On The Eve (Cross-Post)

The sun shall be turned to darkness and the moon to blood before the great and terrible day of the Lord comes. Joel 2:31

THREE years ago to this day, I heard then, on the eve of the Feast of the Mother of God (also New Year’s Day) the words:

"This is the Year of the Unfolding".

Five months later, at the brink of springtime, the dimension of those words came in another whispering in my heart:

"Very quickly now….The economy, then the social, then the political order".

Then, the Unfolding began...

Lying Wonders

When people are saying, All is well and secure and, There is peace and safety, then in a moment unforeseen destruction will come upon them as suddenly as labor pains come upon a woman with child; and they shall by no means escape, for there will be no escape.
1 Thessalonians 5:3

Globalism is a godless counterfeit of God’s intended plan. Deceived backers from among “peoples, multitudes, nations, and tongues” are destined to share “one mind” with respect to globalism’s empty promises. Anticipating a mass planetary shift to enlightenment, duped global citizens will put their trust in “lying wonders.” In the end, sudden destruction, not peace, will be their unanticipated recompense.

The eco-socialist new world order counterfeits God’s true design. In the end, the Lord will assume His rightful, uncontested place on the planet, earmarked by restoration. The coming Millennium on earth is a one-thousand-year theocracy under rule of Jesus Christ.

A King Is Born!

"...and you shall call Him "Jesus".

About two thousand years ago God reached down and invaded this sphere of Earth through the birth of His son Jesus. God's invading force was met with rebellion and murder by a hostile King Herod who had no right to the Throne of David. He was not the true king of the Israeli people.
Men have not changed one whit today. Today world leaders still greet the Babe of Bethlehem with hostility and death. Just as the Roman Caesars and the Edomite king on David's throne greeted the King of Kings, today's leaders are no more willing to acknowledge the supremacy of God's rule on this earth or to give up their perceived self-importance and primacy in the affairs of men.
The birth of Jesus was the dividing point of history and the focal point of Scripture. From the very beginning, right after sin entered the world, God promised the Savior, the coming of the Messiah. Provision was made before the Garden of Eden was closed up to man.
Jesus Christ turned the world upside down forever. This Baby born in a manger usurped the throne of man. Even today we still think the state is going to solve all our problems and that the state is going to be the "salvation" of mankind and right all wrongs. But Jesus refuses to go away. He refuses to be relegated to the dustbin of history.
Join Bill Heid and Mark Rushdoony as they discuss the cataclysmic event that Jesus's birth was, how it turned the belief that man and kings were superior to God upside down, and how this Babe in a manger ushered in the possibility of western civilization and the ideas of liberty and freedom enshrined in our Declaration of Independence and Constitution.

O Holy Night

O Holy Night Lyrics

The words and lyrics of the old carol 'O Holy Night' were written by Placide Cappeau de Roquemaure in 1847. Cappeau was a wine seller by trade but was asked by the parish priest to write a poem for Christmas. He obliged and wrote the beautiful words of the hymn. He then realised that it should have music to accompany the words and he approached his friend Adolphe Charles Adams(1803-1856). He agreed and the music for the poem was therefore composed by Adolphe Charles Adams. Adolphe had attended the Paris conservatoire and forged a brilliant career as a composer. It was translated into English by John Sullivan Dwight (1812-1893).

O Holy Night

O Holy Night! The stars are brightly shining,
It is the night of the dear Saviour's birth.
Long lay the world in sin and error pining.
Till He appeared and the Spirit felt its worth.
A thrill of hope the weary world rejoices,
For yonder breaks a new and glorious morn.
Fall on your knees! Oh, hear the angel voices!
O night divine, the night when Christ was born;
O night, O Holy Night , O night divine!
O night, O Holy Night , O night divine!

Led by the light of faith serenely beaming,
With glowing hearts by His cradle we stand.
O'er the world a star is sweetly gleaming,
Now come the wisemen from out of the Orient land.
The King of kings lay thus lowly manger;
In all our trials born to be our friends.
He knows our need, our weakness is no stranger,
Behold your King! Before him lowly bend!
Behold your King! Before him lowly bend!

