Our little time of suffering is not worthy of our first night's welcome home to Heaven. -- Samuel Rutherford
"Truly
I tell you," Jesus replied, "no one who has left home or brothers or
sisters or mother or father or children or fields for me and the gospel
will fail to receive a hundred times as much in this present age: homes,
brothers, sisters, mothers, children and fields--along with
persecutions--and in the age to come eternal life. But many who are
first will be last, and the last first." – Mark 10:29-31
"A
nation can survive its fools (liberals), and even the ambitious (corporatism). But it cannot survive treason from within
(progressives). An enemy at the gates is less formidable (Islamic
Fascist), for he is known and carries his banner openly (Jihad).
But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly
whispers rustling through all the alleys (Hope & Change), heard in
the very halls of government itself (Yes we can!). For the traitor
appears not a traitor (public school indoctrination); he speaks in
accents familiar to his victims ("middle class"), and he wears their
face and their arguments ("I feel your pain"), he appeals to the
baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men (government
dependency). He rots the soul of a nation (Obamacare), he works secretly
and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city ($22.4
trillion), he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist
(vilify constitutionalists). A murderer is less to fear. The traitor is
the plague." - Cicero
If you never felt pain, then how would you know that I am a Healer?
If you never had to pray, How would you know that I am a Deliverer? If you never had a trial, how
could you call yourself an overcomer? If you never felt sadness, How would you know that I am a Comforter? If you never made a mistake, How would you know that I am a forgiver? If you knew all, How would you know that I will answer your questions? If you never were in trouble, How would you know that I will come to your rescue If you never were broken, Then how would you know that I can make you whole? If you never had a problem,How would you know that I can solve them? If you never had any suffering, Then how would you know what I went through? If you never went through the fire, Then how would you become pure? If I gave you all things, How would you appreciate them? If I never corrected you, How would you know that I love you? If you had all power, Then how would you learn to depend on me?
If your life was perfect, Then what would you need me for?
GOD is Great!
"You Raise Me Up " When I am down and, oh my soul, so weary; When troubles come and my heart burdened be; Then, I am still and wait here in the silence, Until you come and sit awhile with me.
You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains; You raise me up, to walk on stormy seas; I am strong, when I am on your shoulders; You raise me up... To more than I can be.
You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains; You raise me up, to walk on stormy seas; I am strong, when I am on your shoulders; You raise me up... To more than I can be.
There is no life - no life without its hunger; Each restless heart beats so imperfectly; But when you come and I am filled with wonder, Sometimes, I think I glimpse eternity.
Then
God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that
they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over
the livestock and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures that
move along the ground.” So God created mankind in his own image, in the
image of God he created them; male and female he created them. Genesis 1:26-27
Each
one of us is God's special work of art. Through us, He teaches and
inspires, delights and encourages, informs and uplifts all those who
view our lives. God, the master artist, is most concerned about
expressing Himself- His thoughts and His intentions- through what He
paints in our character; He wants to paint a beautiful portrait of His
Son in and through your life. A painting like no other in all of time.

Exodus 20:1-6 1And God spake all these words, saying, 2 I am the Lord thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. 3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me. 4 Thou
shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing
that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in
the water under the earth. 5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the Lord
thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the
children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me; 6 And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.
Thank You, God, that You show mercy and steadfast love to me and to a thousand generations of those who love You and keep Your commandments. We pray, Father, for our nation and many nations. Bring us into Your Truth, open eyes and ears to see and hear. Speak to our leaders and churches and give them discernment. Help them to choose Your way into Peace. Thank You, Father, for walking with us. Amen
The operators of the Hubble Space Telescope say the orbiting observatory has snapped photos of an approaching comet.
The Baltimore-based Space Telescope Science Institute says the Comet Ison is being called the "comet of the century" because it could be brighter than the full moon when it makes its closest pass by the sun in late November.
The institute says the pictures taken earlier this month show the comet slightly inside Jupiter' s orbit, about 386 million miles from the sun. The institute serves as the science operations center for the Hubble.
Hubble scientists say preliminary measurements show the nucleus of the comet is about three to four miles across. The comet was discovered in September by a Russian team.
