Enter The New Year With Him!
I read some research by William Morriston,
- a psychologist, who reported that 94% of the 3,000 persons he surveyed were enduring today in order to get to tomorrow.
Do you know anyone like that?
Perhaps you are one of those.
Tomorrow, you're going on vacation.
Tomorrow, you're going to get the house cleaned.
Tomorrow, you're going to start your diet.
Tomorrow, you're going to balance your checkbook.
Tomorrow... tomorrow... tomorrow...
The only problem is tomorrow never arrives!
When it gets here, it is today.
And today is the tomorrow you worried about yesterday.
It is always today.
What are you worrying about?
It's time to ask His forgiveness and give Him your concern.
He is more than able to handle it.
Worry is pulling tomorrow's clouds over today's sunshine.
Worry about nothing!
Pray about every thing!!
Worried about what 2008 will bring?
God-
- knows your future!
- holds your future!!
- and is your future!!!
Enter the New Year with Him!
Goodness and mercy shall follow you!!

Good Tidings Of Great Joy!
"And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people." Luke 2:10.
The angel said that-
- we have received "good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people."
God wants this message known around the world.
You may not be a preacher!
But you can be a reacher!!
What would happen if every believer went out into their neighbourhood and said:
"Jesus is Lord!"
How will the world know if we don't tell them?
We need to be bold for Jesus.
The skies are going to split open.
The trumpet is going to sound.
The dead in Christ will rise.
The angels will once again be heard!
"He's returned!"
The Saviour born in a manger-
- will return as a Monarch!
-to rule and to reign!!
Are you joyfully sharing the Good News of Christ this Christmas?
Will you be bold and share His Good News with someone today?

Free From The Bondage Of Sin
In a world enhanced by technology, communication, and prosperity, it's easy to believe that mankind is somehow better off now than it was 2,000 years ago. And while innovation has made life more comfortable, even it can offer no cure for the deepest of all human agonies--the bondage of sin. These days, we often forget that the world wasn't saved by global diplomacy or self-sufficiency. It took a willing spirit. A primitive manger. And broken men who recognize that salvation lies not within themselves but with the baby born that quiet night to a dark and weary world. Yet God's message of hope and redemption was just as threatening to rulers then as it is today. Like so many across the globe, our Chinese brothers and sisters are still paying a costly price for their government's ancient jealousy. This year, 70 of their bravest pastors will spend Christmas in prison because they dared to put their trust not in the government but in the Prince of Peace. They were arrested for believing that God is moving and working in their world, just as He was centuries ago, to fulfill the prophecies begun on Christmas day. For their families and friends, the season is a time of holy and sacred reverence, celebrated in secret and observed in underground gatherings. Some will travel through dangerous countryside, risking their own capture, to commemorate their ultimate freedom through Christ. There they exchange the religious tumult of these times for the peace and tranquility of the manger. There they reflect on Bethlehem's truth that while tyranny may govern their lives, only God can govern men's hearts. And it is there, in this atmosphere of persecution and despair, that the Messiah's light shines its brightest--promising deliverance to all who believe. May they exult like Zachariah, who said:
Praise be to the Lord, the God of Israel, because he has come and has redeemed his people. He has raised up a horn of salvation for us in the house of his servant David... to rescue us from the hand of our enemies, and to enable us to serve him without fear in holiness and righteousness before him all our days. Josh Groban Grabs Elvis' Holiday Crown
The Lord has blessed us with Josh. Such a powerful voice.
Groban Grabs Elvis' Holiday Crown

David Jenison
Holiday sales might be depressing, but it's no blue Christmas for Josh Groban. He just broke a chart record Elvis set back when Eisenhower was President.
Josh Groban's Noël claimed an unprecedented fourth straight week at number one, a feat never before accomplished by a holiday album. Elvis Presley set the previous record, three weeks, half a century ago with 1957's Elvis' Christmas Album.
For the week ended Sunday, Noël topped the chart and rewrote the record books by selling an incredible 669,000 copies, according to the latest Nielsen SoundScan numbers.
Groban, whose single "I'll Be Home for Christmas" topped the AC charts this week as well, has sold nearly 2.8 million copies of Noël in its 10-week run. That puts Noël in the lead as the year's bestselling album, and if the trend holds, it'll become the first holiday album to top year-end sales in the SoundScan era.