Truly He taught us to love one another,
His law is love and His gospel is peace.
Chains he shall break, for the slave is our brother.
And in his name all oppression shall cease.
Sweet hymns of joy in grateful chorus raise we,
With all our hearts we praise His holy name.
Christ is the Lord! Then ever, ever praise we,
His power and glory ever more proclaim!
His power and glory ever more proclaim!

Attitudes & Feelings

Ephesians 4:17 This I say therefore, and testify in , that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind. 18 Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of Elohim through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart: 19 Who being past feeling have given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness.

Ephesians 4:17-19 says that unbelievers can be so callous and hard that they are "past feeling."  But the same verse says that they live by their feelings in unbridled sensuality and carnality. The Lord showed me that they are past doing what they should be doing with their feelings.
God gives people feelings for a specific purpose and use in their walk with Him.  But people who have alienated themselves from God are hardened to the place where they are beyond using their feelings for the right purpose.  Satan moves them into an area where they live riotous lives, doing whatever they feel like doing.  "If it feels good, do it!"  You and I are not to live that way, but to make the truth of God's Word our standard and to obey it by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Ephesians 4:23 And be constantly renewed in the spirit of your mind.

We are to be "constantly renewed" in the spirits of our minds, having  "a fresh mental and spiritual attitude."  Attitudes begin in the mind.  Our minds are renewed by the Word of God.  Reading the Word daily renews our minds and changes our attitudes.

A Christmas Letter From Jesus

Dear Children,
It has come to my attention that many of you are upset that folks are taking My name out of the season. Maybe you've forgotten that I wasn't actually born during this time of the year and that it was some
of your predecessors who decided to celebrate My birthday on what was actually a time of pagan
festival.  Although I do appreciate being remembered anytime.

How I personally feel about this celebration can probably be most easily understood by those of
you who have been blessed with children of your own.  I don't care what you call the day. If you
want to celebrate My birth, just GET ALONG AND LOVE ONE ANOTHER.

Now, having said that let Me go on. If it bothers you that the town in which you live doesn't allow a
scene depicting My birth, then just get rid of a couple of Santa's and snowmen and put in a small
Nativity scene on your own front lawn. If all My followers did that there wouldn't be any need for
such a scene on the town square because there would be many of them all around town.  Stop
worrying about the fact that people are calling the tree a holiday tree, instead of a Christmas tree.
It was I who made all trees. You can remember Me anytime you see any tree.

Decorate a grape vine if you wish: I actually spoke of that one in a teaching, explaining who I am
in relation to you and what each of our tasks were. If you have forgotten that one, look up
John 15: 1-8.

If you want to give Me a present in remembrance of My birth here is my wish list. Choose something
from it:

1. Instead of writing protest letters objecting to the way My birthday is being celebrated, write letters
of love and hope to soldiers away from home. They are terribly afraid and lonely this time of year.
I know, they tell Me all the time.

2. Visit someone in a nursing home. You don't have to know them personally. They just need to
know that someone cares about them.

3. Instead of writing The President complaining about the wording on the cards his staff sent out this
year, why don't you write and tell him that you'll be praying for him and his family this year. Then
follow up. It will be nice hearing from you again.

4. Instead of giving your children a lot of gifts you can't afford and they don't need, spend time with
them. Tell them the story of My birth, and why I came to live with you down here. Hold them in
your arms and remind them that I love them.

5. Pick someone that has hurt you in the past and forgive him or her.

6. Did you know that someone in your town will attempt to take their own life this season because
they feel so alone and hopeless? Since you don't know who that person is, try giving everyone you
meet a warm smile; it could make the difference.

7. Instead of nit picking about what the retailer in your town calls the holiday, be patient with the
people who work there.  Give them a warm smile and a kind word. Even if they aren't allowed to
wish you a "Merry Christmas" that doesn't keep you from wishing them one. Then stop shopping
there on Sunday.  If the store didn't make so much money on that day they'd close and let their
employees spend the day at home with their families.

