yet we need not be lost because the Psalms also declare, “Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path” (Psalm 119:105). Have you ever been hiking when it was beginning to get dark? Hopefully, you got out in time before darkness set in, but this psalmist offers us a picture of someone walking along a path when darkness has already set in. Yet, he has the comfort of a lamp to light his way to safety. We can be encouraged by God’s Word that offers us both comfort and safety, because the fact is we live in a dark world, and the “god of this world” (Satan) blinds the eyes of the unbelieving (2 Corinthians 4:4). But today, it is more than just the atheist and agnostic who are in grave spiritual danger, as multitudes of proclaiming Christians are being blinded by what Scripture refers to as a time of strong delusion (2 Thessalonians 2:3) or as Paul says elsewhere:
Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils. 1 Timothy 4:1Unfortunately, for many of these people, they will all the while think they are abiding in the truth.

A New Birth of Freedom!
An essay Ronald Reagan wrote entitled
"What the Fourth of July Means To Me."
"For one who was born and grew up in the small towns of the Midwest,
there is a special kind of nostalgia about the Fourth of July. I
remember it as a day almost as long-anticipated as Christmas.
"Somewhere in our growing up we began to be aware of the meaning of days and with that awareness came the birth of patriotism. July Fourth is the birthday of our nation. I believed as a boy, and believe even more today, that it is the birthday of the greatest nation on earth.
"What manner of men were [gathered in Philadelphia in July 1776]? Twenty-four were lawyers and jurists, 11 were merchants and tradesmen, and nine were farmers. They were soft-spoken men of means and education; they were not an unwashed rabble. They had achieved security but valued freedom more. Their stories have not been told nearly enough.
"John Hart was driven from the side of his desperately ill wife. For more than a year he lived in the forest and in caves before he returned to find his wife dead, his children vanished, his property destroyed. He died of exhaustion and a broken heart.
"Carter Braxton of Virginia lost all his ships, sold his home to pay his debts, and died in rags. [Thomas] Nelson personally urged Washington to fire on his home and destroy it when it became the headquarters for General Cornwallis. Nelson died bankrupt.
"But they sired a nation that grew from sea to shining sea. In recent years, however, I've come to think of that day as more than just the birthday of a nation. It also commemorates the only true philosophical revolution in all history.
"Oh, there have been revolutions before and since ours. But those revolutions simply exchanged one set of rules for another. Ours was a revolution that changed the very concept of government.
"Let the Fourth of July always be a reminder that here in this land, for the first time, it was decided that man is born with certain God-given rights; that government is only a convenience created and managed by the people, with no powers of its own except those voluntarily granted to it by the people. We sometimes forget that great truth, and we never should."
President Reagan's words are especially poignant this Fourth of July and should encourage us all in the days and weeks ahead. Let us rededicate ourselves to the vision of our Founding Fathers, so that our nation may experience a "new birth of freedom" on November 6th!