The cross is truly an awsome sight to behold. It is a dedication to the love and sacrifice of Jesus. It is a spectacular sight at night, and is open for viewing 24 hours per day, seven days a week, and the site is truck and RV accessible. It is anticipated that 10 million people a year will pass by the cross and a thousand a day will stop. | ||

Christian
When I say... "I am a Christian" I'm not shoutin "I'm clean livin'"
I'm whispering "I was lost, Now I'm found and forgiven."
When I say... "I am a Christian" I don't speak of this with pride.
I'm confessing that I stumble and need Christ to be my guide.
When I say... "I am a Christian" I'm not trying to be strong.
I'm professing that I'm weak and need His strength to carry on.
When I say... "I am a Christian" I'm not bragging of success.
I'm admitting I have failed and need God to clean my mess.
When I say... "I am a Christian" I'm not claiming to be perfect,
My flaws are far too visible but, God believes I am worth it.
When I say... "I am a Christian" I still feel the sting of pain…
I have my share of heartaches, so I call upon His name.
When I say... "I am a Christian" I'm not holier than thou,
I'm just a simple sinner Who received God's good grace, somehow.

URGENT: The Land of Israel
We are a third of the way there. 31,189 people have already cast their votes, but we must get at least 100,000 responses or President Bush will think that Christians support dividing Jerusalem and a Palestine State in 2008.
In an article dated October 14, 2007, the following statement was made by former chief rabbi Avraham Shapira: “The Land of Israel belongs to the Nation of Israel and was granted to us an inheritance by the Creator of the World. Neither the prime minister nor anybody else has the right give away areas, or even a grain of sand, of the Holy Land of Israel.” (To reach the complete article, click here.)
It’s absolutely urgent that you vote today. President Bush will be traveling to Jerusalem on January 9th. Please get 10 of your friends to join you as we voice our opinion to the President. Your votes will also be released to the Israel media to let them know that as Christians we do not support President’s Bush’s plan.

The Grinches of Christmas
Last night, the House of Representatives voted on a benign resolution, H.R. 847, "recognizing the importance of Christmas and the Christian faith." Not surprisingly, the initiative, sponsored by Rep. Steve King (R-Iowa), passed overwhelmingly--despite nine Democrats who voted against it and ten members (nine Democrats and one Republican) who voted "present." Interestingly, the 17 Democrats who voted either "nay" or "present" weren't motivated by the so-called "separation of church and state," since they were seen formally recognizing Islam back in October. H.R. 635, sponsored by Rep. Eddie Bernice Johnson (D-Tex.), recognized the "commencement of Ramadan, the Islamic holy month of fasting and spiritual renewal, and commended Muslims in the United States and throughout the world for their faith." Perhaps these congressional scrooges took issue with the wording of the Christmas resolution. Or did they have a bigger problem rejecting "bigotry and persecution directed against Christians, both in the United States and worldwide"? Maybe they disagreed with the expression of their "deepest respect to American Christians and Christians throughout the world." Whatever their reasoning, these 17 Democrats have some explaining to do. How can they possibly promote Islam in the same breath that they attack Christianity, the very faith that buoyed our nation at its founding? The following voted "no" on H.R. 847 and "yes" on H.R. 635: Reps. Gary Ackerman (D-N.Y.), Yvette Clarke (D-N.Y.), Diana DeGette (D-Co.), Alcee Hastings (D-Fl.), Jim McDermott (D-Wash.), Bobby Scott (D-Va.), Fortney Stark (D-Calif.) and Lynn Woolsey (D-Calif.). Those who voted "present" on H.R. 847 and "yes" on H.R. 635 include: Reps. John Conyers (D-Mich.), Barney Frank (D-Mass.), Rush Holt (D-N.J.), Donald Payne (D-N.J.), Janice Schakowsky (D-Ill.), Allyson Schwartz (D-Pa.), Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-Fl.), Peter Welch (D-Vt.) and John Yarmuth (D-Ky.).