8. If you really want to make a difference, support a missionary - especially one who takes My
love and Good News to those who have never heard My name.

9. Here's a good one. There are individuals and whole families in your town who not only will have
no "Christmas" tree, but neither will they have any presents to give or receive. If you don't know
them, buy some food and a few gifts and give them to the Salvation Army or some other charity which believes in Me and they will make the delivery for you.

10. Finally, if you want to make a statement about your belief in and loyalty to Me, then behave like
a Christian. Don't do things in secret that you wouldn't do in My presence. Let people know by your
actions that you are one of mine.  Don't forget; I am God and can take care of Myself. Just love Me
and do what I have told you to do. I'll take care of all the rest.

Check out the list above and get to work; time is short. I'll help you, but the ball is now in your court.
And do have a most blessed Christmas with all those whom you love and remember:

I LOVE YOU, JESUS

Do You "Hear" The Word?

And he said to them, “Take care about what you hear. The measure you use will be the measure you receive. Matthew 4:24

The more time we spend thinking about the Word we read and hear, the more power and ability we will have to obey it and the more revelation and knowledge we will have about what we have read or heard. Basically this tells us that we will get out of God's Word what we put into it.  If you want to receive the maximum benefit from God's awesome Word, be diligent to read it, study it, and apply it to your life.

A Great Plan!

"For I know the thoughts and plans I have for you", says the Lord, "thoughts and plans for welfare and peace and not for evil, to give you hope in your final outcome".

Jeremiah 29:11

The Lord sees not only what you are right now, but also what you can become. He knows the plans He has for you and they are good plans for progress and success, not defeat and failure.

God does have a plan for our lives, but we have to participate in that plan for it to come true. God is not likely to do anything in our lives without our cooperation. We need to cooperate with God each and every day of our lives in order for our potential to be developed. Every day we ought to learn something. Everyday we ought to grow. Everyday we ought to discover something new. Everyday we ought to be a bit further along than we were the day before. We should be "lifetime learners".

We must understand that no other human being on the face of the earth can develop our potential for us. We must each discover our own God-given gifts and talents, what we are truly capable of, and then put ourselves to the task of developing those gifts, talents, and capabilities to their fullest extent.

God has a plan for each of us. It is a good plan, an uncommon plan, a great plan!

A Pure Silver Tongue

The words of a good person are like pure silver, but an evil person's thoughts are worth very little.
Good people's words will help many others, but fools will die because they don't have wisdom.
Proverbs 10: 20-21

As Christians, we all need to make a commitment to love with our words and to build confidence in others.  Every word we speak can be a brick to build with or a bulldozer to destroy.

Chose your words carefully because you will have to account for the idle, thoughtless things you say.  Remember, words are seeds and they are containers for power.  They carry creative or destrctive power and they produce a good harvest or a bad harvest in your life and in the lives of those you love.

The same is true of our thoughts.  Thoughts bear fruit.  If we think good thoughts the fruit in our lives will be good.  If we think bad thoughts, the fruit in our lives will be bad.

We can look at a person's attitude and know what kind of thinking is prevalent in their life.  A sweet, kind person does not have mean, vindictive thoughts.  By the same token, a truly evil person does not have good, loving thoughts.  Your thoughts determine your results in life, so think good thoughts and bear good fruit.

Lord, Consume us with the power of silver tongues.  Teach us that our words really do matter in expressing true love to those around us.

You Fool's!

You fools, how long will you be foolish?
I called you, but you refused to listen;
I held out my hand, but you paid no attention.
You did not follow my advice and did not listen when I corrected you.
So I will laugh when you are in trouble.

Then you will call to me, but you will not find me.
It is because you have rejected knowledge and did not choose to respect the Lord.
You did not accept my advice, and you rejected my correction.
So you will get what you deserve;
You will get what you planned for others.
Proverbs 1:22, 24-26, 28-31

Those who choose to live in His Kingdom (although very much alive on Planet Earth) choose to live under His authority.  The Kingdom is the invisable realm where God rules as supreme authority.  That's helpful news.  The bad news is that we, by nature, don't want Him to rule over us.  We much prefer to please ourselves.

