Revelation 13 details the reign of the Antichrist, the satanically-empowered False Messiah who will rule the world in the final years leading up to the Second Coming of Jesus Christ, the true Messiah. The Antichrist is called many names in the Bible: the man of sin, the son of perdition, the Wicked and in Revelation he is known as “the Beast.” This should be the first clear similarity between the Antichrist and the character of Vincent who the show calls “the Beast.” And just like the Beast of Revelation, Vincent is portrayed as heroic, kind and loveable.