In Prayers For The New Life Church
In Prayers for The New Life Church
It is hard not to draw a line between the hostility that is being fomented in our culture from some in the secular media toward Christians and evangelicals in particular and the acts of violence that took place in Colorado yesterday. But I will say no more for now other than that our friends at New Life Church and YWAM are in our thoughts and prayers.

A Message By George Carlin
GEORGE CARLIN (His wife recently died...)
Isn't it amazing that George Carlin - comedian of the 70's and 80's - could write something so very eloquent...and so very appropriate.
A Message by George Carlin:
The paradox of our time in history is that we have taller buildings but shorter tempers, wider Freeways, but narrower viewpoints. We spend more, but have less, we buy more, but enjoy less. We have bigger houses and smaller families, more conveniences, but less time. We have more degrees but less sense, more knowledge, but less judgment, more experts, yet more problems, more medicine,
but less wellness.
We drink too much, smoke too much, spend too recklessly, laugh too little, drive too fast, get too angry, stay up too late, get up too tired, read too little, watch TV too much, and pray too seldom.
We have multiplied our possessions, but reduced our values. We talk too much, love too seldom, and hate too often.
We've learned how to make a living, but not a life. We've added years to life not life to years. We've been all the way to the moon and back, but have trouble crossing the street to meet a new neighbor. We conquered outer space but not inner space. We've done larger things, but not better things.
We've cleaned up the air, but polluted the soul. We've conquered the atom, but not our prejudice. We write more, but learn less. We plan more, but accomplish less. We've learned to rush, but not to wait. We build more computers to hold more information, to produce more copies than ever, but we communicate less and less.
These are the times of fast foods and slow digestion, big men a nd small character, steep profits and shallow relationships. These are the days of two incomes but more divorce, fancier houses, but broken homes. These are days of quicktrips, disposable diapers, throwaway morality, one night stands, overweight bodies, and pills that do everything from cheer, to quiet, to kill. It is a time when there is much in the showroom window and nothing in the stockroom. A time when technology can bring this letter to you, and a time when you can choose either to share this insight, or to just hit delete...
Remember; spend some time with your loved ones, because they are not going to be around forever.
Remember, say a kind word to someone who looks up to you in awe, because that little person soon will grow up and leave your side.
Remember, to give a warm hug to the one next to you, because that is the only treasure you can give with your heart and it doesn't cost a cent.
Remember, to say, "I love you" to your partner and your loved ones, but most of all mean it. A kiss and an embrace will mend hurt when it comes from deep inside of you.
Remember to hold hands and cherish the moment for someday that person will not be there again.
Give time to love, give time to speak! And give time to share the precious thoughts in your mind.
AND ALWAYS REMEMBER:
Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.
If you don't send this to at least 8 people....Who cares?

"God rest ye weary separalists"
God rest you weary separatists
Let nothing you dismay
Remember how your thin-skinned hurt made Christmas go away
To save us from religion's snare
And keep the creche at bay
Oh tidings of bah and humbug,
bah humbug
Oh tidings of bah and humbug.
We must not say the dread C word
Instead say holiday
For if someone should utter such it could produce dismay
And their offense is too intense
It makes them run away
Oh tidings of bah and humbug,
bah and humbug
Oh tidings of bah and humbug
The ACLU huffs and puffs
Whenever they do see
A baby in a manger sitting by a Christmas tree
For Jesus brings them no delight
On public property
Oh tidings of bah and humbug,
bah and humbug
Oh tidings of bah and humbug
Though citizens throughout the land
Think these displays are blessed
The separatists are angry oer the one who is distressed
And rather than just get along
They sue and bring unrest
Oh tidings of bah and humbug,
bah and humbug
Oh tidings of bah and humbug
The ACLU gets angry
If you mention Christmas trees
And when you do theyll try to sue and get attorneys fees
Theyll throw a fit and yell and spit
Until youre on your knees
Oh tidings of bah and humbug,
bah and humbug
Oh tidings of bah and humbug
So if you love the season
Dont be cowed by these mean types
And remember the reason
And not all the silly hypes
And celebrate it proudly and ignore their petty gripes
Oh tidings of comfort and joy, comfort and joy
Oh tidings of comfort and joy
MERRY CHRISTMAS, YA'LL!