To put it bluntly, we don't want anybody other than ourselves to rule over us!  Much like those people in a story Jesus once told, "We do not want this man to reign over us!" (Luke 19:14).

Not until we experience a spiritual rebirth will we submit to God's rule.

Lord, I pray that you will help us to be wise.  Help us to hear and increase in learning and knowledge so that we may attain sound counsel that we may steer our course rightly.

Angelic Angels

For He will give His angels charge over you to accompany and defend and preserve you in all your ways.
Psalm 91:11

Reports continually flow to my attention from many places around the world telling of visitors of the angelic order appearing, ministering, fellowshipping and disappearing. They warn of God's impending judgement and they spell out the tenderness of His love. They meet a desperate need, then they are gone. Of one thing we can be sure, angels never draw attention to themselves but ascribe glory to God and press His message upon the hearers as a delivering and sustaining word of the highest order.

Demonic activity and Satan worship are on the increase in all parts of the world. The devil is alive and more at work than at any other time. The Bible says that since he realizes his time is short, his activity will increase. Thru his demonic influence he does succeed in turning many away from their faith. But we can still say that his evil activities are countered for the people of God by His angelic angels. They are vigorious in delivering the heirs of salvation from evil men.

They cannot fail.

The Bible

The Bible reveals the mind of God, the state of man, the way of salvation, and the happiness of believers.
It's doctrines are holy, it's histories are true, it's decisions are immutable.
Read it to be wise, believe it to be safe, and practice it to be holy.
It contains light to direct you, food to support you, and comfort to cheer you.
It is the traveler's map, the pilgrim's staff, the pilot's compass, the soldier's sword, and the Christian's charter.
Here, Heaven is opened and the gates of hell is disclosed.
Christ is its grand subject, our good is its design, the glory of God its end.
It shall fill your memory, rule your heart, and guide your feet.
Read it slowly, frequently, and prayerfully.
It is given in life, will be opened in the judgement, and will be remembered forever.
It involves the highest responsibility, will reward the greatest labor, and will condemn all those who trifle with its sacred contents.
Owned, it is riches; studied, it is wisdom; trusted, it is salvation; loved, it is character; and obeyed, it is power.

The Rewarder

But without faith it is impossible to please and be satisfactory to Him. For whoever will come near to God must believe that God exists and that He is the rewarder of those who earnestly and diligently seek Him.
Hebrews 11:6

Without faith you cannot please God.  Therefore, no matter how many "good works" you offer, God will not be pleased if they were done to earn His favor. Whatever we do for God should be because we love Him, not because we try to get something from Him.

God is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.  I rejoiced when I finally realized this!  I know I have made many mistakes in the past, but I also know that I have diligently sought the Lord with all my heart.  That means that I qualify for rewards.  I decided a long time ago that even though I did not deserve them, I would recieve any blessings that God wanted to give me, graciously.

It Is The Veteran

It is the veteran, not the preacher, who has given you freedom of religion.

It is the veteran, not the reporter, who has given you freedom of the press.

It is the veteran, not the poet, who has given you freedom of speech.
It is the veteran, not the protester, who has given you freedom to assemble.
It is the veteran, not the lawyer, who has given you the right to a fair trial.
It is the veteran, not the politician, who has given you the right to vote.
It is the veteran, who salutes the Flag, who serves under the Flag, whose coffin is draped by the Flag.

What's Wrong?

Most people know something is seriously wrong in our country, but they don't understand the cause of the problem or what can be done to remedy the situation. Why are there 20-25 million unemployed people in the United States? Why isn't the federal government enforcing our immigration laws? Why does the federal government give tax incentives to manufacturers who offshore their production and outsource their jobs? Who is responsible for the economic recession that is crippling our nation?