"Our Time Has Come"
Guest Commentary: Dr. Laurence White--Our Time Has Come
On November 26th, Robert Novak, a pre-imminent Washington insider, published a most revealing article, ominously entitled “The False Conservative,” expressing the Republican establishment’s misgivings about the surging presidential candidacy of former Arkansas governor Mike Huckabee. Novak’s “angst” laden article was revealing, not so much for what it told us about Huckabee--which was largely a rehash already familiar attacks and accusations--but for it’s stark portrayal of the profound anxiety with which the Republican Party establishment has always viewed Christian conservatives.
Novak contends that “the rise of evangelical Christians” as a key component in the Republican coalition has ‘always contained an inherent danger.” From the perspective of a corrupt, self-serving party establishment which is motivated only by the desire to maintain and extend its own political power that danger is very real.
The powers that be with the GOP have attempted to manipulate and control Christian conservatives from the moment of their entrance into the political arena. The unique feature of the Novak article is the openness with which the columnist is willing to express the establishment’s cynical agenda. Novak contemptuously dismisses Christian activists as “these new Republican acolytes” who were to be used and then cast aside while the ‘conventional conservatives,” whose infinitely flexible principles always bow to the requirements of political expediency, remained in absolute control. These interlopers could be tolerated as long as they behaved themselves and played by the traditional rules of “conventional conservatives.” That is to say, they could be tolerated as long as they allowed themselves to be manipulated and did not dare to attempt to take control and actually implement the moral convictions which were their primary concern.
But now, in the face of a surging Huckabee campaign, that absolute control seems to be slipping. For the “good old boys” in Washington that is a prospect which “makes real conservatives shudder.” What they are shuddering about is the possibility of a presidential candidate who truly believes the empty words which the establishment has been using all this time as nothing more than a tactic to keep the Evangelicals on board. Imagine what might happen if all those Christians would elect “one of their own” who wouldn't’t play the same old game by the same old rules. Imagine what would happen if we chose a president who was genuinely committed to transforming our culture rather than merely getting himself re-elected. It is a frightening prospect if your primary motive has always been to spend the rest of your life gorging from the trough in Washington.
The shudders of the old guard are certainly a most promising sign. What makes “the rise of Evangelical Christians” dangerous is that their primary motive is principle, not politics. We have entered the public square to restore an America where all human life is safe and sacred and where the family is respected and protected as the keystone of a stable society. Political power for us is merely the means to an end, not the end in itself. Perhaps the unexpected success of the Huckabee campaign, confounding all of the professional pollsters and prognosticators, is a sign that our time has finally come.

A Prayer for the Omaha, Nebraska Vctims
Happy Hanukkah
The History of Hanukkah
Hanukkah is celebrated for eight days and nights, starting on the 25th of Kislev on the Hebrew calendar (which is November-December on the Gregorian calendar). In Hebrew, the word "Hanukkah" means "dedication."
The holiday commemorates the rededication of the holy Temple in Jerusalem after the Jews' 165 B.C.E. victory over the Hellenist Syrians. Antiochus, the Greek King of Syria, outlawed Jewish rituals and ordered the Jews to worship Greek gods.
In 168 B.C.E. the Jews' holy Temple was seized and dedicated to the worship of Zeus.
Some Jews were afraid of the Greek soldiers and obeyed them, but most were angry and decided to fight back.
The fighting began in Modiin, a village not far from Jerusalem. A Greek officer and soldiers assembled the villagers, asking them to bow to an idol and eat the flesh of a pig, activities forbidden to Jews. The officer asked Mattathias, a Jewish High Priest, to take part in the ceremony. He refused, and another villager stepped forward and offered to do it instead. Mattathias became outraged, took out his sword and killed the man, then killed the officer. His five sons and the other villagers then attacked and killed the soldiers. Mattathias' family went into hiding in the nearby mountains, where many other Jews who wanted to fight the Greeks joined them. They attacked the Greek soldiers whenever possible.
Judah Maccabeeand his soldiers went to the holy Temple, and were saddened that many things were missing or broken, including the golden menorah. They cleaned and repaired the Temple, and when they were finished, they decided to have a big dedication ceremony. For the celebration, the Maccabees wanted to light the menorah. They looked everywhere for oil, and found a small flask that contained only enough oil to light the menorah for one day. Miraculously, the oil lasted for eight days. This gave them enough time to obtain new oil to keep the menorah lit. Today Jews celebrate Hanukkah for eight days by lighting candles in a menorah every night, thus commemorating the eight-day miracle.

Are We Not All Seeking The Same Thing?
Greetings to you all, my precious friends.
In the name of the Almighty God, the Creator of all living things...I do greet you.
Whether you're Muslim, Jewish, Hindu, Buddhist, Catholic or Christian, my honest desire & prayer is that you feel the sincerity of my heart in this writing. For if you are a 'true believer', then each and every one of you are seeking the same thing - truth, wisdom, justice, happiness... and, enlightenment. For is not the Almighty God 'Light'? Is not the Creator of all living things a God of Love?
Our Muslim friends say that God cannot "beget, nor is He begotten"... and yes, in the carnal sense, this is true. But God does have Spiritual Children. He is our Spiritual Father. That is, once you've come to know Him intimately.. .and thru a Spiritual "birth".
God does not have sex as we do. Neither will there be any such carnal act in His eternal Kingdom.
The physical union between man & wife is but only a shadow (or, type), of our Spiritual union with God. For is this not what we are all seeking? To be so close to God that we can become one with Him? To be fully in His' Love? To have as pure a thoughts as Him?
Don't all of us just want to love and to be loved?
Our purpose here is not to force man's religion upon anyone. Our purpose is to share with you...that which has been freely given to us...L-O-V-E. The kind of Love that truely sets one's mind, body and soul free. A Love that frees us from the bonds of this Earthly flesh. Free from the carnal lusts and desires that God has no use for.
For a man does not find true happiness & freedom by having many to serve him. He finds it when he can serve others. For you can never know true Love until you are able to make others happy.
Most of you only want to live simple lives. To have security - a happy home, happy children, warmth, compassion, joy...all in a godly atmosphere of humility, cleanliness, and respect & reverence to the higher things of God. Not forced or done out of fear, but done from sincere hearts...thru acts of kindness. An atmosphere like this can only be produced by humble attitudes - with patience, generosity, mercy and consideration.
If you see people who only desire to force their beliefs on others...thru fear and control...then you are seeing those with troubled souls. For such as them are those who are still in darkness. They do not know the True Almighty God. God taught us, long ago, that those tactics do not produce an atmosphere of Love & happiness. They will only produce hate, suffering and separation from God. Anyone who thinks they can find Eternal Life thru inflicting pain on others is in for a rude awakening. Only when you can do the exact opposite is when you are even beginning to find the path to Eternal Life.
For when you can allow someone to do bad to you, and not have hate in your heart...or, when you see them doing ungodly deeds, and instead of thinking only retribution for them, you think of only mercy, and that they might be able to know true peace in their troubled mind...and, when you can truely forgive, pray for, and Love them...only then have you, yourself, found the very vestibule of Heaven.
This is our religion.
May God richly bless you all. For i truely Love each and every one of you.
Your friend,
Brother Shane

The Bible and 'global warming'
I can certainly understand why neo-pagans like Al Gore believe, despite overwhelming scientific evidence to the contrary, man-made, catastrophic global warming is the gravest threat to the planet. What I can't understand is why people who claim to believe in the Bible as the inerrant, inspired Word of God do so.
Even more difficult to comprehend is why some evangelical Christians are caught up in the notion that government and international action are the proper methods to fight this phantom threat.
First of all, in Genesis 8:22, we're told of a promise by God never to use global floodwaters again as a means of destroying life on Earth. In that promise, the Bible explicitly states: "While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease."
In other words, no more cataclysmic floods – the result Al Gore promises in the near future as a consequence of global warming. Just as importantly, there is another promise there that cold and heat shall not cease.
What does that mean?
It means God controls the world's temperature, not man. God controls the climate, not man. God controls the earth's "eco-system," not man. God controls our environment, not man.
It is so presumptuous and haughty of believers and non-believers alike to think man is in control of the destiny of the planet God created for us.