I cannot tell you what lies ahead, but I fear the United States will soon collapse and there will be chaos on the streets of our nation. What can you do? You can help educate our fellow American people, and hopefully you can lead them into a personal relationship with our Lord, Jesus Christ. That is our primary weapon because:

"... we have this treasure in earthen vessels [our bodies], that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us. We are hard-pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed, always carrying about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our body. For we who live are always delivered to death for Jesus’ sake, that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our mortal flesh."
2 Corinthians 4:7-11

"O God, our help in ages past,
Our hope for years to come,
Our shelter from the stormy blast,
And our eternal home!
Under the shadow of Thy throne,
Still may we dwell secure;
Sufficient is Thine arm alone,
And our defense is sure."

The Lion And The Lamb

Then one of the elders said to me, "Stop weeping"!  See, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the root of David, has won.  He can open the scroll and break its seven seals. And there between the throne and the four living creatures and among the elders, I saw a Lamb standing, as though it had been slain, with seven horns and with seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God, Who have been sent into all the earth. Revelation 5:5-6

The characteristics of the lion are totally different from those of the lamb, yet the Lord is recognized as having both qualities.

Someone once gave me a picture of a lion and a lamb lying down together, and it reminds me that I am suppossed to be a good, godly mixture of both qualities. I never had any trouble with the lion part, but I had a lot of trouble with the lamb part  When we need to communicate with someone, especially concerning confrontational issues, we should first pray for God's grace and mercy to annoint us as lion-hearted lambs.  Then we should wait until we have balance in our perspective and our approach.

It is a challange not to defend yourself when someone comes against you.  It is difficult to ignore insults and shun retaliation. Sometimes I find that one of the hardest things God asks us to do is to be Christ-like in our communication with others.  When people are rude and tell you off, mistreat or insult you, it is hard to look at them with godly love and just wait on God.

Thank God He gives us the power to change and to become like Christ.  A healthy person who knows when to be a lion and when to be a lamb.

It Is Time To Fly With Me

You have seen what I did to the Egyptians, and how I bore you on eagle's wings and brought you to myself.  Exodus 19:4

My holy people; true spiritual life in Me is found in one source alone: Holy Spirit. Holy Spirit reveals. Holy Spirit sets free. Holy Spirit causes you to bear fruit for Me.

My holy people, why do you roam around, blind, enslaved and bearing no fruit? Could it be that you are ignoring My provision for you? Could it be you are afraid of My provision for you? Some are afraid of My provision for them, because they do not want to be recognized as Me in the earth. Afraid of persecution and rejection, they instead reject My provision for them.

My holy people; it really is time to wake up out of your sleepiness and begin to radically follow Me. Throw aside the traditions of people and the world and begin a bold new walk of following Me. You see, it is all about turning to Me. That is what repentance is you know. It is not about what you are turning away from, but it is about Who you are turning to.

Those that turn to Me will begin to walk in true spirituality in Me. Your eyes will be opened. Your lives will be set free. It is time to mount up with wings like eagles. It is time to fly with Me, My holy people.

A Softened Heart

And I will give them one heart and I will put a new spirit within them; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them a heart of flesh.  Ezekiel 11:19

God says He will replace the stony hearts in His people with new hearts that are sensitive to His touch.  When we give our lives to God, He puts a sense of right and wrong deep within our consciences.  But if we rebel against our consciences too many times, we can become hard-hearted.  If that happens, we need to let God soften our hearts so we can be spiritually sensitive to the leadership of the Holy Spirit.

I was very hard-hearted before I really began fellowshipping with God.  Being in His presence regularly developed the new heart in me--the new heart that Jesus died to give me.  Without a heart sensitive to God's touch, we will not recognize many of the times He is speaking to us.  He speaks gently, in a still, small voice, or with gentle conviction about a matter.

Those who are hard-hearted and busy "doing their own thing", will not be sensitive to God's voice.  I am grateful that He has softened my heart with His Word, because a hardened heart cannot recieve the blessings He wants to give.