Christmas Letter From Jesus
Dear Children,
It has come to my attention that many of you are upset that folks
are taking My name out of the season. Maybe you've forgotten
that I wasn't actually born during this time of the year and
that it was some of your predecessors who decided to celebrate
My birthday on what was actually a time of pagan festival.
Although I do appreciate being remembered anytime.
How I personally feel about this celebration can probably be
most easily understood by those of you who have been blessed
with children of your own.
I don't care what you call the day. If you want to celebrate
My birth, just GET ALONG AND LOVE ONE ANOTHER.
Now, having said that let Me go on. If it bothers you that the
town in which you live doesn't allow a scene depicting My
birth, then just get rid of a couple of Santa's and snowmen
and put in a small Nativity scene on your own front lawn. If
all My followers did that there wouldn't be any need for such
a scene on the town square because there would be many of them
all around town.
Stop worrying about the fact that people are calling the tree
a holiday tree, instead of a Christmas tree. It was I who made
all trees. You can remember Me anytime you see any tree.
Decorate a grape vine if you wish: I actually spoke of that
one in a teaching, explaining who I am in relation to you and
what each of our tasks were. If you have forgotten that one,
look up John 15: 1 - 8.
If you want to give Me a present in remembrance of My birth
here is my wish list. Choose something from it:
1. Instead of writing protest letters objecting to the way My
birthday is being celebrated, write letters of love and hope
to soldiers away from home. They are terribly afraid and
lonely this time of year. I know, they tell Me all the time.
2. Visit someone in a nursing home. You don't have to know
them personally. They just need to know that someone cares
about them.
3. Instead of writing George complaining about the wording on
the cards his staff sent out this year, why don't you write
and tell him that you'll be praying for him and his family
this year. Then follow up. It will be nice hearing from you
again.
4. Instead of giving your children a lot of gifts you can't
afford and they don't need, spend time with them. Tell them
the story of My birth, and why I came to live with you down
here. Hold them in your arms and remind them that I love
them.
5. Pick someone that has hurt you in the past and forgive him
or her.
6. Did you know that someone in your town will attempt to take
their own life this season because they feel so alone and
hopeless? Since you don't know who that person is, try giving
everyone you meet a warm smile; it could make the difference.
7. Instead of nit picking about what the retailer in your town
calls the holiday, be patient with the people who work there.
Give them a warm smile and a kind word. Even if they aren't
allowed to wish you a "Merry Christmas" that doesn't keep you
from wishing them one. Then stop shopping there on Sunday.
If the store didn't make so much money on that day they'd
close and let their employees spend the day at home with their
families.
8. If you really want to make a difference, support a
missionary - especially one who takes My love and Good News to
those who have never heard My name.
9. Here's a good one. There are individuals and whole
families in your town who not only will have no "Christmas"
tree, but neither will they have any presents to give or
receive. If you don't know them, buy some food and a few
gifts and give them to the Salvation Army or some other
charity which believes in Me and they will make the delivery
for you.
10. Finally, if you want to make a statement about your belief
in and loyalty to Me, then behave like a Christian. Don't do
things in secret that you wouldn't do in My presence. Let
people know by your actions that you are one of mine.
Don't forget; I am God and can take care of Myself. Just love
Me and do what I have told you to do. I'll take care of all
the rest.
Check out the list above and get to work; time is short. I'll
help you, but the ball is now in your court. And do have a
most blessed Christmas with all those whom you love and
remember:
I LOVE YOU, JESUS

Loving God Under Trials
James 1:12 Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him. 13 Let no one say when he is tempted, “I am tempted by God”; for God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does He Himself tempt anyone. 14 But each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own desires and enticed. 15 Then, when desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, brings forth death. 16 Do not be deceived, my beloved brethren. 17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning. 18 Of His own will He brought us forth by the word of truth, that we might be a kind of firstfruits of His creatures.
Third Eathquake hits Israel in one week
Central Israel was shaken by a mild earthquake Friday night, the third temblor to hit the Jewish state in less than a week.
Centered on the town of Ramle (just miles from Ben Gurion International Airport), the quake registered 4.1 on the Richter scale and we felt strongly throughout the country.
Earlier in the week, two earthquakes centered on the northern end of the Dead Sea registered 3 and 4.2 on the Richter scale, respectively.
There were no reports of damage or injury following any of the earthquakes, though each prompted Israeli analysts to point out the general level of unpreparedness and lack of building safety measures in Israel, which is expected to experience a far more severe earthquake at any time. Israel sits on the Syria-Africa Rift Valley, the largest fault line in the world.

Should a Christian Celebrate Christmas?
There is no Biblical warrant, precedent, nor precept for remembrance of the day of Christ's birth as a day of special religious celebration. This is not to say that we shouldn't remember Christ's birth and its significance, but for religious commemorations or celebrations, we must have Biblical command or precedent! The fact of the matter is this -- the early church did not celebrate Christ's birth, but such celebration only came into the church with the "Christianization" of pagan rites as Catholicism was made the state religion by Constantine in the fourth century A.D. Since the Word of God does not support the tradition of Christmas, a Christian's conscience ought not and must not be bound.
The following outline describes the origin of Christmas (with its associated pagan customs, symbols, and terminology), details the Scriptural support against celebrating Christmas, attempts to show that celebrating Christmas violates the spirit of every one of the ten commandments, attempts to demonstrate that celebrating Christmas does not fall in the realm of Christian liberty, and attempts to debunk eight of the major rationalizations Christians put forth for celebrating Christmas.

The Believer's War Cry
The Believer's War Cry -- Ephesians 6:10-14
A righteous believer is Satan's enemy. The greater our impact for God's kingdom, the harder he works to stir up frustration, doubt, and anxiety. The apostle Paul wrote a letter to the Ephesian believers, warning them that the Devil would scheme against a successful Christian life.
Satan loathes those who please the Lord with their lifestyle, and he rallies the "spiritual forces of wickedness" to attack believers in mind, body, and spirit (Ephesians 6:12). His primary goal is to divert our attention from the Lord so that our relationship suffers and our witness is weakened or ruined. The Devil cannot snatch our eternal spirit from God's hand (John 10:29), but he will settle for leading us to make a mess of this present life.
Paul counseled the saints to "be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might" (Ephesians 6:10). Fending off a satanic attack is not done in our own strength. No man or woman can match wits with the Adversary. He is smarter and stronger than even the most intelligent people. Instead, we are continually empowered by God through the Holy Spirit, who is far greater than Satan (1 John 4:4).
Believers have God's strength and His orders, which are to stand firm. That means we're to trust the Lord and wait patiently for Him to intervene. We are to be like a soldier on the battlefield, who digs his heels into the ground, puts up his shield, and stands ready for the oncoming enemy. The war is already won--our soul belongs to God--but the battle for our testimony on earth rages on. Stand firm.

Imam Says "Islamic State Of North America" by 2010
A Washington, D.C., imam states explicitly on the website for his organization that he is part of a movement working toward replacement of the U.S. government with "the Islamic State of North America" by 2050.
With branches in Oakland, Los Angeles, San Diego, Sacramento and Philadelphia, the group As-Sabiqun – or the Vanguard – is under the leadership of Abdul Alim Musa in the nation's capital.
To be the best community (Ummah), we must evolve, improve, and elevate ourselves in every way. We have to earn the title “best community” or “best of Peoples” by rising to the challenge of our time.
Prophet Muhammad (saw) once said: “When you see an evil, you must change it with your hand. If you cannot do so, then change it with your tongue. If you cannot do this, then (detest it) with your heart, and that is the weakest degree of faith.”
We must use whatever Allah (swt) gives us to make this world a better place.
Any business person will readily tell you that one of the most important factors for a business to flourish is “Location, location, location.” People of the world are crying for help. You and I, here in America, are living in the best location to change the world for good.
